Zen: The Secrets You Need to Know to Achieve the Zen Mindset and Happiness in Life

Rate this book
By practicing Zen, you will be able to truly experience life to the fullest. You will learn to be happier and more content. It is the remedy for stress, anxiety, and the pressures of the modern day world. The best part about Zen is that all you will ever need is yourself. No frills or extra charges.

When a follower of Zen wishes to pursue something, he or she embraces shoshin. This is translated to as “beginner’s mind” and it is the first lesson that you are about to learn. The beginner’s mind is one of the most basic concepts of Zen Buddhism and it is characterized by one’s eagerness to learn a subject as if one is still a beginner, even though he or she might already be at an advanced level.

There is an absence of biases in the beginners mind. Instead, it is filled with creativity, excitement, eagerness and hope. When one starts with a beginner’s mind in each of his or her endeavors, he or she does not set any limitations.

To learn Zen, you need to remove all of your preconceptions and concentrate on each new lesson that is introduced to you with vigor and keenness.
