A surprise pregnancy, marriage of convenience, billionaire romance from #1 Amazon and USA Today Bestselling author Bella Matthews.

Pushing Maddox Beneventi away was the hardest thing I’ve ever done . . . until the day I showed up at his doorstep clutching a positive pregnancy test.

If you’d have told me we’d be married a month later, I’d have laughed in your face. Because this tall, dark, devastatingly handsome billionaire couldn’t possibly be my happily ever after. Even if he was the only one I’d ever truly wanted.

Fairytales don’t always come true—especially for a princess.
But this isn’t a fairytale.

This is the story of how Maddox Beneventi saved me.
How he fought for me.
For us.

Maybe one day, I’ll tell our child the truth behind our so-called happy ending.
About the pain . . . the devastation and destruction that was left in our wake.
How hard we fought. First each other, then everyone else.

One day, I’ll share that the price we paid was the pain left etched on our souls.

But that day?
That day isn’t today.

This was really tough for me to review. First of all, I love Bella Matthew’s! All of her books are easy comfort reads and I love that. This one was hard because I don’t think I ever anticipated an mmc like I did Maddox. And I want to be fair to the author because it is great writing and I couldn’t stop reading it. I think Atticus was the star of the show for me. If you’ve read the Legacy of Gods series, he is Remi 2.0. Such comedic relief and I love him and hope he and Rhys get a book. I just feel a certain way about Maddox after seeing his personality in the other books and imagining how he and his FMC would be.

If I never read the other books in the series this would have been a five star no brainer. It’s top tier Bella writing and great story.

But knowing I read the other books in the series I was left disappointed. I feel like the Maddox in this book is not the one portrayed in the other books. And I just didn’t see him with a redheaded princess who is so opposite of his mom and sister. I always imagined him with a mafia princess from New York or one of the blondes. Even his mom Amelia in this book gives real housewives of New Jersey vibes. I imagined touch her and die. I thought we would have more West End and more of his point of view and the other characters from the series seeing as this was the last of this one. I feel like this was mostly about Lennon, a girl we met very briefly and were blindsided by their past relationship. Instead of the mysterious, moody, mafia prince Maddox we all know, he was a cinnamon roll. But——that’s all on me because the author can do what she wants. It was still a good book.

She's royalty, he's not. She's been in an arranged marriage since childhood, he's not the groom. But, when they're reunited after five years -- she pushed him away to go be happy while she resigned herself to being miserable with a soon-to-be-groom that banged every woman, she pleads (rolls eyes) for one night.

Of course, she gets pregnant. Shocker. Her whole trajectory is ruined. She has to tell him. HEA ensues. Ick. Because, no it doesn't.

The morning after their "magical time," she learns -- from one of his brothers -- that the hero slept with one of her cousins. Yeah. I so wanted to throw my Kindle. But she isn't allowed to be hurt or mad because they weren't together, he didn't know it was her cousin, and he believed he couldn't have her.

Meanwhile, she continued to save herself for him -- long for him -- and he's out laying down pipe like a plumber.

I hate that I read the little I did. -- I stopped at the cousin revelation, then searched, hoping it wasn't sure, only to learn it was.

And now, that they're expecting and get married, she gets to see her cousin at event, family gatherings, all while knowing she'd not only been with the hero, too, but she'd experienced him first.

This is not romance. This is a soap opera and it's icky.

Did I finish Breathtaking or did Breathtaking finish me. That is the real question and if you said option number 2 you would be correct! I honestly don't even know where to start with my review and here is why. If you are like me, you are fully immersed in the Bella-verse, which means we have been (im)patiently awaiting Madman's book. And when you highly anticipate something, it can fall flat but when I tell you that this book far exceeded my expectations I am not lying to you. In fact, I'm calling it now, Breathtaking is a TOP READ for me in 2025. This one receives ALL of the STARS!

