Since then, he has been honing his craft by creating "unusually original" fanfics, which (he hopes) read like real sequels/spinoffs to the franchises that so many of us know and love. I loved this author's Sailor Moon fic, so I was very happy to learn they were writing a Charmed fic, and it doesn't disappoint! The story seems like a classic "what if...?" scenario at first, but as it goes on, you realize that there is a bigger mystery at work. I've always wondered what would have happened if one of the other sisters died, and this answered that question with a properly paced reinterpretation of the Season 4 two-part premiere. Honestly, I enjoyed it so much that I rewatched the Season 3 finale and Season 4 premiere, then started this story again from the beginning to compare! I can't believe it's not one of those officially licensed paperbacks lol. The writing is unusually good for fanfiction, the creative decisions are so smart and realistic, and they capture the characters perfectly! I especially like what they did with Prue since that's the big unknown, but the changes to Piper were very interesting, and because it's written in third-person omniscient, you get more insight into multiple characters. All in all, it makes for a lovely tribute to the late Shannen Doherty. The only real negative is that it's a novella, so it's not very long, meaning I'm desperate for more after that ending! Luckily, the author seems open to doing a sequel. Here's hoping!

I’ve always wanted a Prue Piper Paige version and felt that they could have been a great trio! I need more fanfics like this and I need the TBC!!

This was such a great read! I stumbled across this from another site that directed me to Wattpad where this author originally wrote the book and because I was always curious about others opinions as I read along and I like to give feedback I went to the source. I love how true to the characters this book reads and how things panned out. It's very well written and I can tell that the author gave it thought and consideration before posting it. Though it follows along with how season 4 goes it has a good amount of twists come up that you don't see coming but that you'll be excited to see. I don't want to spoil this book for others so all I'll say is that for anyone that holds charmed close to heart that is thirsting for more after binge watching the series for the umpteenth time (as I'm sure all of the fans have 😂) this is definitely a must read. This book does the series justice and I'd happily recommend this without a doubt.
