Books, travel and music are my biggest passions. Now I get to combine all three while creating contemporary stories with down to earth, real characters. From gorgeous CEOs, hot doctors or sexy rock stars, my characters are set within countries and cities I love although occasionally, the location is a combination of several.

Love and Fate is a very good read. I easily imagined some twists, while others took me by surprise, but I've enjoyed this second chance at love story nonetheless.

I'm so glad Loriana Cappello is back with a new novel. She wrote a beautiful, heartfelt and moving love story with characters that warm your heart.

This is Angie and Tommy journey towards their happy ending. They had a bit of a story at the university, but at that time Tommy couldn't be trusted with the women and his imminent success as the drummer of the Koolum Law, and they broke up. Years laters their lives intersect again, they have changed a lot, they have new responsibilities, will they find a way to rekindle their loving relationship?

I loved Angie, my heart broke for her and I wanted to give her a hug during her difficult times. She is beautiful and strong. Her life wasn't always happy, in result she throws herself into her work and her routine, but Tommy will help her to open up to th world once more and to give a new chance to love. I despised Tommy earlier in the book, but later on he redeemed himself being very patient and sweet with Angie. They have a good connection, an easy friendship that with a little of courage blooms in a precious relationship.

I highly recommend this book if you like something sweet and emotional. Beware of triggering experiences.

"Loved and Lost" is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar romance series by Loriana. It can be read as a standalone even though it is part of this series. It tells the story of young love and heartbreak, and the challenges the characters face. The characters experience real insecurities in this tale of second chances in love.
Tommy once loved her but left her when he was on his way to fame with the rock band Koolum Law and the promise of women. He's had his share of women and problems. Now that he's back in town, she's just what he needs. This time, he's determined not to let her slip away. This man made me want to strangle him in the beginning I was not a fan, but he does have some redeemable qualities in the end.
Angie once loved him, and now that he's back, can she resist him for a second time, or will she find the love she once craved? Will her past remain in the past, or will it come back to disrupt her happiness? I just wanted to hug this woman who has been through so much. But she is strong and doesn’t let anything keep her down for long.

This book follows Angie and Tommy, whose relationship starts off casually—though Angie initially believes it’s something more serious. When she discovers that Tommy is still seeing other people, she ends things abruptly, leading to a messy and emotionally charged breakup. In the days that follow, they completely separate, and although they move within the same social circle, they have little to no direct contact for years.

Tommy is part of a band (introduced in the first book of the series, which focuses on Cash and Callie), while Angie moves on with her life. She eventually builds a relationship with Callie’s brother and starts a family with him. Meanwhile, Tommy continues living the rockstar lifestyle, avoiding any real commitment.

Years later, they cross paths again at Callie and Ash’s wedding, but nothing significant happens between them at that time. By then, Angie is happily settled into her life and has no intention of revisiting the past. However, tragedy strikes when Angie’s husband dies, leaving her a widow with a child. Around the same time, Tommy’s life has also changed—he’s been married and has a child, but his marriage ends after he discovers his wife’s infidelity.

After roughly a decade apart, Angie and Tommy find their way back into each other’s lives. The story centres on their slow reconnection—rebuilding trust, navigating their shared history, and exploring the idea of “right person, wrong time.”

While the premise is strong and emotionally compelling, particularly with its themes of second chances and personal growth, the execution felt lacking. The pacing struggled to maintain engagement, and despite moments of potential, the story often felt slow and difficult to stay invested in. Even during key developments—such as their eventual reunion—the emotional payoff didn’t fully land.

Ultimately, although the concept had a lot going for it, the writing style made it hard to stay connected to the story. It’s a book with a promising foundation that, unfortunately, didn’t quite deliver in terms of engagement or impact.