I first want to say, I loved every single moment in the book. The plot was perfect. Maddox and Lennon are hands down one of my favorite Bella couples. Their story was angsty and emotional. The tropes for Maddox in this book fit him perfectly. And the fact that we have his happily ever after, I couldn't be happier.

Maddox MF Beneventi! This man. I am at a loss of words for how perfect Maddox is. He has always been a littler mysterious. And I knew he had a thing for Princess Lennon back in The Knockout and to think their story has been in the making for YEARS, makes their story that more perfect. So yes, you have Maddox, the dark prince falling for the royal Princess. And their relationship is strictly FORBIDDEN, which makes their plot so intriguing. As for Lennon, she was the perfect match for Maddox. I love how she challenges him. She's also not a prim and proper Princess. She swears like a sailor, verbally spars with Maddox and even winds up pregnant outside of her engagement with a Duke (insert shocked face now). At the end of the day, Lennon needed Maddox just like he needed Lennon. They saved each other in different ways.

So yes this was a story of two people who tried to stay away from each other for years. They can't be together but they will do everything in their power to make a relationship work. And against all odds, they did. I'm going to end my review here because there are a lot of things that happen in this book that I don't want to spoil for you. Just know, if you read this one, you will not be disappointed!

Hands down, Bella's best book to date!

You should most definitely read this book if you like:
- Accidental Pregnancy
- Marriage of Convenience
- Royal Princess x Dark Prince
- FORBIDDEN relationship
- One Night Stand
- Opposites Attract
- Found Family

* I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Bella Matthews for allowing me the absolute pleasure to read Breathtaking as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review.

Damn, this was disappointing, especially since I had such high hopes for Maddox with the way his personality was shining through this and the previous series.

But, as someone else already said, it felt more like hitting the tropes rather than reading an actual story with a logical plot development.

Maddox and Lennon just didn’t make much sense, their story was simply thrown in there and there was no tangible angst or tension, since nothing in the plot was particularly justified nor meaningful.

And for the love of the modern world, why do all those people seem to do nothing else but pop some exorbitant numbers of babies? Don’t they have any other hopes and dreams? At this point it’s just ridiculous and old.

I did enjoy this and it definitely deserves the four stars but also I can't say it was a favorite of mine from Bella Matthews. I can't even really figure out why but it didn't get my attention as much as I would hope from a story by this author. Maybe too many characters and storylines I was trying to remember from the previous books? Or maybe it's strictly just a me issue and I've never been a giant fan of the Royal storylines.

I preface this review by saying I love me some Bella Matthews - usually.

I think this book missed the mark. The blurbs and ALL social media posts/teasers over promised and the book under delivered. The blurb promised an angst filled, drama filled, sigh inducing story of love, loss, and finding love again. What we got was a watered down version of it. It started of with Part 1 making me think we'd be getting a glimpse of Maddox and Lennon the first time around. That we'd get to see them falling for each other, then having to part ways, then come back together. Nope, all we get is a cliched snowstorm one night stand as far as the past goes. The rest of the book is pretty much all in present time - so I did not understand the need for dividing the book up into parts.

The angst was at a very, very minimum. The story moved quickly and flowed well, and the drama, in my opinion was at a minimum. Nothing unexpected happened, no major drama that caused an uproar. The have a one night stand, Lennon ends up pregnant, Maddox offers her marriage so she can ditch her asshole of a fiancé, Lennon gets disowned but once her brother becomes king, all is well in the world. Just a lackluster story over all. As soon as I saw that then book was under 300 pages, I knew it wasn't going to be what it promised to be. What we absolutely needed to see their chemistry from the past and the story would have been SO MUCH BETTER. I needed to see them fall for each other and be pulled/pushed apart for the sake of Lennon's royal family. I needed to see Maddox's first proposal!

While we got Maddox as a touch-her-and-die man, and a protective Papa Bear, it was not enough. Despite the spice, the banter, the chemistry, this story did not do justice to Maddox. We needed to see him fall in love, not start of already in love. It breaks my heart to say how utterly disappointed I was is his story. Maddox Beneventi - Madman - did not get his due.

