A short story about a street fight which contains humor and good advice concerning mistakes to avoid if you ever feel inclined to begin a confrontation over littering. I actually did that once when I was I young and even dumber than now. Of course I was wearing a uniform and stopping litterers came under my purview. But I made some of the same mistakes as the main character in this story and almost had to shoot a man. Over littering.
This story is well written and entertaining enough that I signed up for Mr. Tanner's mailing list.
I thoroughly enjoyed this 30 minute quick read. How J. Tanner put so much action and perspective into an encounter on the highway and a banana peel is nothing but amazing. I liked his take on people and his schooling on what to remember what not to do. Good read and I hope to find more about Blake.
I have to say that this is one of the strangest stories that I have ever read. Also funny, in a self-mocking way. We'll see how the 2nd & 3rd installments go. 😶
"This is a work of non-fiction. The contents are completely true except for the parts where the narrator exaggerated or outright lied, and the parts where the author employed dramatic license. The rest though, all true." When I read this disclaimer, I knew I was going to be in for a real treat. Great short story! Looking forward to reading more about this Blake character and more from this author.
