Fandom: The Avengers Relationships: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark, Clint Barton/Phil Coulson, Jane Foster/Thor, Bruce Banner/Betty Ross, Maria Hill/Sif -------------------------------------------------- Short stories from the Toasterverse, because the author gets panicky writing long form stories built around plot and has to finish something in order to function.
Phil has problems with these people. So does the Author.

Excellent -- I particularly liked "Phil Coulson Knows Tony Stark's Super Villain Name", so this review is going to be about that.
Tony Stark has only joked about taking over the world--ruling it would be too much work. Nick Fury isn't so sure he's joking, but in order to squash any such thoughts, he invites Tony to participate in a paintball game. All Tony has to do is steal the nameplate from Nick Fury's desk -- which will be defended by all Shield's agents, and his own teammates, the Avengers. Nick should have realized that Tony loves a good challenge and thrives under pressure. Coulson thinks Nick is crazy, tells him so and predicts that no good would come of it. He was right. Not even Nick resorting to cheating worked; Shield agents fell like dominos. Phil Coulson got to watch the carnage at his leisure, since the first thing Tony did was assasinate him ("Sorry Phil," he says, "Nothing would have worked if you hadn't died first." Phil was quite proud of that.)
Tony's tactics are hilarious. Not even Captain America trying to talk him down helped (and he was dating the man). In the end, Coulson gets to say "I told you so," Shield ends up with a tremendous cleaning bill (paintball, you know), and Tony claims the win.
