Mark LeGrand Messick was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and has lived in a great many places since then including Missouri, Kansas, Idaho, Utah and Washington State.

He enjoys reading, writing, chess, playing the piano, messing around with HTML and marketing his books. He spends his days doing these activities while trying to find time for everything.
