I live by the rules I set for myself, with one core belief at the forefront of everything I do…
I protect what’s mine.
With too many demons to face, and no direction in my life, I joined the Navy as soon as I turned eighteen, and I became a machine. A precision weapon. The elite of the elite.
On SEAL Team One, I did what was necessary to protect my country. I learned that I thrive under pressure in high stakes situations, and when I moved back to New York, I found a new way to channel the storm raging inside of me. At least for a while.
I trained to become a Dominant and never looked back.
Club Venom became my new home, my passion project, and gave me a space to exert control in my relationships without the messy emotions I left behind so many years ago.
I never deviate from the plan. From the rules. From the contracts. That is until I cross the line… for her. I’ll do anything to make her mine. And I always protect what’s mine. I always will…
I'm happiest when wandering through the unchartered territory of my imagination. You'll find me curled up with my laptop, browsing the books at the local library, or enjoying the smell of a new book, taking great delight in cracking the spine and writing in the margins!

I've loved each and every book in this series so far!!
Welcome back to Club V oof l love this club!! I was pulled in from the get go but this has been the same with every book from this author.
Friends to Lovers ✅ Kink ✅ Feisty FMC ✅ Dominant MMC ✅ He falls First ✅ Touch her and Die ✅
Well well well.....Felix "Flex" Navarro where can I find a man like him??!! A former Navy SEAL and also a partner in Club V he's trained to become a Dom....he's trained to become strict and won't take rule braking but there is also this softer side to him ( which of course every Dom should have ) he's tender, caring and gentle. Now we have Celest Monroe she's a single mum, who would do anything for her daughter and give her the best life ever. But she's stubborn lol which I believe most subs are....I am one myself and I can be very stubborn 😂 Celest is a submissive at Club V even though she's confident when she's there she's forever thinking that she isn't good enough to find the right Dom to love and want her for life.
Flex and Celest have been friends but something changes when one of them suggests more!! What will happen when an agreement is made.....? Will it test their friendship? Flex starts to fall and he falls hard and fast!!! They both think they don't deserve each other and some points I did wanna strangle them both lol but oh my were these two made for each other!!
The chemistry is off the scale hot, their banter!!! Lol!! I love a book with amazing banter and this had it! I loved the multi layers to this story this to me has been the best one yet!! There is love, kink, steam and drama....oh mamma the drama!!! I honestly can't wait for more from this series!! I wonder who's gonna be next!??
I haven’t read my fav type of books in a while and now that I’ve read this I feel like I’m home ❤️❤️ I truly enjoyed every single part of this story Flex and Celest’s story was actually so refreshing to read also after such a long time aswell. I loved the plot line and the storyline in the book and how it developed over time, it was just so good to read and felt so damn amazing to be back to this club. Hheheheh. Overall I enjoyed reading it and I can’t wait to read more of the author’s books 😍😍
Welcome back to Club V, of you dare to enter. THE ASSIGNMENT: ROOM 3 is the book I've been waiting for, and Eva Haining granted all my wishes. It was deeply emotional, humourous, heartfelt, and oh so steamy. Eva had me hooked from the Prologue and I didn't want to let go... I was addicted. I devoured it, even though it should have been savoured. It had my heart beating rapidly, my panties melting, tears ready to flow, and a huge smile on my face.
What you can expect: ✅ Friends to Lovers ✅ Steamy Kink ✅ Cinnamon Roll Hero ✅ Feisty Heroine ✅ He Falls First ✅ Touch Her and Die
Felix "Flex" Navarro, never have I ever wanted to know a character's story like I wanted to know this man's. A former Navy SEAL and partner in Club V, Flex trained to become a Dom, a role which ws perfect for this protective, dominant, authoritive man. Yet, there existed another side to him, one which was tender, caring, and gentle. He is the epitome of a cinnamon roll, mushy on the inside while displaying a rough, hard exterior. The man is sex personified; women would be insane to turn him down. Celest Monroe is a single mum who would do anything to give her daughter the life she deserves. She is a feisty, caring, independent, stubborn woman who hasn't had it easy the past few years, and is doing everything to improve her situation. Celest is a submissive at Club V and it is where she comes into her own, but lately everything has changed. Even though she appears to be full of confidence, she is beginning to question will she ever be good enough, special enough for a Dom to love and want her permanently.
Flex and Celest have always been friends, but that friendship changes when Flex suggests something more between them. An agreement is made, one that will test their friendship, their emotions, and the secrets they have held deep inside. Flex begins to fall for her, even though he feels he doesn't deserve her. Celest also begins to daydream about him, but she is hiding a secret, one that could destroy everything her and Flex are building together. Their chemistry is insane, their banter is incredible, and their kinky heat is absolutely volcanic. I adored how protective Flex was with Celest, she became vital in his life, I loved the time they spent together outside of the Club, Flex was more romantic than I expected, which was surprising.
