The galactic quadrant continues to tumble into chaos after to the collapse of the ConFed and new nations scramble for control in the power vacuum it left behind.
It’s a dangerous and tumultuous time. Captain Jason Burke and his Omega Force crew are trying their best to stay clear of the trouble, but fate has other plans. What starts as mild curiosity about an incident involving a random stellar phenomena will quickly spiral out of control and puts them at odds with two competing superpowers, both after the same thing. This feels like the Omega Force of old and I'm here for it.

Another excellent entry in the Omega Force series. This one is a little less focused than some others in the series, but it is a joy to be back in Jason Burke’s world once again. With a new enemy on the horizon, this book sets up the next big bad. I am here for it.

All filler no killer
Overall, the book was fun and interesting enough to keep me occupied.
The books since the closing of the original 6 book arc have really left me frustrated however, and this book is just another step in that direction.
It feels to me like the author has not had a plan or an overall arc since book 6 ended. Characters, relationships, nations, etc have been regressed to keep things interesting. There is perpetually some traitorous element on earth, we have been down this road more than once before. It's really lame to keep pulling out the same villain or type of villain.
It feels like the author has had multiple plans/paths that he hinted strongly at in multiple instances, but many/all of them have been abandoned along the way. The machine seemed like it was not dead completely, there two Synths that took over running things. No mention. What actually happened to Christhof Dalton, there were hints he was compromised somehow, nothing happened there. It feels like the author is waiting to bring Kellea back to Jason at the last possible moment, but just throwing her a scene to remind us she exists. It leaves me feeling like other than earth becoming stronger, there is no consistent development of any plot point. The machine hinted at some larger enemy beyond the reaches, but my guy, how long is this going to take? And how much filler do we have to go through to get there? 10 books! What is the plan?
It's starting to get frustrating and feels cheap is all. Its the same thing over and over every book and minimal to no plot or character advancement.

The Phoenix is moving!
Jason Burke along with the rest of Omega Force are keeping busy. While Jason is missing the home & beaches of S’Torr they have been doing reasonably well living aboard Phoenix.
Of course, they are still trouble magnets, as they stumble first into the rescue of a random being in an alley behind a dive bar. The victim turns out to be less innocent than Jason thought when he saved him.
Now they are embroiled in an increasingly complex and dangerous situation that shows that the area has two new players who both are more than happy to kill in getting their interests.

With age comes much wisdom!
I was just checking and can hardly believe that I've been reading about Jason and the gang for 10 years. What a roller-coaster ride it has been. I am happy for all the ups and downs and bruises that Jason has given and received. It makes him such a richer character, and I like him more for it. The new story arc with the "unknown nemesis" leaves me waiting and wanting the next installment.

These books are a lot of fun
What a great series. Anyone who has read them front to back knows how much fun these books are. We’ve been with JD since he was a beginner writer and now he’s a master.
It’s just a shame the story sometimes progresses in the other series which keeps being subtly pushed on us (they just aren’t as much fun and exist in a crowded segment which I’m over).

Lacking something
It's good, but missing something the other books have had. Not sure what it is, but the excitement and urgency of previous books is missing
It's almost a recursor one that is setting the scene, rather than a story in its own right. It has enough to keep you engaged and as ever the repartee between the crew is humourous, but I kept feeling as there should have been more
Still a BIG fan of the series and.one I will stick with to the very end

A few years ago, I got back into books. I started with Asimov and read all of the robot books and the foundation books. I was all hooked on Science Fiction once again. the first Series I found was the black Fleet by Joshua Denzel.
This guy never writes a bad book. I got into Omega force and found it was such a cool series. It had Cowboys shoot them up robots named Lucky. It had everything. Please read these books. You’ll love them.

good read
Read all 16 books. Entertaining series. Good characters and story lines. Lead character has a romantic sliver now and then that could be enhanced a little. Most story lines connect but a couple seem to have been forgotten like an immense treasure ship they have yet to turn to their advantage. Plus. Their ship is old and if their to be credible need to move on and up. Only so many times you can save a jalopy looking forward to the next one. .

Omega Force wins again
Joshua Dalzelle proves yet again he is one of the best!. Never have I been more entertained by an Author. For the best entertainment ever read all the Omega Force books. You will not be disappointed. There is excitement, entertainment fear and sadness, then redemption in every story.

the story keeps getting grander without forgetting its roots
It’s been an amazing journey and as far as I’m concerned I see no need to end it.
Always a book I almost devour in a few short days forcing myself to take breaks.
One of my favorite authors and easily one I will re-read someday.

Well done!
I've read every book in the series and am always excited when a new book is released. The entire crew is composed of interesting characters. The series is not Earth centric and humans are not the ultimate beings. There's a good balance maintained between action and reflection. The storylines are consistent. Overall, this is one of my favorite series.

Jason and the team are still homeless and looking for well payed work. When a chance encounter results in a reward, the team are drawn into the search for a potential deadly weapon, that multiple factions want. The race is on to stop a potential world killer getting into the open and changing the balance of power in the galaxy.

Another Fantastic Addition
Jason and his crew continue to wreak havoc on the galaxy, but with good intentions.
I don’t remember the previous books having so many editing issues, and I initially gave this four stars. The story is so good and enjoyable that I still gave it five. Please fix the editing.

one of the greatest series in the SciFi world!
I have been captured and live in my mind as Jason. Wondering what it would be like to be taken from earth and introduced to other life forms! This series is one of my favorites and to be honest at the top of my favorites! Keep writing onward Mr. Dalzelle!!

What is there to say, Joshua is one of the best SiFi writers around and I have never been disappointed with any of his books I have read. I have read all of the Omega Force books and they seem to get better each time. When you think Jason is going to retire he pops back up with another problem to solve and now we are in for another series of threats to overcome. Bring it on

Another great story by Mr. Dalzelle. Love it when I see another new OF story is available and Staffall doesn’t disappoint. The storyline is setting up to b quite interesting with new players on the move. Looking fwd to more please.

Great series!!!
I've been reading SI FI for a very long time. Since the mid 1960's. Read some very good books, but the two about OF and TSF. are the very best in every way. Please keep these two having more adventures and fun!!!

Always a fun read!
I find myself not being able to put down an Omega Force book. Each book is like a chapter in the lives of the Omega Force characters, leaving one eagerly anticipating the next release.

After a long wait . . .
it was well worth it. Enjoyed every page, still has the same group that hates and loves each other's. Plenty of humorous passages, well developed story and unfortunately (and of course), a cliffhanger leading to a sequel.

Waiting for the next one
Plenty of action and the characters are very believable and easy to relate to. Even though it's sci Fi it seems to be possible in the future. Much like dick Tracy watch phone.

Great Read
The Omega series never fails to please. I couldn't stop until the book was finished and look forward to the next in the series. Great characters and a good plot with plenty of twists. Really enjoyable!

Good Points
Several good points here, but not enough. To me, Starfall felt like a setup story for something bigger. Actually, there were a few good humor situations, which is always welcome. There was action, but not the level I’ve come accustomed to in this series.
