Finn Donaghey turned himself into the FBI to protect Carys Van de Berg, the love of his life. Now serving multiple life sentences, he can’t save her from the dangers lurking outside.
Carys won’t accept a life without Finn in it. While she plots to break him out of jail, other shadowy figures seek ways to take them down.
After Carys is injured in an explosion, Finn teams up with unlikely allies to hunt down the perpetrators.
In pursuing retribution, can he finally find redemption?
This is the second installment in Carys and Finn's story. This should not be read as a standalone.
This is a second chance mafia romance that is suspense heavy with open door, lower level spice.

I loved this series so much. The fearless characters, the powerful story about what matters the most in life under any circumstances and that’s family, the one you were born as well as the one you make for yourself, how each one will do everything and anything they think is needs to be done to keep everyone safe, especially in their job field and how truth you their believes they stayed.
The suspense and what will happen next just kept me on the edge at all times and the romance story was pure fire.
I can’t wait to see what the author has in the hat for us next.
Wendy Million just gave us the most incredible ending for the Donaghey Brothers series and I almost can’t believe it’s over already. Redemption is a fast paced story filled with suspense, action, love and romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
I’ve enjoyed following the characters’ through their journey in their chosen family. In Redemption we’re shown again to what extent the character’s are willing to go for each other and the incredible bond between them; Especially between Carys and Jay who’ve have known each other since Carys was a child.
Finn Donaghey is still the ultimate bad boy, but what I especially enjoyed about his character in this book is his commitment and love to Carys but also his development; He’s finally allowing himself to be loved and love. And Carys is still a bad ass woman who'd do anything for those she cares about and loves.
“When you’ve got something to lose, life is infinitely better and worse. You’re always on the cusp of having everything you want or losing it forever.”
I’d recommend everyone to check out the Donaghey Brothers series if you haven’t already
[Thank you to Wendy Million for sending me a copy in exchange for my honest opinion]
I’d like to thank Wendy Million for sending me an e-arc of this book. This is the third book in the Donaghey Brothers and Retribution was book one, and Resurrection was book two, I recommend not reading this review if you haven’t read the other two because there will be spoilers for them as this is obviously the third book.
I had some hopes for this book which lets recap what they were just for the context of this review:
I’d like to see Lorcan in this book but didn’t know if it was possible without getting the FBI and CIA involved and we didn’t want that. Carys, Lucas and Finn to be happy and living happily with Jay and Sofia and Lena. So those were my two hopes for this book and I got them both sort of. In a way.
Finn. This man sent me in a spin so much I remember when I read Resurrection that my reaction was this is why you don’t fall in love with the criminal characters because realistically they never get their happy ending and I get attached and I spent way too much time in the 2nd book crying. I’m happy to report there was minimal crying for this one. I loved Finn, I mean I loved him before but I loved him even more. Especially when he stopped pushing Carys away and accepted that he needed her in his life. I love how much character development we get from Finn in this book and we see him actively wanting to do better and I loved that. I also loved that we got to see more criminal Finn too.
Carys. This girl surprised me in this book, not the whole loving Finn thing but I didn’t actually think she’d make a plan to try and break him out of prison. Like honestly this girl just radiates power and doesn’t take shit from anyone. I love that for her. But she also has weak spots which is her family which in the end is what leaves her exposed.
I loved seeing these two characters together again, their bond, their relationship I just loved it so much. Both of them together they are perfect for each other so many times through this book I was like no don’t set your heart on happy ending it will get crushed. I’m happy to report I was deadly wrong about that.
Lorcan. So surprisingly, he was in this book with Kim. I didn’t think we’d be seeing them again and it was a nice surprise especially when it helped Finn get his deal and his sentence changed. I loved how much Finn and Lorcan’s relationship grew during this and we see how much Finn does want his brother despite everything that has happened. I loved that we got to see them make amends and actually got closer to each other.
I loved that even surprising Finn and Kim managed to get on the same page let’s say and although she couldn’t forgive him for murdering her brother they managed to find some common ground when it came to Carys and Lorcan and I really liked that.
In a weird way by the end of it we got them all back together and learning that family isn’t just blood. Family is who is there for you. I loved that message from the book it was one of my favourite.
This book was so much more than I thought it would be, the twists, the turns I didn’t see what was coming until it hit you in the face. Wendy Million is very good at writing her books in a way that you get the information when you need it but in a way that it’s not written obvious. I love the way the clues are written into this book. I was open mouthed so much through this book. I am really sad this series is over because I could just read books of them living the normal life and I would be happy.