THE ASSIGNMENT: ROOM 3 is definitely a new favourite of mine from Eva. Her ability to deliver strong emotions from her characters is second to none, and her sexy, kinky scenes always get my heart racing. I love that her characters have multiple layers that need peeling back before you get to see the person they are hiding. Of course, she doesn't hold back on the drama, which had me on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. Once again, she has delivered another book which demands to be read. I can't wait for more from this series, Ryan (the chef) has me really intrigued, as does Eli (the bartender) and Genevieve (the Club's Domme). Here's hoping they all get to tell their stories.
I absolutely loved this story. From the very beginning, the chemistry between Flex and Celest had me hooked. As much as Flex tries to keep his distance, it’s clear he never stood a chance—his eyes always find her the moment he walks into the same room. The way he watches her in the club says it all. He’s completely captivated, even if he doesn’t want to admit it at first. He just can’t help himself.
What really made me fall for him was how quickly and instinctively he’s there for Celest when he learned about her daughter. There’s no hesitation—he simply knows that they’re a package deal, and he steps up without question. It’s not just words; Flex shows up in all the ways that matter. He proves over and over again that he’s all in, not just for Celest, but for her little girl too.
Both of them carry heavy pasts, and the things they face together only add to that weight. But instead of breaking apart, their connection pulls them closer. Their love, raw and powerful, is what gets them through the trauma and the fight for their lives. They lean on each other, draw strength from one another, and it’s so moving to watch them grow stronger together.
Little Gracie has got me wrapped around her finger, just like she did with all the others. When she called Flex Daddy for the first time, my heart ripped out.
The Assignment: Room 3 is passionate, emotional, and full of heart. I couldn’t put it down, and I’m already itching for more.
This is Flex’s story and book 3 in the Club V series. Flex is a former Navy Seal and co-owner of Club V. He is a Dom-Master who loves his single lifestyle and craves the control it gives him. Flex is a player with a different sub almost nightly. He has no desire for a relationship and the thought of spending the rest of his life with one woman isn’t even on his radar. But one woman at the club, Celeste, calls to his protective side. She is sexy, gorgeous and secretive. All things that appeal to Flex. As for Celeste, she longs for a permanent relationship. Even with the dangers and heartaches from her past, she longs to be loved by one man. A man who understands her kinks/needs and will accept her and her secrets.
Is Flex that man? Could he change for her? Can they expose their vulnerabilities with one another,
This is a very heartfelt, emotional storyline. I would warn that there could be trigger for some, so please heed any and all warnings. As for this reader, I highly recommend it and loved every single page.
So I knew when I finished room two and I knew what I knew about flex, I knew from the first moment of reading this book that he was going to be my favorite. Flex and Celest rocked my world. Wait who are we kidding Helena she's a bad ass bitch and I love her story, her strength as a mother to do what it takes for her daughter no matter how hard. Love you girl. Flex worshiping the ground "His Girl's" walk on, his complete acceptance of Gracie from the first moment he meet her. Tears!! Then we get the I'll take a bullet for you, die for you, and come back to you. A masterpiece that you knew what you were doing to us. The brief sadness I felt for Jenna not being the FMC, you gave us the most heart wrenching love story that my sadness is locked away in the tiny bubble it lived in. This book deserves infinite stars
I had lots of compassion for what this MFC has been through in life and how much it wrecked her ability to trust a partner. Plus the MMC had worked so hard at building his no commitments play boy reputation that of course she struggles to believe his intentions. The formality of the dom/sub communication helps and hinders the process of their relationship. Without it, they probably wouldn't have a relationship at all.
The daughter and the mom were awesome.
“Tell me, Felix, are you dating my daughter?” I need the ground to open and swallow me whole right now. It’s like I’m back in high school. “Mom!” “What? You never tell me anything. This handsome young man came to whisk you away today. I have questions.”
I will totally be this kind of mom when my kids date.
I adore Celest and Flex and have liked their small cameos on the first two books. This book was good, I enjoyed it. I feel like they were just giving each other emotional whiplash in this book though. There were moments I had to reread cause I felt like something was missing but it was just their swift change of mind.
She wants to be loved and when he wants to love her she’s like nope. And he is this ‘against commitment’ Dom who changes his tune like four times in the span of a few chapters at best. It’s a wild ride. I enjoyed the spice and their development, just felt like it could’ve been smoother.
