An Urgent Message For Humanity: Received During A Groundbreaking Scientific Mediumship Research Project From The Spirit Realm

Rate this book
A scientific team comprising a neuroscientist, forensic psychiatrist, attorney, and a science-trained medium embarked on a groundbreaking journey. They interviewed 19 mediums, each with unique abilities, to delve into the urgent questions about humanity’s spiritual development. These questions, formulated by the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies (BICS), challenged the spiritual world to assess humanity’s spiritual progress since the time of Allan Kardec (1857). The questions explore whether humans have progressed spiritually in the past 167-plus years, and if not, who is to blame? Has the spirit world failed humanity, or have humans failed, either by themselves, sabotage, or impediments by corrupted spirits and earthbound entities? One underlying concern is whether humanity’s technology has outstripped its spiritual development, placing itself at risk of extinction.
The mediums contacted the highest spiritual entities, including The I AM, St. James, and Allan Kardec, to address these questions.
The scientists took a revolutionary approach to interviewing mediums by encoding the questions as numbers and then presenting the numbers to the mediums as questions. The mediums demonstrated proficiency at Spiritual Sight, an advanced form of the US Military Intelligence Services remote viewing protocol. Additionally, they had to demonstrate the ability to shift the flow of electrons in a transistor with their minds. An attorney observed the interviews and a forensic psychiatrist assessed the mediums.
The findings revealed that although humans have failed to make significant progress in the past 167-plus years, failure is an essential component of progress. The spirits acknowledged that spiritual progress is often a roller coaster, as wars and catastrophes are often essential learning experiences, yet humanity is currently “upside down on the roller coaster.”
The spirit world firmly states and presents evidence that mankind is solely to blame for the current situation. They have consistently provided spiritual guidance, such as the Ten Commandments. They sent prophets, religious leaders, and enlightened individuals such as Martin Luther King Jr. On a personal level, they inspire, nudge, cajole, and manipulate humans to achieve spiritual progress on a daily basis. They cheer humanity on and are partners in their spiritual evolution.
The entities contacted provided numerous specific examples of their interventions, from inspiring the scientific advancements of the Enlightenment to creating an Ice Age to move humans around the globe. They stated that they inspired the technology of the Iron Age to create the cultural conditions that directly led to the Axial Age, the birth of the great religions.
However, they typically play the “hands-off” role of parents watching their child learn to walk. Although repeated failure is part of the process, parents will intervene when safety is an issue. As one entity said while showing an image of two women driving a car purposely off a “That is what free will can bring you.”
They explained that Earth is a learning center or spiritual school in which benevolent entities expertly and subtly guide human existence. Death is one of the greatest agents in promoting spiritual development, which permits the soul to rest and reflect on what it learned.
This understanding of reality challenges prevailing attitudes towards life and death, advocates for a reassessment of humanity’s interaction with the unseen, and emphasizes the importance of deep reflection on how spiritual forces influence human beings. Death is not to be feared—far from it. It is an important mechanism for spiritual growth and often the only time spent reflecting on what has been learned spiritually.

The premise of using mediumship and remote viewing to ask the other side (TOS) questions relating to the current state of humanity was very intriguing however there were several areas that felt flawed in the execution of this experiment.

While tremendous care, and a lengthy explanation went into the selection of the 19 mediums, they only drew mediums from two locations, Indiana and South Carolina. Even though they mentioned that the team conducting this study is known for their “scientific rigor and intellectual agnosticism”, they drew their selection of mediums from highly conservative and religious regions in the United States. This will lead to highly filtered, religiously biased results. I would have liked to see this study drawn from a broader and more diverse pool.

But… the questions they asked the mediums also seem to be problematic.

The four questions, though seemingly very different on paper, were generally the same question but asked in a different way. These questions were heavily focused on blame. Do we blame TOS or Humanity for our current situation?

I think better questions could have been asked.

Another issue, when the mediums seemed on the right track, the handler revealed the question asked. Originally, the questions were converted into remote viewing coordinates and supplied to the mediums as a string of numbers. Revealing the question during this process is kind of tossing the whole remote viewing portion out of the picture, and the questions asked is enough context for anyone to shed an opinion, a biased religious response, or a simple vague affirmation.

Anyone who has visited a medium, psychic, or spiritual fair, would not be surprised by the answers provided in this book. Ultimately, I felt the concept for this project was intriguing but flawed in many ways. Fleshing out the process and questions, and expanding the medium pool would greatly enhance this study.

This was the final report of a study sponsored by the Bigelow Institute of Consciousness Studies. The study involved using mediums to ask the spirits of dead people to answer questions about the direction of humanity and the part played by the spirit world in that.

All were asked the same set of questions, such as, “Has the Spirit World failed to enhance human spirituality on Earth since 1857 as evidenced by the dramatic rise in wars, violence and uncontrolled technology at the expense of human spirituality?”

To me, the collected and aggregated responses from the spirit world were often mutually contradictory and unclear. They reminded me of a saying that, "Just because you are dead doesn't make you smarter."

I was going to write about the many flaws in the research design, including the selection of mediums and the questions that were asked, but I notice another reviewer has already covered those points well so I'll leave it at this.

Excellent introduction and conclusion sections summarizing and the study and its very striking impic

Excellent introduction and conclusion sections summarizing and the study and its very striking implications. Suffering is a key feature of our world, death is a catalyst for humankind's growth. We strive to better ourselves through the dualistic illusion of helping others, not so much to fix the challenges and suffering of this world, but with the caveat that total destruction of this school is also possible - but to mind the question arises, is this a truly catastrophic outcome if we are indestructible consciousness living within a loving larger consciousness. I get the sense we can only stall our progress, prolong our perceived suffering, but can we truly harm ourselves or our creator and greater reality- the anser to me seems to be NO.

Unique study companionship and communication with Spirit aka "the other side of TOS

The scientific search and documentation is described in detail and can be a bit challenging but the insights are worth it it
