Looking for a fresh start, Miranda relocates from Santa Clara to a new home near the picturesque Henry Coe State Park.
On her morning trail run, Miranda discovers the body of her neighbor, Burt Roop. The unfortunate label of “Princess of Death” seems to have followed her into the countryside, and she soon finds herself embroiled in the search for the real killer.
The list of suspects includes her live-in boyfriend Jason, the victim’s wife, and a mysterious real-life princess. Together with her friends Margo, Wanda and Lyanne, can Miranda find the murderer before another life is lost?
I am a lifetime singer/songwriter. When I realized that I would need to move to Nashville to succeed in country music, I decided to keep my day job and began to dabble in writing. Writing a book and having it published has been a lifetime dream of mine. I'm thankful to my agent and publishing company and all that they do to help me. .
There was too much detail in parts where it didn’t really matter, and then not enough detail where it would have helped, which made the story feel flat. It jumped around a bit and didn’t have much depth, so I just couldn’t get into it.
I also noticed quite a few grammar mistakes — missing words, missing punctuation, and in some spots it felt like parts of sentences had been pasted in the wrong place. It was distracting and made it hard to stay focused on the story.