"Don't hurt me." "Only in the ways you enjoy." I've been waiting for Flex's book from the beginning of this series... he's just one of those characters who captures your attention and you simply fall in love with immediately. He's cocky, fun, sexy as sin, witty, adorable in every way possible and makes your panties melt. Of course there's much more to him than meets the eye, layers yet to be discovered and he reveals them to the only woman who has managed to break his barriers... Celeste.5 Deliciously Sinful Stars for "The Assignment"...a heart felt story that has it all.
Eva Haining NEVER disappoints! This may be her best work yet! The entire Club V series is a masterpiece and gets progressively spicier with each book!
This book takes you in a journey of playboy to protective and possessive MMC. The FMC keeps you guessing, leading to the third act heartbreak written to rip your heart into pieces and put it back together. Gracie Bear is an adorable supporting character that was absolutely needed in this story.
First, let me say that this book has all the feels. Second, if BDSM is not your thing, look somewhere else. I’m never quite sure how I feel about a book that involves dom/sub relationships. The concept always eludes me. That doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy the story line. And I really did enjoy this one. It’s not clear if the author intended to confuse readers by not quite revealing who Flex’s love will be…but I was definitely confused at first. I won’t spoil it, just in case. I loved every minute of Flex finally realizing he’s capable of great love. And what a ride!! 5 stars!!
This is the third book in this series and this is Felix / Flex and Celeste’s story. Flex is a former Navy Seal, who is now co=owner of Club V, and he embraces his single lifestyle, and craves control of all aspects of his life. Celeste is feisty and she brings out his protective side. This is a well written story, which has friendships, emotions, friends / lovers, touch her and die vibes, heartbreak, tension, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and heartfelt page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This has been my favorite story of this so far! Flex and Celeste have my heart! Their journey was by far more endearing than the others but still brought the spice. Who knew flex was able to settle down - but I guess it was inevitable. Celeste is such a strong woman outside of Club Venom so it was interesting to see her dynamic as a sub to Flex. Their personal backstory's and the culmination of them near the end of the book definitely tore at my heartstrings. The story and plot of this one were strong! More story over spice but I loved it all the same.
Overall Rating-4/5⭐️ Spice-🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Plot-3/5 Trigger warnings-lots of kink, BDSM, 9/11 trauma/talk of losing people in attacks, kidnapping, shooting Tropes-reformed playboy, bad/traumatic past FMC with a little girl, kink club
I love these books by Eva so much because they are great in between books. Just read a heavy book, read this, in a reading slump, read this. It’s lots of sex talk, spicy for days, but it always has a great story behind it all. The characters have substance and I really enjoy this series.
This was an enjoyable steamy read. There is also a lot of emotional drama near the end, that certainly brought tears to my eyes. While some of the kinks mentioned in this book certainly aren't my bag, I enjoyed it nonetheless. I do believe Celeste was in the wrong about not owning up to her entire past in the very beginning. To me it's hard to build trust in a new relationship when both parties hold back.
On the one hand, Flex is dominant, protective and authoritative. He knows how to follow orders and takes to being a Dom handily. On the other hand, he has a whole lot of caring and emotion just waiting to be explored. His struggle comes from the uncertainty that he is a man able to provide the support and the love another requires. Celeste and he discover far more than they expect when their "agreement" becomes more involved than the simple words on the page state.
First time an ultra spicy romance made me cry. But the love story was one that plucked at the heart strings. I struggled with the BDSM and degradation pieces (not my thing) but really loved how Eva was able to write such a compelling love story. The addition of the Jenna pieces, however, was pointless. I was so perplexed at the beginning about her involvement. It was weird. But overall, I really enjoyed it.
Tropes/Themes: ✨ Kink ✨ Friends to Lovers ✨ Heroine in Danger ✨ Single Mom ✨ Billionaire MMC ✨ He Falls First ✨ Dual POV
What it’s about: They both belong and adore this kink club. Having been friends for years, their paths have crossed, but suddenly one night he sees her in the big room and he’s like, fuck….. why haven’t I realized how amazing she is before? So they decide to be FwB, but when does that actually work out?
My Review: Ate this shit up. Give me a kink club, dom/sub and a will they won't they vibe and I’m sold. I’ve read three of this author's books so far and every one has been a hit. I think what I find unique about her books is how she displays the unique power dynamics in a 24/7 setup, and how to the outside world it might seem like an uneven dynamic, but up close you see how much more complex it is.
I absolutely love every book in this series ❤️ Oh my God 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The only thing that made my eye twitch a little was the last scene at the club (iykyk), that was just too weird and "hell no" for me, but otherwise it was as 🔥 as I hoped it to be.
This book spoke to my soul. I related in more ways than one with the FMC and to say the MMC is amazing is an understatement. This booked embodies all the wants and needs of a single mother. And so far my favorite in the series, will definitely be rereading and about to be on to the audio book