I knew I couldn’t love them all but this one & I did NOT get along!

We jump almost immediately into a semi-flashback of “action scenes” to explain how she gets pregnant when I’m still trying to remember who’s who in this giant universe. It feels like Gracie’s story, where we first meet the Princess roommate, is so long ago that it took me a hot second to put everything together.

After they get together everyone suddenly turns into a dick. I don’t really understand why he lets his brothers be so disrespectful to her without knocking them out- just dropping a bomb that he slept with her cousin when it clearly hurts her. Lost a lot of respect for him there when he doesn’t defend her.

Everyone’s family is just dickish. TBF I gave up & DNF this one, it grated my last nerve & I was so looking forward to this one. I wish the relationship had been different because the mafia & royalty element just didn’t mesh. And all the side characters really lost their charm.

In previous books the supporting cast has been such a big part of it, but literally everyone becomes the worst version of themselves here.

She's always been the one who got away. The one thing I've regretted not going after. The only thing I didn't fight for.

This one was a roller coaster! One night stand, surprise pregnancy, marriage of convenience, to a wedding and HEA.

I had a love/hate/love relationship with Maddox. Why? Why do these men feel like it’s 100% ok to fuck hundreds of women when they can’t have the one they want? I’m over manwhore MMCS. Seriously, I went from adoring Maddox to loathing him in the course of one chapter. And I couldn’t believe that Lennon just brushed it off so easily. Who the hell wants to hear that her first love fucked tons of women but “only saw your face”? Barf. (It’s even worse when the girl saved herself.)

I do need to say that by the end, I did love him again. Who can’t love a man who dotes on his wife and child the way he does? Willing to burn the whole world down to protect them. I did want him to go guns blazing but he had even more diabolical plans. Don’t fuck with those he loves.

Mixed burn, the angst of this MF romance hits hard but leads to a great HEA. As part of the interconnected Red Lips and White Lies series, this could be read as a complete standalone.

Thanks to Valentine PR and Bella Matthews for the review copy.

ARC review 💗

A mafia prince and a real princess? Bella did it. And she did it perfectly.

This book was fabulous from start to finish. Like, is it even possible to write a story about a mafia prince and a real-life royal princess and make it work? Yes. Bella did it. And not only did she do it—she nailed it.

I wish I could physically show her how I’m feeling right now: standing up, clapping… well, figuratively, because I’m writing this rovio (review, for the uninitiated). But that’s how intense this reading experience was. Maddox and Lennon? Absolute perfection.

From their first “almost-romance” moment—when it just wasn’t the right time—to the moment when their time finally came? I LOVED IT.
Maddox… let me breathe. Reading him felt like reading Sam all over again. And Sam is in my top 3 male characters written by Bella. So if you’re craving a story with that Sam-like intensity and emotional pull, his son is what you’re looking for.

These are adult characters—25 to 28 years old—acting like adults. Thinking. Processing. Feeling. And for me, their actions made total sense.

But wait, there's more. We have it all:

-Family drama? Check.

-A beautiful baby? Check.

-Unbreakable friendships? Yup.

-Spicy? OH, we’ve got spicy. A lot of them.

-Royalty? Yes, yes, YES. Kings and princes who are very interesting.

Bella… if you’re reading this, do you have something you’d like to tell us about those princes? Side-eye. I’m nudging you with my eyes right now. I would love to read a story where Bella fully dives into royalty. That would be an entire era on its own, and I’d be so here for it.

What I also adored was how Bella made us absolutely hate one specific character… only to show us how justice came through in the most satisfying way. That whole arc? Brilliant.

The accident. The pregnancy. The plot twist.
Everything was fantabulously done.

I loved this book so much. And yes, it breaks my heart a little to know this is the last in the series. But what a way to go out. What. A. Finale.