It was just pretty forgettable for me unfortunately

Wow, this book had me in tears. It's always hard to lose a loved one, but to have a child on the way as well has got to be hard. That's what Angie is facing and even though she feels alone she has a great group of friends and family that are there to help and support her in every way possible. She went through a lot of grief, healed and became stronger. Tommy was a total ass when he was first introduced but he had great growth and matured over the book. He also went through a hardship when he and his wife decided it was no longer worth it to be married any longer. While he is trying to figure his life out and what is best for his young son, they move back to Braebeach. Although they had kept in touch after the tragic loss of Angie's husband they never went further. Tommy still has deep feelings for Angie and would like to have a second chance but is she willing and ready? This was an emotional ride so buckle up and make sure you have tissue nearby.

When Tommy and Angie were dating, they were on the same page of what they were, until they were not. If there was one thing rock star drummer, Tommy, regrets it is losing Angie and she moved on completely. Tommy can't say he has not had a good life, but he acknowledges he has made some huge mistakes, but having his son and now single again he is ready to move on. With Angie single and raising her son they reconnect and Tommy realizes he will never let her go again. Can he have the future he wants with Angie?

Second chance romance that pulls you in right away. It has heartbreak, drama, chemistry and wonderful characters. This was a hard one to put down because you want to happens next. I was surprised by some of the twists and turns but so thrilled with the end. If you like rockstar romance or second chance, this is one for you.

Every once in a while you need a good palette cleanser when you're reading... Something that has an interesting plot, paces and flows well, has characters who are mature and in touch with how they feel, and you know is going to have you smiling on the last page instead of sobbing. Love and Fate has all of that and so much more. I loved the amount of growth I saw in Tommy and just how much Angie healed over the course of the book because of the amount of support she truly has from her friends and chosen family. Loriana Cappello does a fantastic job of depicting 'right person wrong time' and what can happen when the wrong time becomes the right time. I would absolutely read more from this author.

Tommy and Angie have a love story that spans through time - they break up and go their separate ways live through some serious life events where they both become single parents with different life circumstances and that toss them together again as friends whose long ago feelings rise back to the surface again.

This novel can be read as a standalone but I plan to go back and read book 1.

Second chance romance? Yes. The years that have passed since Angie and Tommy went separate ways have led to a lot of heartache and growth. This one starts off with a punch to the gut and a ton of heartbreak. But it leads to something fated.

Loriana Cappello’s Love and Fate is a heartfelt and deeply emotional second-chance romance that tugs at the reader’s heartstrings. The novel delves into the complexities of love, loss, and redemption as it follows the intertwined fates of Tommy Graham and Angie, two characters who once shared a love that seemed destined, only to have life and circumstances tear them apart.

Tommy, the protagonist, is a rockstar with a broken heart and a heavy past. After finding success with his band Koolum Law, he returns to his hometown of Braebeach not as a hero basking in the glow of stardom, but as a man bruised by a bitter divorce and the overwhelming responsibilities of single fatherhood. His emotional journey is compelling, and Cappello skillfully portrays the guilt and vulnerability of a man who walked away from the woman he loved, only to realize too late the depth of his mistake.

Angie, on the other hand, has struggled to build a life for herself and her young son, grappling with both the demands of motherhood and the difficulties of running a business. Her resilience and determination to provide for her child make her an inspiring character, though her vulnerabilities shine through when Tommy reenters her life. Their reunion, tentative and fraught with old wounds, is beautifully portrayed. Cappello explores how the past continues to shape their present, forcing both characters to confront unresolved feelings and painful memories.

The novel’s central question—whether Tommy and Angie can finally have the life they dreamed of—drives the tension in the story. Cappello does an excellent job of balancing the romance with the personal struggles both characters face. Their relationship, rekindled slowly, is both passionate and tender, but it’s complicated by external pressures like Tommy’s high-profile divorce and Angie’s unresolved trauma from her past. The chemistry between the two is palpable, and the pacing of their romance feels authentic and well-earned, without rushing through their emotional baggage.

What makes Love and Fate stand out is its focus on real-life issues like parenting, career struggles, and the weight of past mistakes. Tommy’s relationship with his child and the challenges of being a single father add depth to his character, while Angie’s perseverance in the face of her own difficulties makes her a relatable and strong heroine.

