In that Summer of 1874, losing their homes, wives and children savagely killed by Black Horse’s renegade Indian band who were terrorising the settlers and ranchers of the new territory, eight members of Company B, under the subsequent unlawful leadership of Captain Chet Fynch were driven to take their revenge on the perpetrators – without their US Cavalry Commanding Officer’s permission – and going it alone against all odds. Their trials and tribulations along the weighty trail they took in order to avenge their families, and the people they met who took up their cause - surprising and heartening them in their quest by their loyalty and putting their own lives in danger – but there was also those who had other agendas. Follow the band of the eight fugitives who strived to reach their safe haven to begin a new life and put their sorrows and nightmares of their loss and subsequent reckoning behind them without the fear of a bitter US Cavalry General’s personal vendetta catching up to them and taking it away.
