I actually read the 5th edition. I read the introduction about all different aspects of Caribbean life and tourism in general, then skipped to the places where I was actually visiting. I wish there had been more about the Central America stops on our Western Caribbean cruise, but otherwise it was a great travel guide.
I was hoping for something more from this book, what I really wanted was a bit of information on every island and recommendations of things to do. In the end I found this information online instead, and I doubt I'll waste suitcase space on taking this with me
Another vacation book finished well after the vacation.......great information before the trip though! We'll get more mileage out of this read on our next trip!
