What an absolutely perfect and amazing ending to this series! This is by far my favorite witchy book series! I love all these characters so much and their histories! The suspense and action in this final story was so exciting and I just enjoyed the heck out of it! Georgie and Azreal were perfect. I love them so much!

The Witchlore series has just been the best comfort series! And thanks Netgalley and Graydon House for the ARC!

This series is warm, fun, light… and this final story was all of those things- and had a bit more adventure. Georgie was such a fun FMC to follow and her story felt so empowering and like a woman really coming into her own. She really wrote herself a new history, became independent, left behind her family baggage, and just was so strong by the end. She finally felt like she knew she was essential to the coven and I love the sisterhood between her and them girls. Georgie’s growth and her discovery of what it means to be powerful was really nice to read… it just makes you all warm and fuzzy by the end. And being real sisters at the end… amazing! If you’re looking for something light, sweet, easy, entertaining, and thoughtful… read this book and the rest of the Witchlore series!

Alright what in the actual fuck was this book😭

First of all, this is NOT a book that you can read standalone without feeling kind of lost. So, in case anyone is interested in the St. Cyprian books, I’d definitely recommend reading them in order.

Second, there is WAY too much going on. There’s curses and revenge and group dynamics and family drama and love drama and war drama, and then as an undercurrent to all of that, there is this weird fated-mates dynamic.

Azrael is really and truly awful, which makes the love and fated-mates elements of the story really, really hard to get through. I get that he’s supposed to be a dragon and therefore not conforming to human standards, but he’s truly just egregious. He is mean and rude, breaks boundaries and acts entitled, and then almost until the very end, he completely abandons Georgie to be on her own. The only part of the love story I enjoyed is when Georgie told him, “this is not love.” Because AIN’T THAT THE TRUTH 👏🏼 But then, unfortunately, they get back together *sigh*

Also, all of the characters just felt so flat, and sometimes dumb. Members of the Joywood coven are crumbling away and going missing, and they DON’T think that Carol— the ONLY one looking younger and more beautiful— is killing and feeding on them? Like what?!? I thought the Riverwood were supposed to be the smart ones! And Georgie’s OBSESSION with fairytales IS silly and annoying, even though it’s meant to be a big part of the story. That seems to be the only thing we know about Georgie, really, because she just falls so flat!

Netgalley ARC Review: 2/5

Being completely honest, this was not a book for me. I will rate it two stars because it wasn't the worst thing I have ever read, and I'm sure there are people out there who's vibe very much matches this.

For my taste, the entire book, plot and writing, reminded me of a Lifetime or Hallmark movie mixed with an episode of Sabrina the Teenaged Witch. There is far too much childish drama and elementary ideas and dialogue. I was so adverse to the cursed dragon turning into a hot guy trope. The entire book was full of tropes.

I would recommend this if you are into quick, easy, drama/romance fantasy. It's not terrible, truly just a not-for-me book.

A witch frees a dragon from an evil curse who turns out to be her soulmate, obviously.
Together with the other characters they defeat the big bad and get there HEA, what's not to like?

🐲 Found Family, Hidden Truths, and a Fiery Finale 🔥

As the final book in Hazel Beck’s "Witchlore" series, "Dragon Fires Everywhere" delivers a magical, heartfelt conclusion that ties together themes of love, legacy, and the power of truth. It’s a satisfying sendoff that balances cozy witchy vibes with high-stakes tension, leaving me both fulfilled and a little sad to say goodbye.

Georgie Pendell, newly returned from her travels as historian of the Riverwood Coven, has always felt like an outsider, more comfortable with her books than her peers. But betrayal cracks her world open, and when she accidentally frees Azrael, a dragon shifter bound by centuries of magic, everything changes. Their slow-burn connection is full of vulnerability and strength, as Georgie learns that claiming her place in the coven means not only rewriting its history but also standing in her own power.