So if you're looking for a book that has everything—this is the one. It releases on May 22, and you need it in your life.

Huge thanks to the ARC team and of course to our beloved Bella herself, for trusting me to read this gem early.
It was truly an amazing experience.

For the whole second gen series’s I did not picture Maddox the way he was described or portrayed haha. For some reason my imagination gave me Shia lebouf in transformers haha. But that is not the vibe.

I liked the accidental pregnancy. I think it was fun reading from Lennons pov. At the same time I think that there wasn’t much depth to her character like there was with Maddox. But I can’t give too much weight to that because she wasn’t super happy with her life at the time and kind of at a turn point. So other than being kinda sassy and pregnant from the one night stand, her ballerina persona was forgotten, and same with the royal one. But again *turning point* so makes sense, but I wish she kinda gave more?

I think Maddox was just what I expected after waiting things long for his book. Always knowing what’s going on with the inner circle and this newer circle from this series. I like that he seems wiser beyond how old he is, definitely reminds me of Sam’s book. I like that we see his architecture interests and business ventures. I felt like the spice was bland for what I was expecting as well? I found myself skimming through spice because of that. And I love that we have the scene with Sam’s inner circle. And of course lots of scenes with Amelia.

Overall, I think I enjoyed the read, but this one wasn’t super memorable for me. Coming from someone who loves Bella’s books and her style of writing.

Lots of love and thanks to Bella’s content team for this ARC🫶🏼

Lennon and Maddox knew they couldn’t be together, so they made the painful choice to walk away. But everything changes when Lennon discovers she’s pregnant. Suddenly, they’re forced to face what their future might look like, complicated by the fact that Lennon lives in another country and is bound by family expectations she can’t ignore. But I loved how Maddox steps up and is steadfast, protective, and fully there for her through it all. Their story is layered and emotional, with just the right mix of complexity and sweetness. It's an absolute must read!

Thank you, Bella Matthews for the ARC.

I am speechless! I cannot believe the series is over. I loved this so much. It might be my favourite. Maddox and Lennon oh my goodness I COULD NOT STOP READING. This book CONSUMED me! I loved everything about this beautiful masterpiece. The man Maddox Beneventi is. The woman Lennon Windsor is. The men her brothers are! I adored this book with my entire being. I'm so in love with Bella's writing and the way she crafts intricate found family stories. I cannot wait for what's next. Here's hoping Ryker, Rhys and Atticus get their stories too... thank you to valentine pr for this arc

I’ve truly loved every one of Bella Matthews’ books. The familial bonds, sibling banter, and just the right amount of spice are always top-tier. I was especially excited for Maddox’s story. Sam is my favorite, so I had high hopes for his son.
While the trademark family dynamics and humor were there, something didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I was hoping for more of that intense mafia “touch her and die” energy from Madman. It was a good read overall, but it didn’t end up being one of my favorites.

Woo - I really, REALLY don't think it could get any better than this.

The early angst, the character growth between the FMC and MMC when the FMC finally lets go of family tradition and expectation and decides on doing what will make her happy.

The terror of what she goes through at the hands of her betrothed.

The way Maddox loves Lennon - completely and out loud, from the very first encounter.

The way Lennon is accepted into the fold of friends and family. The way everyone rallies around her and Maddox when they decide to get married to save her from an arrangement that surely would have been disastrous.

The tension between her and Maddox until they finally give in to one another.

The panicked, heart-stopping moments when Lennon goes into labor.

The sorrow of her losing her grandfather

And the sweet, sweet revenge we actually get to see play out on page when Maddox lays out exactly what's going to happen to the ex-fiancé.

This book has it all. The longing, the yearning, the tension - the joy of a new baby, the satisfaction of seeing assholes get their just desserts.

I've been waiting the WHOLE SERIES for this book.

And I'll admit, going in I was dubious - pregnancy tropes are absolutely NOT my jam. But this book was so well written, I don't even care. It hit ALL of the highlights. It gave me EVERYTHING I ask for in a contemporary romance. All the niggly little things I usually complain about were addressed. It's as close to perfection as I could ever ask for.

