Clara is an artist and owns a gallery but is struggling economically. Finn is helping his aunt to renovate her inn, The Snowflake Lodge and he likes Clara since the first time he sees her. This was a sweet, short and easy-read romance. I liked how Finn ended the life his parents had set for him. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a sweet romance novel. For a short story it was engaging. Even though it was predictable, it was still a fun read. Clara and Finn meet, and sparks fly. Yet, Finn has unresolved issues at home he needs to take care of which almost ruins the relationship he started with Clara. This short story does get you in the Christmas mood. I recommend if you're interested in feeling the Christmas magic.
Meh! The writing style is good and the editing is clean, but the story has a lot of holes in it. Possible spoiler ahead. It's too cold to paint, their finances are never sorted, and what's the deal with the piece of art that sold? She does run an art gallery for profit, after all.
Sleigh Bells and Sweethearts (Snowflake Village Christmas Shorts #4) by Em Tate – Going to help his aunt run a small town inn is just supposed to be a break from the life his parents have mapped out for him, but he is falling for a local artist and gallery owner! So cute! Happy Holiday Reading!