The emotional depth of the novel, combined with Cappello’s lyrical writing style, makes for a satisfying read. Love and Fate is not just about romance—it’s about second chances, forgiveness, and the courage to embrace the future despite the scars of the past. Fans of small-town romances, slow-burn love stories, and tales of redemption will find plenty to enjoy in this heartwarming novel.

In the end, Cappello masterfully brings the story to a poignant conclusion, reminding readers that love and fate are often intertwined in unexpected ways. Will Tommy and Angie overcome the obstacles in their path, or will their fears and past mistakes keep them apart? You’ll have to read the book to find out, but it’s a journey well worth taking.

Love And Fate by Loriana Cappello is book two in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a slow burn, second chance romance between Tommy and Angie. It is a story about two people who have had very different experiences of love and marriage. They say you never fully forget your first love, it never totally leaves you and is always simmering away in the background, so what happens when you get a second chance? When tragedy strikes and those old feelings return, do you take it or leave it in the past?

He lost her once. He isn’t prepared to lose her again.

Tommy Graham is the drummer for Koolum Law and when they first started the band, music was the love of his life. He was having a summer fling with Angie, Calla’s best friend ( Strings Attached) who loved being his girlfriend. Just before their first tour he broke up with her and has regretted it ever since because he didn’t mean to hurt her. She was heartbroken to find out their relationship hadnt been exclusive and found it hard to forgive him.

The story jumps five years to Calla and Ash’s wedding. Tommy arrives with his girlfriend Chelsea but is taken aback when he sees Angie because he still thinks of her as the girl who was his for a while! She is now married to Scott, and is pregnant. Angie has heard that Tommy is a player now so thankful for her lucky escape. One week later all their lives are turned upside down when tragedy strikes. Angie’s world has fallen apart and Tommy really steps up, showing how caring and understanding he can be. Then another turn of events changes everything for him.

We catch up with Tommy six years later as the band plays the last gig of their tour. He is trying to cope with his continuing problems with Chelsea when the band is rocked with some devastating news. Tommy decides he needs to be back home in Braebeach and this brings him back in contact with Angie.

I loved the change in Tommy over the years and how he’s different man who regrets all he did in the past. The fame the band gained went to his head and he let the lifestyle ruin his relationship with Angie. Now he finally has a chance to put it right and the opportunity of true love like he’s never had before. I felt sorry for all he has to deal with but he proves what a good friend and bandmate he really is. Have the old feelings for Angie come back? Does she still feel anything for him and if so would she let him in?

“Forget who I used to be and look at the man I am now.”

Angie has tried to move on but is there a time frame for what she has been through. She’s confused over her feelings for Tommy but wonders if there is a chance of happiness should she take it, even if it is unexpected and with a person from your past? Should she go there again? She is drawn to him but feels guilty for wanting him. Trusting him again with her heart is hard so what if she can only offer him friendship?

Angie was lucky to experience true love with her husband, while Tommy goes through a plethora of emotions due to his sense of duty and loyalty. What this couple go through affects them in different ways and it was interesting seeing how they both coped, especially with the sad events. It was lovely how everyone supported them and they certainly deserved their HEA.

Calla and Ash are getting married. Tommy catches sight of Angie, the woman who got away. She is married to Scott and Tommy has a clingy girlfriend. Chelsea hints at marriage all the time, but Tommy doesn't think marriage will ever happen for him. While waiting for their plane to Los Angeles, Bernie calls Tommy saying that Ash has been in an accident.

Once in the family room, Max and Tommy learn that Ash's injuries weren't life threatening. However, Scott had died in the accident. Both men were jogging when a car veered off and crashed. Scott and the driver didn't survive. Angie, who is pregnant with Scott's baby, is devastated. Tommy returns to New York to break up with Chelsea, only to learn she is pregnant. A whirlwind marriage in Vegas has Tommy married to a nightmare.