I don’t want to go into the plot too much but just know the stakes are high and the twists and turns just keep coming. You are so much better going into this book not having a clue, actually it’s the best way to go into the series not having a clue. I loved it. The story and the characters are ones that are going to stay in my heart for a long time.
Before I end this review I just want to say thank you to Wendy Million, when I got to the end of this book I noticed that my name was in the acknowledgments as thank you to all your first reviewers from Resurrection. I did shed a little tear when I saw my name, and thank you very much. Mainly Wendy thank you for writing the Donaghey Brothers and their stories.
You continue to amaze me with the amazing talent Amaizing storyline ,fearless characters the plot was so good kept waiting to find out more. I like the loyalty and the family bond I enjoyed every bit of it of this book it's a perfect way to end the series. I cant wait for the next book you write
Thank you Wendy for giving me a chance to read this And give my review .
💥Crime Thriller Suspense ❤️🔥Revenge and Redemption 🗡Touch Her and D1e 💙Brother Bond
Review Well, I couldn't have asked for a more rousing, exciting, and absolutely amazing finale to this crime thriller trilogy. This deep, web-like family crime drama just grips you with its intensity and never let's go!
Each book was as tantalizingly compelling as its predecessor, deepening the FBI undercover angle, the double cross, and the sacrifice.
Finn is the focus of book 2 and 3 (and his brother, Lorcan is book 1), but the way all of the characters crossover not only seamless but incredibly balanced. I felt both brothers (and the fmcs) shared equally important journeys. And this book served as the penultimate reunion for them as they stitch together their broken trust into a newly galvanized brother bond that just touched my heart.
The suspense and crime aspects are impressively detailed, again, I liken this series to a Scorsese film, layered thickly with twists and multifaceted characters that you truly see as beautifully flawed humans.
You never catch a breath in this one..adrenaline rushing car chases, bullets whizzing by, moments of awaited passion (and perfectly tasteful spice, not over the top and unrealistic). This couple's love is put to the test, favors they're calling in, and shaky trusting alliences. Finn must tap into the darker side of himself he was trying to be rid of in order to save Carys and earn his freedom. Can this mission he's on and the people he's temporarily aligned with be trusted?
I was addicted to this series! It's a favorite hands down! It's plot over spice, which is what I want and crave! It left me breathless with its relentless twists and I just absolutely loved these brothers (and they're strong ladies!). The redemption arc of once anti-hero Finn throughout the trilogy is truly something to be applauded. This saga demands all your senses and places you in the action and intrigue of an unforgettable suspense drama! Highest recommendation for the trilogy!
Wendy Million has done it again! First came Retribution, then there was Resurrection and now comes Redemption. So far, there are three books in this series. I’m not sure if there are going to be more but, if there is, I’m in. These books are so good!
When I first read Retribution, I wondered what I got myself into. Not my kind of book. I said I would review it so…I read it. I’m telling you, I wasn’t too far in and I was hooked. I gave it a 5 star rating. Then came Resurrection and I had to read it to see what was happening with the characters I was so drawn to. Another 5 star rating. I heard about Redemption and wrote to Wendy to make sure I was on her review team. I didn’t want to miss out on an opportunity to review her new book in the series.
Finn Donaghey is the main character and his lady is Carys Van de Berg. She is one lucky woman. Finn is a bad boy and a hunk to boot. It has to be a great series to rope me in as far as I am. I never thought I would like books with the FBI, CIA and the PLA but I do! Give this series a chance. You might like it as much as I do.
I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest review. Thank you Wendy Million!
Being of big fan of Wendy Millions the action, romance, love and emotions that ran through this 3 book series was no surprise. It was the perfect ending I had hoped for after reading the first two books in this series!! It is a read you won’t forget and a diamond among the rocks!! The story is fast paced, action packed and well it just is awe inspiring!! Read them all!
Ms. Million has delivered the final episode in the Donaghey Brothers trilogy. Last, but not least, Redemption delivers the same heart-pounding thrill ride with a twist that I did not see coming. Ms. Million is skillful storyteller that will leave you wanting more.
Wendy produced another great story in the final book of this series. Finn and Carys’ story is full of action and pure desire. I loved seeing more of Jay and even baby Lucas. Even though we ended book 2 with Finn in prison their love story continues in Redemption. Great wrapped up ending for this series!
