This is an amazing set that has a great mix of suspense, heat and adventure.
Jack, Gabe and Kennedy have an action, suspense and drama packed story. But don't forget the chemistry, smut and connection as well. I liked this trio and their dynamics. All three are strong and smart. This was a very fun read!
I was super excited to read this duet about two male leads and the fmc. Jack is practical who acts as a bartender at first when he really isn’t, he’s a mercenary which is definitely more dark and dangerous. Gabe ends up being someone Jack is hunting down, a traitor to everyone, but in reality he’s learned some truths Jack doesn’t like.
Then we have the fmc Kennedy aka Liberty who’s is a dancer for the bar Jack works at, the book starts out with jack and her already in a relationship for several months. She’s also a lawyer in progress, stripping to earn money to continue school.
There’s ton of spice, good story, and the relationships they all have together is thrilling.
This is a fun set of romances that took me on quite the wild reading ride. I had book one already but love that the whole set is together now for binge reading ;) I got hooked with Double Crossed, as I followed Jack, Kennedy, and Gabe on their adventure to, well, basically trying to stay alive. The author really upped the entertainment factor by including Clucky, the chicken. She's right there with them, throughout. Lol! If you want to read something not too serious, filled with action, humour and heat, this set will be just the thing. I loved it and look forward to what's next by this author :D
4.5/5. This book was so good. It was like an action movie script and a book mixed with a little bit of romance had a baby and turned into this. It was really fun, although a little predictable, but I really liked it and I would probably read this again. It was all vibes, definitely, but the vibes were good
DNF at 22%. I tried because I was curious enough to know where the trouble would lead, but then I changed my mind after I started groaning when I thought about reading more of it. I may try again in the future, but it just wasn’t connecting with me this time.
this book doesn't have the right to be as good as it is. what i loved the most was the already stablished relationship. that was like a breath of fresh air in romance 🥹
