Compared to what came before, an outstanding book. On-stage Dazzler in full popstar mode has always felt cringe, even when I was a kid, b/c writers try way too hard to make her pop-appealing, and it always always always clunks. Nice to see Alison cavorting around Tokyo.

But I have a beef.
Ali "Where are you going?"
Lila "Dividing and conquering!"
That's the opposite of what that phrase means. Teams typically lose when their forces are divided, which is why splitting-up is a bad choice in a battle situation, but dividing your opponent is something to push for.

Then again, while Lila has palled around with X-Men, she's never been a member. We could assume she never had combat and strategy training at the Xavier school, so her ignorance on battle strategy could be in-character. Do I get a No-Prize?

Continues to be Incredibly Fun!

This is the most fun series I have read since X-Terminators. This is fun, fresh, moves quickly, and has heart. Loo gives so many nods to Dazzler's past that you know he did his research back to her inception. It shows and it pays off. The art by Loureiro is
fantastic and the action flows. A lot of plot points are packed into each issue, which is appreciated.
Sadly we only have 1 more issue. Hopefully we get an ongoing series or sequel!

I liked this issue a lot. Really good art. Interesting turn of events and a greater connection to some devious villains.