I literally have nothing bad to say.

Okay, well. Maybe just the one - you sort of have to read 5 books before you get to this one. I know this series is a bunch of interconnected standalones. But the cast of characters is GINORMOUS. If you want to understand ANYTHING that's going on outside of the drama that surrounds the main couple, you've got at LEAST 5 books to get through. And because this series is a spin off of another, you theoretically should have more than that.

But in the grand scheme of things? That's such a piddly little issue.

5 stars. Matthews deserves all of them. Every single one.

If you have been an avid Bella reader, like myself, you have been WAITING what feels like FOREVER for Maddox Beneventi’s book. Side note: Sam and Amelia’s book was my first Bella read. So, believe me I am more than here for Maddox’s story.
The brooding, silent until he has something profound to say, with eyes on everyone guy. Not only is Bella giving us his story she is bringing back a character we were introduced to earlier in the series. Now I say this in all my Bella reviews because it bears repeating- Kroydon Hills is the the place to be, these next generation books are giving me life, and has me falling just as hard as I did for their parents. When I tell you my ovaries quivered during this book, my heart hurt, I swooned, laughed, and had all my pieces put back together you should run to one click. And, if you haven’t picked up a Bella book- what in the ever loving hell are you waiting for.

Princess Lennon Windsor has her life mapped out as per the demands of her royal family. Her only outlet is ballet. Which she will drown herself in until she has to marry- because her groom was decided long ago for her. No matter what her heart may want.

And, it has always longed for Maddox Beneventi. Years ago they had a strong friendship that could have been so much more but she pushed him away because of what her life demands of her.

Lennon is and always will be the one who got away. When Maddox finds her stranded in the side of the road in Kroydon Hills, a long way from her home, he cannot help but come to her rescue.

She wants one night free from the demands of what will be the rest of her lonely life.

Maddox cannot resist.

When she shows up again months later in Kroydon Hills he is beyond surprised.

Only that’s not the only surprise she has in store for him.

But, this time they will play by his rules. Because he’s not letting her go again.

MADDOX BENEVENTI. That’s it that’s the whole review.🫠🫠

This man was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. He and Lennon blew every expectation I had for this book out of the water…. So if you are wondering, I’m just going to say it! TOP READ OF THE YEAR.

This book was everything I love about romance as a genre. It had plot, it’s had spice, it had emotion and depth that Bella Matthews delivers flawlessly every single time. But most of all it had characters that were so easy to love and swoon over.

Can we also talk about how much I love the fact that this is a royal romance, because yes please!

✨ The Player and the Princess
✨ Billionaire Romance
✨ Second Chance Vibes
✨ Forbidden
✨ Accidental Pregnancy
✨ Surprise Marriage
✨ Protective MMC.

You know how we love an MMC that will burn the world down for the woman he loves, well I equally love a woman that will burn it all down for him as well. Let me make it clear, these two are soulmates. Yes, there is an accidental pregnancy, but honestly these two were made for each other and this baby just made them able to fight FOR each other.

Plus. There is a marriage and liberal use of “my wife” and I will melt into a puddle for that every single time.

You need to read this. It’s absolute perfection, it’s everything I ever could have wanted and more and I love them with my whole soul.

ARC Review

Tropes:
Mafia Prince x Royal Princess
Surprise Pregnancy
ONS
Marriage of Convenience
Forbidden Romance

I've been waiting for Maddox's story for over a year now and the wait was completely worth it! I could always see Lennon and Maddox together and their story was more perfect than I could have imagined!

Lennon & Maddox's was years in the making, from when Grace first introduced them to each other. My heart broke for Maddox letting go of the love of his life, but he definitely needed those years to grow and mature.

One of my favorite tropes is surprise pregnancy and it worked perfectly with this couple. Sometimes couples need a push in the right direction and that pregnancy was definitely the push they needed. Maddox as a dad was adorable and heartmelting!