What shines here is Georgie’s growth. From overlooked scholar to someone who realizes her knowledge can change everything, her arc is deeply rewarding. The Joywood Coven once again raises the stakes, with corruption, secrecy, and power struggles threatening the fragile new order. But it’s the found-family warmth of Riverwood, paired with the swoony star-crossed pull between Georgie and Azrael, that makes the book sing.

While a few pacing moments dragged or wrapped a bit quickly, the emotional payoff was undeniable. Hazel Beck brings the series full circle, blending romance, magic, and humor with reflections on legacy, identity, and hope.

✨ For readers who love witchy rom-coms with a touch of danger, dragons, fated mates, and strong found-family bonds, "Dragon Fires Everywhere" is a must-read conclusion to a cozy, magical series.

🙏 Thank you to Hazel Beck, Harlequin Trade Publishing, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Dragon Fires Everywhere

About the book 👇🏽

Duped and dumped by her boyfriend, Georgie finds herself dismissing love as a fairytale. But when the words she reads aloud from an enchanted storybook free a dragon shifter, everything changes.

🔥 My thoughts:

Hands down my favorite installment in the Witchlore series! There’s just something about a dragon shifter that does it for me. And I really enjoyed Natalie Duke’s narration, I was completely invested. Just like the first three, I found myself really loving the found family parts of this story. But mostly this story felt more exciting and I couldn’t be happier with the conclusion! If you love witchy rom coms and found family this is a delightful series to read! There’s final installment, Dragon Fires Everywhere is out now!

Happy reading 📖 🌙🎧🍂🔥

Thank you to HTP Books/Graydon House for providing me with a gifted ebook copy of Dragon Fires Everywhere through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I can't resist a great witchy romance and Dragon Fires Everywhere definitely lived up to my expectations. This is the fourth book in the Witchlore series. I did read this one, without having read the previous books, and I would highly recommend reading the series in order. There are characters and past moments that are referenced in Dragon Fires Everywhere, and reading the first three books would help with understanding those references in this book.

I found the FMC to be a strong character, and I loved seeing her growth throughout the book. The relationship she has with the MMC and her coven brought a lot of great heart to the story, and the magical creatures and magic brought a great whimsical feel. There are also some deeper family issues explored, with exposed secrets, and a darker side to the story, with the use of black magic.

Dragon Fires Everywhere, along with the other books in the Witchlore series would be the perfect reads for your spooky season/cozy season TBR.

Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC!

This was such a cute, albeit a little cheesy, conclusion to this series. I loved going back to the witchy small town of St. Cyprian.
We finally get a conclusion to the longstanding rivalry between the Riverwood and Joywood covens. I felt the ending was rushed but overall it was a satisfying conclusion.
The romance was insta-love/fated mates and it all just happened so fast; it didn’t really hit for me.
But overall, enjoyed reading and really like this series as a whole.
If you’re looking for a cute, cozy, witchy read for fall, check out this series.

This book was fine. I haven’t read any others in the series and I could tell this wasn’t completely a standalone book. The romance just didn’t do it for me. I liked the whole coven aspect of the story and maybe would have liked it better if I had read the prior books to really get to know all the members. Felt like I was thrown into the story and I had to figure stuff out as I continued reading.

While I stepped in mid-series, I still found this fantasy immensely enjoyable. There are enough descriptions of events from previous books to parse together most of what happens prior to this installment. I enjoyed the characters, world building, magical system, creatures, and pops of romance. I would definitely be interested in reading the rest of the installments. Thank you to NetGalley for my ALC.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for my first ever ARC in exchange for my honest review! I absolutely loved the concluding title of the Witchlore series. Georgina’s story was a fitting end to our time in St. Cyprian, and Dragon Fires Everywhere had tons of twists and small details from previous books that became exciting major plot points. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

Wow that was…. Not as good as it should have been

I have been rereading this series annually since book one was released. I thought it was not great but they improved so much with books two and three. I really had such high hopes for book 4 and the build up they’d created.