6 years pass and Chelsea leaves Tommy and their son Ozzie. Thankfully, Tommy has a spectacular nanny. However, Koolum Law suffers another setback when Brett quits the band. The remaining members go to Braebeach to stay at Calla and Ash's beach house. Connie and Josh accompany the group. Tommy feels angry that Chelsea has made no attempt to even call Ozzie. Connie tells him that Ozzie won't take his mother's absence as much as Tommy would think. However, Chelsea arrives at Calla's house to attempt to take Ozzie with her. Angie arrives to pick up Josh and Chelsea automatically starts accusing them of having an affair.

Tommy meets with an attorney to set up the court proceedings for his divorce. WHen he sees Fraser at a table with another woman, he automatically thinks Fraser was cheating on Angie. Despite not harming Fraser, the man takes advantage of the situation to make a fast buck. Chelsea takes the story and tells reporters that Angie was a homewrecker and she was why the marriage failed.

Drama enters this book from all directions. Family drama involving Tommy and his wife causes tension to rise. I feared for Ozzie's safety when she showed up out of the blue. Angie's grief over Scott seems to keep her on an emotional rollercoaster. Tommy's patience is unending when it comes to Angie's pain. After Chelsea, I doubt anything could phase him. I wonder if Brett will ever reconnect with the band, even just on a friendship level. The stress levels of the characters are understandable and their resiliency is captivating. Plenty of romance shines throughout this intense novel. The hate I have for mainstream media is reinforced with the situation that Tommy and Angie have to face. I recommend Love and Fate for readers who enjoy romance novels with realistic problems involving relatable characters. This beautifully crafted novel easily earns a five star rating for me.

Love and Fate has its fair share of tragedy, anger, happiness, and love. The author offers up a story that has you rooting for the 2 main characters for different reasons. A book you don’t want to put down. As an introduction to this author it’s the perfect book to have you craving more.
Happily married, unfortunately doesn’t last long.
A loveless marriage, unfortunately that lasts longer than it should.
Those are the beginning fates of the 2 main characters.
She was the one who got away. Tommy never let Angie go, but he has to be a man and understand she’s happily married now. It’s his own fault but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t twist something inside of him. Upon learning she’s with child is his wake up call. He’s been coasting through life, but that’s not what he really wants. He wants what she has, love and family. But when tragedy strikes he steps up for her.
Angie lost her husband. Not that she’s willing to accept that he’s gone. She’s pregnant and alone, even though she’s surrounded by people. Of all people Tommy ends up being the friend she needs. The sound board for her emotions. Not only allowing her to truly forgive him for hurting her, but their friendship to grow into something neither of them ever expected. Now that he’s going through a separation/divorce she feels it’s her turn to return the favor and be there for him.
What neither of these 2 truly realize is that they still have feelings for each other. And now that truly know one another those feelings run deeper than expected. Unfortunately neither one of them understands it.
Will this be their time?
Will Angie and Tommy finally have their happily ever after?
So many questions and so many answers. This book time jumps, which at times I don’t care for. In this case it works. Well written with and excellent display of growth for both main characters it makes for a great read!

Love and Fate – Lorianna Cappello

This is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series, which follows each band member and their current lives.
Love and Fate has the perfect combination of drama, anger, grief (if death triggers you be aware this story does touch on a wife and her journey after), forgiveness, romance, and a few spicier scenes! Love and Fate follows the lives of Angie and Tommy while also giving us time to catch up on Ash and Calla’s life as well.
Tommy and Angie shared a summer romance which ended in a not-so-great way ultimately leading Angie to the love of her life, Scott (Calla’s Brother). Angie, Ash, and Calla were faced with a huge tragedy which pulled Tommy away from his current girlfriend Chelsea so he could be there to help his chosen family through their hard time. Tommy’s feeling for Angie start to resurface leading him to ending his current relationship, shortly after this Tommy winds up trapped in a toxic marriage to Chelsea; after finding out she is carrying his child. This very toxic marriage eventually ends due to Chelsea not being faithful, leaving Tommy to parent Ozzie on his own.
He moved back home to Braebeach where his friends (Ash, Calla, Angie, and the other band members currently live). Tommy never really lost feelings for Angie, however due to circumstances the timing has never been right. Will Tommy’s divorce and decision to move be the start of something more for Angie and him or will their timing never be right?
Crying, laughing, irritation, anger, and happiness; If you want to feel every emotion possible within a short time this is the book for you!