We love an over the top protective MMC and Bella delivered that with Maddox. Even if he's not in the "family business" he never once hesitated to join if it meant protecting Lennon and their child! I never imagined Maddox being so sweet, but he was just perfect! Always being there for her and never letting her forget what she means to him!

Lennon is such a brave and strong woman! I did fear she would give up at one point, but with such an amazing support system, that was never an option. I'm so happy she stood up for herself and saved herself!

I was surprised by Bella's "little white lie" and so excited for Striking! I have no idea how Bellamy & Rhys are going to get together, but I trust Bella!

Okay, this book was gooood. I didn’t expect to fall so hard, but Maddox and Lennon totally pulled me in. It’s got all the drama, surprise pregnancy, marriage of convenience, billionaire romance, but it still feels real and emotional in all the right ways.

Maddox is that perfect mix of broody and soft, and the connection between him and the heroine? Chef’s kiss. The story has just enough tension and heartbreak to make it feel deep, but also those sweet, swoony moments that make you want to hug the book.

It’s not just fluff, there’s real struggle and growth, but it still gives you that satisfying, romantic escape. Honestly, I couldn’t put it down. Finished it in a day!

If you love messy love stories with big heart, this one’s a win. 💫

Personally, this was not for me.
It was a fast read, and I’m sure it could easily help you get out of a reading slump. But for me, this didn’t work out.
I think this was my first surprise pregnancy book and I realize this is not a trope I enjoy.
Also, without reading the rest of the series you won’t really feel the impact of the book itself.
In another note, unfortunately still negative, why is everyone pregnant or already with children? Again, it’s a personal thing for me, but i think women are made for more than just carrying and popping out a bunch of kids.

Finally!! I have been waiting for Mad Man’s book for what seems like too long! I won’t lie, I had high expectations for this and without knowing what I needed. It wasn’t exactly what I expected but I wasn’t disappointed. Not sure if I thought we’d get to see more of the Beneventi side come out in Maddox but you could definitely see notes of it in his protectiveness. Either way, Maddox was so gone for Lennon and this book was totally swoon worthy 🥰

I absolutely love the Windsor brothers and the easy banter. I think a spinoff or novella is needed.

I usually love almost all of Bella's books. But, I can not get past that Maddox slept with Lennox's cousin. It didn't matter that they were not in a relationship. It was gross, and her cousin looked like her. I didn't care about his reasons. I trudged on, but it was just too gross for me. Oh yeah, and he slept with about a hundred women in 5 years!!! it just ruined it for me. I wish I wasn't still thinking about it and forget the whole stupid book.

Listen maybe this is my fault for going into the LAST book in a series but aren't they interconnected?
I started this because I needed a accidental preg trope book and when I tell you, first off everyone knows or is related to at least 3 people like every bitch knows every ass walking around but I let that slide because I am reading a 6book series and skipped all the books to go to the last. Second the characters keep talking about their 'history' but I've seen literally NONE of it like couldn't we have done past chapter or something? like wdym I have to read the other book just to see why these characters like/love each other? Because these characters weren't even close to being 2D, that is how fucking surface level this was, and I get that it's a short book but.............can I atleast see them getting to know each other again or smtg? They haven't seen each other in YEARS so they have got to be different people or something HAS to have changed, like SHOW ME SOMETHING. Something I like in past-lovers/second chance romances is that they know each other so well so when one of them does something for the other that they know they like it's like'omg you remembered that' type of thing...............I got none of that either because it was just 'heres you're tea' 'oh u remembered' 'I remember everything' and then immediately 'I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN' but they gave literally nothing.

Anyways I fear I will never go out of order again, but I am a mood reader so WHO KNOWS.

Maddox! 😭 This man, I audibly shocked with everything we learned about him and Lennon. I was not prepared for them. My review will not contain spoilers, I want everyone to enjoy it as much as I did!! Just know that there is so much that we truly had no idea about.