And then I read this…
So much of it IS good. That’s what’s most frustrating. It just fails massively to deliver on almost every regard.
This honestly feels like an entirely different, unrelated book from a different series. This feels like book 7 in a series that I somehow skipped ahead without realizing.
Suddenly there’s shifters and mermaids and fairies when we’ve barely got any of that before now. In any kind of way. There’s zombies and the riverwood acting stupid about carol and the couple being separated for like LARGE parts of the story when things are very serious and intense.
This could have been the cherry on top of a very well done cozy witchy series with real weight and stakes. With amazing ingredients from the previous books.
Except hazel beck skipped all the baking and just delivered this instead.
So very disappointing.
Especially considering like. 55% of the book is still so good. Could have been great.
Just didn’t bother giving everything the build up it deserves and instead overwhelmed with too much new lore.

Dragon Fires Everywhere is the 4th book in the Witchlore series.

Having not read the first 3 books and just listened to the audiobook as an ALC, I found I could follow everything as well as any references from the previous books. I would recommend reading in order for best enjoyment and plan on starting from the beginning.

Georgie Pendell is a witch who felt like she didn't fit into her coven. Being the 7th wheel amongst her friend group was hard. Her awfully boring boyfriend fed an imposter syndrome of how do I fit into my own life? Is this what I want? In an emotionally vulnerable moment alone, she read some words from her favorite childhood fairytale book and finds herself magically unlocking a DRAGON from a newel post.

I absolutely love a fated mates story, magic, witchcraft, women saving themselves. So this story was AMAZING. The audiobook was amazingly done and I found even though there were many characters done by one narrator, it was never confusing.

Spice? Only one love-making scene that was written in a way that gave the impression it was from the POV of an woman who focused on the romantic aspects of sex. I personally would make this a fade-to-black but some might say this makes this a 0.5 peppers as we do read she puts her hands on his chest and he enters her, but that as far as we read.

Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin Audio for the ALC.

Georgie is the new Historian of the governing coven. She returns home from her travel abroad collecting magical keys to open the archives. She returns early and goes to surprise her boyfriend Sage only to discover him cheating on her. She goes home and turns to a fairytale that has comforted her, her entire life, she reads it aloud only to have a dragon shifter materialize before her. Magical creatures are said to not exist or be extinct but there is evidence in front of her that the precious coven has kept big secrets. This dragon is key to their success in preparing for the upcoming Ascension and being able to overcome the black magic and sabotage of the previous coven.

The finale of this on going saga was so satisfying. It was lovely to see the final member of the coven get her happy ending and for the battle between good and evil to reach its end. I do think the pacing was a little inconsistent, it felt slow in some parts and very quick towards the end that felt like I blinked and it was over. Overall this was a good final book and it wrapped up the story well.

I loved reading this book, so I immediately requested the audio. This book as just as good in audio—if not better! Natalie Duke does a wonderful job bringing Georgie to life in this first person witch fantasy. This book was so much fun to read with an epic conclusion perfect for fall. It’s action packed with lots of great emotion and conflict. It’s very is well written and the plot is weaved together tightly and perfectly for a satisfying story!
Georgie comes home to find her boyfriend in a compromising position and finds herself feeling like the odd woman out without a mate. She goes home to an open kids book that she lent to her friend Emerson who is having a baby. The fun begins here! The dragon shifter that’s freed is a complicated soul that she just might be liking a little too much. Lots of good character growth for both Georgie and Azrael. I loved their connection. It was unique and interesting.

This book is a tangled web of lies and strength to hold onto their coven and finally beat the Joy wood once and for all. What an amazing series! I highly recommend! I received this book from Harlequin Audio and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Thank you Graydon House & HTP The Hive for the free gift!

This was a fun and satisfying conclusion to the series, giving Georgie Pendell her own story while tying up the larger worldbuilding nicely. I really enjoyed the dragon character. He was fiery, intense, and just the right mix of charm and danger.

