WOW
I have been glued to my Kindle whenever I could after starting this book.
I read a lot of action romance books, and this was definitely full of action, the subject also depicts kidnapping, torture and it may trigger some readers. But there is warning in the book synopsis so readers are aware.

Ok what did I think:

Although I have read a few of the other books in the Mercy's Angels series, it was a long time ago, so I very much read this as a new stand alone story. And it's easy to get into the storyline without having read the others. (But like me, after reading this book you may want to read the others)

As the storyline unfolds, the reader feels all the confusion and pain when Gabbie sees her missing husband and he walks past her as if she didn't exist. It knocks her back and her usually perfect focus is distracted, leaving one of her team members injured on a mission.

She's mad at herself and takes time off to figure it all out.

When she goes off, her boss sends Daniel aka 'Bomber' to keep an eye on her, now Bomber has feelings doe Gabbie and just as their attraction starts to become something more, they end up in the hands of her missing husband, who in the years he's been missing has become a man Gabbie doesn't recognize, he is the devil incarnate. Within his grasp both Daniel and Gabbies lives are at stake, will they survive?

Oh.. if you want to know, then grab a copy and find out for yourself.

The story is intense, but the overall theme is about strong characters overcoming adversity and trauma. As the author say's in this book,
'you don't get over trauma... You learn to live with it'.

I became invested in these characters, their journey to each other, and how they begin to let each other in... even through the really terrible times, what they both had to endure, and because they survived and strived to not let it stop their future or their love I really felt it all, Oh what a rollercoaster ride this book was. But it is a HEA and I have really enjoyed the book. In fact I'm going to re-read the series as I want more of these strong woman and their journey to happiness from adversity.

I Know there are readers who have been waiting for this book, but it's definitely worth the wait!

This is a clear 5 stars for me.
I have been a long time since I first read Kirsty Dallas' Mercy's Angels series and It was just such a delight to revisit that world now.
Gabbie is pure badass.. There is no other way to describe her. She knows what she wants and goes after it with absolute determination.
Daniel is her trusty devoted partner in crime. Together there is no amount of trouble they can't get into.
When it matters the most, Gabbie quickly realises who has her back and who will quite literally give there life for her.
I wont go in to any more detail than that, because that leaves too many spoilers, but I will say this book was so worth the wait!!
Kirsty has taken two people who actually make sense together but have trouble seeing past their own noses to see it! Kirsty has written angst, lust and pure love in these two characters and added in a dose of danger, brutality and life or death finality. From the first page I was completely captivated and enthralled in the story and admittedly was up until 3am to finish it..
If you have read the other Mercy's Angels books, you will absolutely want to read this book, and even if you have not read them, you will still want to read this story!
Grab yourself a copy, you will not be disappointed!!

5* Highly recommended.

This story has it all. Action, romance, darkness and heartbreak. There were some VERY dark moments, and some that made me gasp and tear up. Some added light hearted banter, balances out this novel.

I had not read any of the previous books in this series, so it took me a few chapters to get into the swing of things. In saying that, I loved these characters from the get-go and will be going back to read the series from the start. I didn't feel lost with the story, having started at book 6, so it can definitely be read as a standalone.

What I enjoyed most was the unpredictability of Letting go. I was constantly surprised while reading, it didn't follow the usual plot development. I also enjoyed the characters. The male lead, Daniel was a stand out. Not intimidated by a strong woman, he was cocky and fun, but also warm and determined. I loved him for Gabbie.

Letting go is a must read for those who enjoy action filled romance.

This is the 6th book in this impressive series, and this is Gabbie and Daniel’s journey.
Gabbie is strong, confident, and determined, but when her husband disappeared, her world shattered, and just when she started to move on with her life, she sees her husband and learns about his lies. Daniel “Bomber” builds and detonates bombs, and in just 12 days, he was left a shell of the man he used to be. Can these two have a future together?
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, which is raw, gritty, intense, and powerful, with lies, danger, suspense, intrigue, survival, opposites attract, heartbreak angst, trauma, humor, light-hearted banter, romance, determination, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, thrilling, and captivating page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Gabbie is one bada** heroine who has had some hits in life. She lost her husband, and she wasn't sure that she would ever get past that, but little did she know that the worst was yet to come. See, he wasn't dead, and he's not the same man she thought she knew so it puts her on a very dangerous path. Daniel wants Gabbie, but she hasn't really taken him seriously, and their interactions are hilarious to be honest as she puts him in his place all the time. They are drawn to each other, and she was just about to go there when she spied her very much alive husband, and now Daniel isn't about to let her go at it alone though she's okay to do so. This story was action packed as it kept my heart racing cover to cover. It also had tons of heat, lots of fun with the supporting cast, and twists coming in hot so I absolutely loved every minute of it! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful book

I waited so long for this book and it was worth the wait! Excitement, suspense, spicy scenes, it has it all! Definitely a few moments that I cried, but I loved them! It flowed seamlessly from the last book in the series and had a recap, which was really nice. Now, I'm going back to book one, Saving Ella, so I can enjoy them all again! This series has gotten me thru some really hard times and gave me hope when I needed it desperately. Thank you Kirsty for all the hard work and love you put into Gabbie and Bomber! I can't wait to see what's next!

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

Gabriella’s husband disappeared and her heart shattered. She finally started to move on when she saw her husband and learned about his lies. Daniel is a patient man, but twelve days is all it took for him to lose his control.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a romantic suspense then you’re going to love it.

How do I even begin with this book? Letting Go was amazing! The banter between Gabbie, a strong and confident woman, and Daniel, a cocky, teasing guy, was my favorite part. While the novel tackles dark themes, the comedy balances it out, and the action-packed chapters are full of surprises that keep the story flowing smoothly. highly recommend all of Kirstys books! Letting go was amazing

I would love to read it but it’s been almost 7 years waiting for the release of this book. Supposed to come out in 2022, then 2023, now we’re in 2024 with no release date in site, super disappointing!

Letting Go is the perfect addition to the Mercy’s Angels series, seamlessly fitting into the world while shining as a standout novel in its own right. Gabbie and Bomber's journey is not an easy one—it delves into darker, more challenging themes that might be difficult to face, but the story is so compelling that it’s worth every moment. By the end, you’ll find yourself uplifted and smiling. Although it was a long time between Book 5 and Book 6, the wait was unquestionably worth it.

It took a long time for me to get this book right, both in my head and on paper. And the longer it took, the more pressure I felt to ensure it was amazing. It just had to be, because some readers began telling me how disappointed they were. In a world of instant gratification, taking years to write a book is simply unacceptable. It reached a point where I felt I needed to not just tell a story, but prove myself.

Letting Go had to fit perfectly into a series that means so much to so many people, while also standing out on its own. It was the first time I found myself doubting the plot, second-guessing the characters, and not being able to find an ending in my head. When I finally finished writing, I could only bring myself to let three people in. Three of my closest peeps to tell me if I got it right. Then, with their blessing, I began trickling it out to others.

Writing is hard, publishing is terrifying, but this was my ultimate lesson in listening to my gut and believing in myself. Letting Go is perhaps one of the strongest books in this series, and that's more than likely due to my own experience and maturity. It's also got a lot to do with the fact I didn't rush out and print the first thing that came into my head. Gabbie and Bomber deserved so much more than that. Mercys' Angels deserved so much more than that.

So, I hope you love it as much as I do, and I really hope you think it was worth the wait,
