What do I think? This was my first thought:
Andrew is a completely skeevy manwhore with hundreds of women on his track record. He hits on them online, fucks them once, then ditches them in such unsufferable manner, that they sure as hell won't be wanting more of the same. An example:
This is on page 2 of this alleged erotic oeuvre and it left me with the above feelings. And alas, the protagonist of this story is not the thusly maltreated Walmart shop assistant, the protagonist unfortunately is him: the arsehole.
It doesn't get better. For some reason I'm expected to find things erotic which I actually consider to be major turn-offs. Such as banter between the skeevy bastard and his "lawyer" phone girlfriend which is at best juvenile, and neither funny, nor sexy in any way. Stuff like this:

To make long things short, he keeps thinking with his gonads only, mistreats her, forcefully fucks her (a no was never an option), and in the end turns out to . With what this thing closes with a cliffhanger.
This was the singularly most unerotic book I had the misfortune reading this year. Someone suggested such stories are about "redemption of badasses", well, such manwhores are not redeemable in my book. Regardless of whatever happened before, or whatever they do afterwards. Unless they turn to working as missionaries in Zaire and caring for Ebola victims for the rest of their lives I really don't see any redeeming happening.

My cock has an appetite. That is the first line of the blurb. Once I saw that, I thought I have to read this book! I’m so glad I did! It was very much on the short side, but it was great! Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long for the next installment! Especially after that ending!

Andrew Hamilton has rules. He has these rules for a reason. He’s an attorney who is busy and not interested in a relationship. He meets women, most of the time online. He has dinner with them, then sexy with them and thats it. They know the score going in. On a different website, one for lawyers only, he does however develop an unlikely friendship over the phone with a 27 year old lawyer named ‘Alyssa’. He is intruged by her and wants to meet. I loved all their phone convos.
“Is Alyssa your real name?’

The fact that Andrew is a lawyer didn't hurt either. It will hurt when I won't find him and his piercing blue eyes in my future job interviews, but that's a different story.

This book was outstanding! I can't wait for the next installment! For such a short read, the connection to the characters and the progression of the story was incredibly natural and didn't seem rushed at all, unlike most. This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more of her work. The story is well-written and absolutely hilarious. The author was able to create an angsty, steamy, sexy story that was entertaining and believable, in a way that most full-length novels are not. It ends with a huge cliffhanger, so I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series. I'm an addict for sure.

FIVE ANDREW HAMILTON STARS.

