I, too, would like to live in a remote Alaskan cabin with fanfiction Draco Malfoy. Sue me 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I say this is one of the most emotionally destroying, heart warming, tear wrenching, jaw dropping, heart skipping, healing piece of work I can remember reading- it's an understatement.
Oh. My. Goodness. The. Perfection.
The way this author weaves a web of Draco and Hermiones past using events from the books but also doesn't hold back from absolutely putting them through hell is absolute perfection.
I love love love love the connection they have and being able to watch their friendship grow in the come and go room and watch as love blossoms only for them to be ripped apart for years then finally reunited as broken pieces and heal each other.
This is by far the best fan fic of them I've ever read. It makes so much sense thar even after Voldemort dies the war goes on. And I really like how the author makes it real. She doesn't make Hermione the perfect heroin who has herself together and perfectly brave and sensible. Anyone who goes through a war changes and this portrays it perfectly. Seeing Hermiones grief and complete break down really changes how you see her.
I very rarely ever read fan fics- only if they are really good- and this is by far the best one I have ever laid my eyes on seriously kill me now because even normal books are now destroyed to me.
I really wish some of these could be published because it really needs more readers than it has.

There's a couple smut scenes and mentions of past sex but you can skip over it without really missing anything.
Blood, gore, murder, and violence

READ IT‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

A refreshingly realistic take on post war battle of hogwarts. There is so much healing, understanding and love.

I really enjoyed the jumps between past and present and don’t think they slowed the story down at all.

This fic stars an A+ pining Draco and fucking badass Hermione. Love love loved it!

What is grief, but love persevering?

PICTURE THIS -
You (Draco) + Me (me frfr) + the Room of Requirement that includes a fireplace (?!?!) = HEA baby

This story was actually so beautifully written. I loved the duel timelines and the way the author painted a picture that was not black and white, but so many shades of grey! I am a sucker for a hidden Dramione romance in Hogwarts that picks up later in life! Their love is 5ever!!!!

I had to DNF this one because the pacing felt rushed and the character dynamics didn’t make sense. One minute she’s punching Draco, and the next she’s tending to his wounds? It just didn’t feel believable, and the characters seemed off the whole time. I couldn’t stay invested.

It was well written. I really liked the different timelines, but found the current one without much Dramione action lacking/boring. The end reminded me of a reverse Manacled.