I loved Maddox. He truly has such a big heart and was willing to sacrifice so much for Lennon. And Lennon was so sassy and honestly exactly what Maddox needed! These two together were a perfect fit!! There’s really not much I can say without spoilers — JUST READ IT!! Then come tell me all your thoughts 🤭

This just had so many amazing tropes and Bella absolutely killed it with how she had them all come together!! The forbidden? Y’all don’t even know how bad I want to scream about this one! And the way she tells Maddox that she’s pregnant? LOL I seriously love her!

I couldn’t even tell me you may favorite part of this story. But I do know that I enjoyed all of the side characters!! Learning more about Rome and Lucky was hilarious! The Caitlin/Callen scenes had me on the floor! And of course Sam and Amelia always have my heart! This story just had me in a chokehold and I could not put it down! 🫶🏼

I was so excited to finally get to Maddox Beneventi's romance, I feel like I have been waiting forever for his book. Bella Matthews did not disappoint! Maddox Beneventi is one of my new favorite heroes from this author.

Maddox has always been kind of mysterious throughout the series, and I just knew he had some type of secret romance. I was surprised to learn who his secret love was. This is a romance between the mafia prince and a real-life princess. Lennon is a princess and was close friends with Grace while they were performing in a ballet company years ago. Maddox and Lennon had fallen for each other back then, but she was set up in an arranged marriage, and she ended things. Years later, she has a run-in with him again, and they finally share one hot night together. Things get complicated when Lennon discovers she is pregnant, but she is supposed to marry someone else in the next year.

Once Maddox recovers from the shock of the news, he completely steps up and takes matters into his own hands. He does not want to let Lennon slip through his fingers again, and he is determined to keep her and their baby safe.

I adored Maddox and Lennon! They are one of my favorite couples of Bella's, and I loved their second chance at love. I am a sucker for a strong man becoming such a softie for his woman and baby.

Bella Matthews always delivers amazing characters with a huge family that steps in to support them. The found family is perfection in her books. I can't wait to see what she writes next.

Thank you to Valentine PR for providing the ARC.

I loved Maddox & Lennon’s story: they fell in love 5 years ago but with Lennon being engaged to another man as well as being a Royal whilst Maddox was a “commoner”, they had to part ways, until a ONS a few years later turned into a surprise baby👀 I finished this in a few hours because it was 1. Fast-paced & 2. Addictive! This book had the perfect balance of humour, sweetness, spice, & drama.

Maddox may be the prince of a crime family, but he’s such a gentleman & sweetheart! He has grown so much throughout the second gen books, & is now a mature, responsible man & devoted husband/father🥹 Lennon is funny, strong, sweet & sarcastic. She went against her country & her royal family to give her baby the life she wasn’t able to have, & for that she is brave❤️‍🩹

The chemistry was off the charts! The tension, passion, longing, & devotion towards one another made for such a lovely & enthralling romantic relationship. The NEEEEEED they had for one another had me squealing! Their little family was adorable & I absolutely loved the way Maddox’s entire family immediately welcomed Lennon into their family with open arms🥹

Thank you to Bella for letting me be a part of your arc/content team🩷

Mr 👏🏻 Maddox 👏🏻 Beneventi 👏🏻 LOVED!! Maddox & Lennon’s story is sweet & spicy, with all the tension and longing you could ask for. The right person, wrong time vibes were written so well by Bella.

I just adored the way Maddox wanted to care for and protect Lennon at any cost. As with all of Bella’s FMCs, I loved Lennon’s strength & tenacity. It made her vulnerable moments with Maddox that much sweeter!

If you love alpha males, royal romance & accidental pregnancy, then you’ll love this story! Like the rest of the books in the Red Lips & White Lies series, I flew through this audiobook. The narration by Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor was fantastic!

Thank you to Bella Matthews & team for the chance to listen to & review this ALC.
