Unfortunately, Kyle’s insecurities caused him to nearly destroyed their relationship, but he quickly realised the error of his ways and declared his true feelings towards Alyssa before he lost her.
The was a really enjoyable story, filled with drama, emotion and some angst, but most importantly a lot of love. I was hooked on this page turner from the beginning and didn’t take any breaks, until I read the last word. This is the first book I have read£ from this author and it has left me looking forward to more of her books.
I received a copy of this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this novella!! It had everything a good story needs..A grumpy MMC, A sassy FMC and a brother who pushes them away from each other. Granted we don't know any reason Josh wanted to keep them separate except that he sees Kyle as a bad boy/player and he sees Alyssa as the young child..instead of seeing Kyle as someone who has grew as he got older and Alyssa as someone who knows her own mind and isn't afraid to work hard to accomplish her goals and she isn't afraid to be with Kyle. Will Josh succeed in keeping them apart or will Kyle and Alyssa take matters into their own hands?? I do wish there was an epilogue just to see how things were going for Kyle and Alyssa down the road. 4⭐ 1🌶
Alyssa was sent to NY to fix the problem with Gall’s Restaurant. She certainly didn’t realize that it needs major help. She just needed to stay away from her brother’s best friend Kyle. Kyle can see that Alyssa is all grown up. But he can’t let his interest in her show. She is a great access to the business but never cross the line. This is an ok story. It is a bit choppy in some parts and it did drag at times. The chemistry between these two felt sort of off. I mean at times they talked and acted like siblings. But is does build up.
Alyssa has had a crush on her brother's best friend Kyle, but he only saw her as a child. Now she is working with him, and he sees her as the woman that she has become but her brother doesn't want them together because of Kyle's past. Will the pursuit of Alyssa bring an end to Kyle's relationship with Alyssa's brother.
A great story. A few jumps in the story and rushed at the end, but a great, fast read. Easy to love the characters. Would like more depth into the other characters, especially why Josh doesn't want the MMC and FMC together. No glaring grammar or editorial issues. Would definitely read more from this author.
It's a good story. The characters are relatable and likable. There is angst from both the boss/employee angle and the bother/best friend angle. I'm not sure why Josh had such a problem. It was as if he didn't even like Kyle in the first place. I wish the story had more depth.