A standing ovation please for the talented, Whitney Gracia Williams. That is exactly how a novella series should be done. 'Reasonable Doubt' is without question a phenomenal start to this ongoing series and I'm left with a desperate need for the next part to be released. This is one of those stories that had me hooked from the prologue and I can't wait to see what else this author has got planned. Admitedly I can't help but fall for a dirty talking character and like all my fellow addicts I've now joined that long line of readers who fell for the charms of Mr Andrew Hamilton. He was hot and sexy and sweet and flirty and most of all he had his arsehole persona working a charm throughout the 78 pages of this novella. Every twat needs a beauty and joyfully I can report that the storyline god's have been smiling down on Miss Williams because this author delivered a perfect heroine to complete a duo that I have fallen for. A standing ovation please for the talented, Whitney Gracia Williams. That is exactly how a novella series should be done. 'Reasonable Doubt' is without question a phenomenal start to this ongoing series and I'm left with a desperate need for the next part to be released. This is one of those stories that had me hooked from the prologue and I can't wait to see what else this author has got planned. Admitedly I can't help but fall for a dirty talking character and like all my fellow addicts I've now joined that long line of readers who fell for the charms of Mr Andrew Hamilton. He was hot and sexy and sweet and flirty and most of all he had his arsehole persona working a charm throughout the 78 pages of this novella. Every twat needs a beauty and joyfully I can report that the storyline god's have been smiling down on Miss Williams because this author delivered a perfect heroine to complete a duo that I have fallen for. Reasonable Doubt is a short novella that needs to be devoured and adored. It’s about a girl called Alyssa and a high profile lawyer who has a penchant for blonde curvy women. He meets them anonymously online, chats and then... Dinner, sex and no repeat.
The main characters are fabulous!
Andrew Hamilton is, "...as sexy as fuck.” Enigmatic, charismatic, and divine, you’ll want to eat him up and rescue him all in one go. He needs control. He needs truth. He needs only one thing from the women he encounters.
Alyssa is sassy, she has an adorable sarcastic sense of humour and irony to her personality; she's so very easy to like and just the type of girl I’d want to be friends with. She has a sensible career path and a dream.
This story begins on a high, I was mesmerized by Andrew’s voice and storytelling. Ms Williams presents us with characters who have depth and a story you NEED to hear. She brings Andrew and 'Alyssa' together in a way that's captivating and exciting. She creates a recipe for HOTNESS and I felt the heat intensely.
By the end of this tasty novella, I was hooked, completely sucked into their world and wanted more!! So. Much. More!
There's still so much to discover about the man that is Andrew Hamilton.
I devoured Reasonable Doubt without reading the blurb or many reviews, and I'm so glad, because I feel even the synopsis gives a little too much away. If a friend of mine tells me there's a dirty talker in the book, what do I do? That's right, I one-click right away. So I did. And let me just tell you, this book was uber-hot.
A successful lawyer, Andrew Hamilton doesn't waste his time on relationships, he finds women online and sleeps with them. He has simple rules: One dinner. One night. No repeats. This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less. And he hates liars. While searching for one of his conquests he accidently meets Alyssa and somehow they become virtual friends. They constantly chat, talk on the phone, exhchange messages and emails but they never meet in person. Although this is only friendship, there's always this sexy banter between them. After six months Andrew starts pressing on Alyssa to see each other in reality but she refuses to go there, and she has good reasons to deny since Andrew doesn't tolerate liars. She is supposed to be a lawyer, she is not supposed to be his type, she is supposed to be unattractive. Only, Alyssa is not those things. And when Andrew finds out the truth he is confused and royally pissed (and yes thanks to it we have some angry sex in here). He tries to cut Alyssa off but at the same time can't stop thinking about her and starts to doubt his "one time" rules.
I loved the writing and the characters. Andrew is intelligent, funny and very, very alpha male. While Alyssa being young and unexperienced, when things get messy, she knows how to stand her ground. Needless to say they are crazy hot together.
All said, if you want some sizzling, scorching, super sexy read, go and grab this one, you won't regret. Let me just give you few examples.

First of all, HUGE thanks to Tony for this awesome rec!
Second, this is my first time reading WGW's work but it certainly won't be the last! I loved everything about this novella - the dialogue was witty and sexy! The storyline, even though maybe a bit predictable was great and nicely done! I am hooked! Need book 2 ASAP!
I will try and do a full review later when I am not on my iPad but bottom line is, this is what I call a 'great bang for your buck' (literally!) type book!

This was a decent read. I wasn't expecting anything from this book, so at least I laughed and enjoyed it more than I expected😂
There is no big plot and the author doesn't add any unnecessary drama (imo) as it is a short story. If you want to read something quick and fast paced, this book is for you.

Ich mochte die Sprache nicht, die heißen Szenen haben mich auch nicht angesprochen, und der männliche Charakter war mir sehr unsympathisch.

4.5 STARS!!
Okay...THAT WAS HOT! Don't even ask me why these jilted assholes interest me, I don't know! Probably nothing to be proud of anyway!
But this was a spicy and hot little novella that proves great things come in small packages! The first in a series of three, RD was a fast paced and scorching read. Andrew is all about the one-nighters. His MO: Wine em' and dine them.
Screw em' and leave em'.
It's working so far and for reasons we don't quite know yet, Andrew is escaping from a horrible past, possibly a horrible love gone bad. He doesn't tolerate relationships and will NEVER, EVER tolerate a liar. So quick, no work one night stints do him just fine. He's also been speaking to a woman, Alyssa, on a lawyers forum meant to connect people of that profession. She describes herself as unattractive but he wants her. Badly. Though he's never met her...yet.
Until a new intern is hired at his law firm and everything is blown out the window! Talk about ruining the best laid plans!