What I particularly liked was that their immediate physical connection had a believable explanation, so it didn’t feel like insta-love. The story balanced romance, action, and worldbuilding really well, making it engaging from start to finish. It was also fun to see the coven dynamics and how Georgie and her friends stepped up to face challenges.

I didn’t find much to dislike here. It was exactly the kind of story I hoped for: light, entertaining, and emotionally satisfying without overcomplicating the plot.

Overall, this was a cute, action-packed, and heartwarming fantasy romance. I’d recommend it to readers who enjoy witchy worlds, dragon shifters, and love stories that combine adventure with romance.

This book is a captivating fantasy adventure that truly ignites the imagination! From the very first page, I was completely swept away into a world brimming with intricate lore, breathtaking landscapes, and, of course, magnificent dragons.

Beck masterfully weaves a tale that is both thrilling and deeply engaging. The characters are compelling, flawed, and incredibly easy to connect with as they face formidable challenges. The pacing is perfect, keeping you on the edge of your seat with every turn of the page.

If you're searching for a magical escape filled with vibrant characters, epic stakes, and a touch of fiery wonder, this book (and the entire Witchlore series) is an absolute must-read!

Quotes from the book:
Track 29 audio
“This is Love right here standing for one another with each other time and time again, no matter how tough, no matter how we disagree! Because LOVE is NOT about outcomes, it is not a weapon or armor; LOVE is the answer.

“Love cannot always change the world, sometimes we much change ourselves.”

Gideon’s grandmother track 29: … “that in doing we plant the seeds that will change futures we cannot see”

I truly loved meeting the authors at the Neighborhood Reads bookstore event last year and have enjoyed reading this series! I believe it is similar to the world in which we live today!!

4 stars...first off thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this eARC of the book. I am happy with how she ended the series. Everything wrapped up nicely and there weren't any plot holes. I like that she gave Georgie her own book so we could get more backstory on her. This book had it all; mystery, magical creatures, black magic, books, history, romance, a little chaos, some found family elements, past lives, and some laughs. Yes I would 100% recommend this whole series. I love the characters and the cute little town and everything.

I really enjoyed this finale to the Saint Cyprian series that has a witch historian working with a dragon who she doesn't realize is her fated mate who she has loved and lost for many lifetimes. Great on audio full of found family, paranormal mysteries and lots of great cameos from past couples. A standout end to the series. What an great book this was! Each book of this series was better than the previous one, and Dragon Fires Everywhere was a fantastic way to end it (even though I would have happily read several more books).

If you haven't read the Witchlore series, do give it a try. The series as a whole is outstanding!

Highly recommended.

3 | This was a bit disappointing for me. This was the last book in the series, it got a little cheesy, and I wonder if maybe it should have ended after 3 books. The romance was extremely understated, and I think the lore got away from the authors a bit (or maybe I had forgotten some of the detail from the other books).

This was quick and fun, a very easy read.

This feels like a cozy cross between When the Moon Hatched or Dragonfall and Practical Magic.

When I started reading this, I did not realize that it was the fourth in a series, but I really didn't feel lost at all. I caught up quickly and everything I needed to know was presented to me.

This is a very cozy dragon shifter romance (that also includes some witchy magic) and is set in a cozy little small town that feels reminiscent of Practical Magic or the Gilmore Girls.

I did find certain elements of this book to feel a bit flat, specifically the plot. I just wanted a little more oomph from that. I wanted some higher stakes and more action. Overall, I felt like the characters were well done, I just didn't love them. But that is totally a personal preference.

And this is a VERY appropriate time of year to read this book (very autumnal).

Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

Final installment of this witchy fantasy full of magic. The Joywood coven, practioners of black magic, are averse to ceding power and the knowledge they've kept hidden. While they have plenty of tricks up their sleeves, Georgina, the rest of her coven and a very lusty dragon refuse to be cowed. Fun! Thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
