Stay tuned for Love and Fear - A Heart's Invitation. This captivating romance series consists of three chapters.

Chapter ONE

Kyouko, 26, is a daycare worker who quietly watches as her friends and colleagues find love and settle down, while she remains alone with no sign of romance in sight. Each day, she takes care of children, and every night she wonders if love will ever come her way.

One day, on a whim, Kyouko decides to attend a mixer after being invited by a colleague. There, she meets Yuusuke, a self-proclaimed unmotivated government employee. When Kyouko drinks a little too much, Yuusuke steps in to take care of her, making her think he's a kind and considerate person. But just as Kyouko starts to feel safe around him, Yuusuke's attitude suddenly changes, revealing a side of him that catches Kyouko completely off guard.

As Kyouko's body relaxes and she begins to open up to this man she just met, she can't help but wonder if she's making a mistake. Part of her wants to let go of her fears, but another part is terrified that he might take advantage of her.

Caught between the desire to be loved and the fear of getting hurt, Kyouko and Yuusuke must navigate the complicated waters of their emotions. Will love be strong enough to break down the walls between them and bring them together?

Ok.....this is NOT what I thought it was. This was a TBR jar pick and it was very...yeah, NOT what I was expecting. But I finished it, it was easy to read? Look at? Kind of...? This was a manga so it is read from right to left and once you get the hang of it then it goes pretty quick. I felt like, for a graphic novel, there was a LOT of extra...exclamations in there. That's all I will say. I will not be reading the next one.