REASONABLE DOUBT: VOLUME 1 was quick and very entertaining for 78 pages. It hooks the reader right from the start.
Andrew has rules about the women he spends time with:
Until one particular lady, Aubrey, piques his interest and makes him reconsider his rules. Unfortunately for Andrew she has her own agenda when it comes to him.
"I had no idea what the f**k just happened, and only part of me liked it. The other half loved it." Yes, Andrew, you summed up the book for me.

I’m not a fan of books broken into parts. I waited for this series to be completed and it was well worth the wait.
Whitney G writes witty and sexy books. I devour them and always want more.
Andrew is partner at a law firm. He uses on-line dating to find no strings attached relationships. He doesn’t have any friends, except for one. Alyssa is a girl he met on-line. They kept an internet relationship for six months, but Andrew wants to meet her. Alyssa is hesitant.

I didn’t know anything going into this book. I just knew there was a picture of a girl that was a ballerina and already that perked my interest.

Sexy Andrew, what can I say, I love the name. Is it the same name as my husband? Maybe, but regardless, Whitney G. always writes dominate Heroes. Andrew is successful, powerful and knows what he wants and he wants Alyssa. I love the way he talks the way he presents himself, everything!
Aubrey
Adorable Aubrey. She’s a young something trying to double major in pre-law and ballet. She wants to be a ballerina, but her parents want her to be a lawyer. I really liked this. Her character is unique, in the sense she’s soft with a harsh exterior. She doesn’t want to mess up the relationship she has with Andrew so she never intends to meet him, but fate has other plans.
Overall
Book 1 is short, but it’s jam packed with stuff. There’s awesome banter between Aubrey and Andrew, sexy steamy scenes that is off the charts and just when I think the story can only go one way, it changes direction.
I think what I liked so much about this part of the series is that it wasn’t typical. At one point I figured how it would play out, but didn’t and I loved it! It’s a fast, fun and easy read. The ending will leave you speechless and wanting more.

Short and Steamy.
That is how I would sum up this novella.
"Casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less." That's what our Andrew is interested in, and that's exactly what he's looking for at online dating sites. He is a lawyer who hates liars above everything. He is a man with only one friend Alyssa whom he has never seen face to face. But one interview at his place of work will change everything...
Brazen, confident, smart. I really enjoyed reading about Andrew, about his dirty mouth and about the way he was "pinning" for Alyssa.
However, this novella didn't satisfy my cravings. Guess I'm not "serial" kind of reader. I wished there was more depth into the characters, more plot, more everything. I know there is more to come, and I plan on reading next instalment because of that killer cliffhanger, but I would prefer to read it all at once as a standalone full lenght novel. Plus there was this very visible plothole that bothered me a lot but since it is spoilery, I suggest not to read this spoiler if you haven't read book yet - .
If short romance serial is your thing, go for it. I'm sure you'll find this novella very enjoayble.

The main character, Andrew something is an utter jerk. He fucks women everyday and different women and he won't fuck the same woman twice. What the fuck?!
And after he does his job with the woman, this is how he treats her.
No, seriously, how are people falling for that guy? You do realize one day he might have herpes or aids, right?
Andrew is a whore. A manwhore. Don't tell me he's not. He's super rude to EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON PLANET EARTH. And, if you're a pretty female working in his damned office, sorry sweetheart, he will fuck you right after humiliating you. And the worst part is, NONE OF THE IDIOTIC FEMALES REFUSE HIM!

Reasonable Doubt is just WOW!! This quick steamy novella has me imploring for more...I need to know what happens next. This is my first read of Ms. Whitney Gracia Williams and I will definitely be checking out of her other books. The writing was exceptional. Dialogues were funny, witty, sexy and entertaining. And I adore the characters. Andrew was just oozing with sexiness and Aubrey/Alyssa was lovable. Holy hell...this short novella by Ms. Whitney has me begging for more. That ending....ugh!! I need you to hurry up, finish writing book 2 and hit publish!