With a heavy heart I finished reading the last book of the series! Not because I didn’t like it . Just the opposite. It was so intense and intriguing that I couldn’t put it down. I will miss the brothers and their spouses. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions and events which will leave you breathless.Job well done Wendy! Keep up with good work!
There are no words to describe how much I loved this book. Wendy has written again a story of powerful love. Each character was superbly developed. The book was intense and captivating.
My favorite character? Finn. He is so easy to fall in love with. He is perfection. What else? I'm always influenced by covers and Finn is georgeous.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. An absolute must read.
I tell everyone that I talk to that this is one of my favorite series written by one of my favorite authors. There's a reason for that. Wendy continued this series with yet another masterpiece. Once again I have to say that the plot is great, there is amazing character development, and you get sucked right into the story. I honestly don't think there are enough positive adjectives to describe this book, this series, and this author.
Why did this series have to end? This was a well paced book that kept me up all night as I could not put it down. Perfect amount of romance, suspense and adventure. I felt so emotional when I reached the end. I absolutely love Finn and how we saw his character develop so wonderfully
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. It is a must read. The whole series is a must read. This one really brought the series home. It was a good pace with a great story line. I will miss these characters.
Redemption is suspenseful and a page turning mafia romance. The story is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Wendy Million. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and was blown away by the storyline. This novel is captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an enjoyable read. Redemption has a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking ending for the main characters. Redemption follows the story of Finn and Carys. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Carys and Finn as well as witnessing their story unfolding throughout the book. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely incredible and undeniably irresistible. I love that Carys and Finn have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read. I’m definitely going to be checking out more of this author’s work in the future.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Redemption cracked my chest open and shoved every emotion inside. The tension and emotion were dialed all the way up and never let go. Wendy Million gave us the ending this series deserved- raw, gritty, heartbreaking, and somehow still filled with so much hope.
Finn Donaghey is everything. Watching him fight for his freedom, for Carys, for love, and for himself hit deep. His growth throughout the series is unreal, and in this final book, he really becomes the man we all knew he could be. And Carys is an absolute force- smart, fearless, and unwavering. She's the kind of woman who doesn’t wait around to be saved- she makes the moves.
The action was nonstop- full of explosions, betrayals, and emotional gut punches- I couldn’t read fast enough. But it wasn’t just the high stakes that kept me hooked. It was the quiet moments, the stolen touches, the way love clings to them even when everything else is falling apart.
And let’s talk about that ending- it gave closure, but not without making me feel everything. It's the kind of ending that sits with you after you close the book, in the best kind of ache.
This series has had a chokehold on me since Retribution, but Redemption sealed it- these characters are unforgettable. If you want a mafia-adjacent, suspense-heavy love story that knows how to hit where it hurts and still give you something worth holding onto, this is it.
I love how this book ended the Finn and Carys story. I won't lie though I still want more, I don't know of what but I need more Lorcan and Finn. Yes, you do need to read book 3 after book 2. It's not necessary to read book 1 first, but personally I think your reading experience will be better if you do.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
💙Touch Her and 💀 💙Revenge 💙Redemption 💙Dual POV
"Next time you whip out your dick, make sure it's bigger than mine."
I loved how Finn's character developed in this book, but I wish Cary's would have had more. It felt like after she met up with Finn, she was just there in the way with not much reasoning. Same with Lorcan and Kim, I loved them in book 1 and I really wish they would have played a bigger part in this book. I realize it was Finn's story but I think it would have added even more depth to the story. Give us moreeee Wendy, please. I need more to the story. I thought Finn's jailbreak was great, I loved the questioning of if what was supposed to happen was happening or not. Just like the rest of the books, there are twists and turns everywhere you look to keep you second guessing.
I did receive an early reading copy from Ember Literary PR. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I thought this was well written and I enjoyed reading it I couldn't put it down. Wendy Million does it again, I always look forward to reading her books. I can't wait read more. This is the third book in this series. I recommend this book.

Redemption Book 3 of Donaghey Brothers Wendy Million
The story and characters, Finn and Carys, are well written and developed. I enjoyed the drama, chemistry and journey. Good read. I need more! This is not enough!! I cannot wait to read more.
This is a pressure cooker of a book. Whew!! The buildup to Finn and Carys reuniting is amazing!! He loves her so much that he went to prison for her. She loves him so much she’ll do anything to get him out.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
She’s a bada**, he would do anything to protect her! Wendy has done it again! I did not want this to end!! What a wrap up and great way to finish the series!