The first quarter of this book is devastating. However it truly does capture several different ways people handle grief. It has captured raw and real realities for some and pulled out some horrifyingly traumatic truths. Throughout the book Tommy’s strength, resilience and love for the people he cares most about shines bright. Getting over the death of Angie’s husband, Scott, destroyed her and despite how much he loved her Tommy put it aside to make sure the surviving wife of one of his closest friends was okay in the best way he knew how. He offered space when it was needed and always made sure she knew he was there. Dealing with Chelsea was a whole different can of worms. Marrying her when he felt like it was the right choice and giving her chance after chance to do what was right despite all she had done to destroy her relationships was admirable. It speaks to his character growth. Calla, Scott’s sister and Angie’s best friend, was the rock every person needs. Despite mourning the death of her brother she was there for Angie from the beginning. She always had the best interest at heart for her best friend and it truly marked what a best friend is. Angie faced what was thrown at her with grace. Sure she had her moments but I can’t imagine going through all that she had and be the best version of myself at all times. She went at her pace to process everything that had been thrown at her and made sure her obligations were tended too. She showed so much tact and strength in the face of a gut-wrenchingly heartbreaking situation. While Tommy and Angie were slow to come together their stories were unique and it was very worth it. This book is captivating and emotional.

5 Emotionally Charged Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Oh wow, where to begin with this review! Honestly, this story blew me away and was just the emotional romance story I needed. Loriana Capello has written this story with such delicate beauty and healing, she hasn’t rushed Tommy and Angie’s story, she beautifully paced it out, with elegance, warmth, strength and passion. Loriana Capello is an incredibly talented author, and I can’t wait to read more from her.

I absolutely loved Tommy and Angie from the start, at no point did I feel frustrated with their character or wish to bang their heads together. Their story wasn’t full steam ahead, but it wasn’t completely slow paced either, it was just prefect. They had both grown as individuals and they needed to see the growth they had both made before they could take that full leap of faith and begin what was inevitable.

I can’t deny I had a few tears with this book, which could be a little do with recent events in my life, however, Love and Fate is composed with beautiful emotion, and inevitably I think this book will always bring tears to my eyes, both sad and happy tears. Honestly, Tommy and Angie’s story is that kind of romance story and you will not be disappointed.

You don’t need to have read the first book in the Braebeach Rockstar series to enjoy Love and Fate, however, to get the fullest experience of all the characters in the series, I would recommend starting with Strings Attached, Ash and Calla’s story, you won’t regret it, you’ll be hooked.

Spoilers ahead 🚨

I read this immediately off the back of book 1, which followed another couple—Ash and Calla. I will be honest, this wasn’t what I was expecting, mainly because the pacing was completely off for me.

So, FMC’s loving husband (who she adores) dies in a tragic accident, leaving her pregnant with his child and utterly broken (the initial grief was written well).

Her past fling, Tommy, (I won’t justify it as a relationship—they were 21 and it was over in less than 3 months) is part of the band her best friends husband leads (Calla/Ash), and so he is around a little up until the loss of her husband, but not much. Then, without actually seeing it, I was supposed to believe that Tommy and FMC Angie have formed a close friendship over the years since their tryst, despite them living in different countries and being mutual friends (pull the other one).

Tommy has a wife who clearly baby trapped him, and she is not only vile but unfaithful too. He finds out.
Realises he’s always loved Angie… because of course he does 🙄 Angie is missing her husband terribly, but we are six years in the future now, so… fair game 🤷‍♀️

Look, I could go on but then the review would be as boring as the story. There was zero emotional pull between the main characters, I couldn’t feel the chemistry we were told they have, the angst wasn’t angsting, and overall, by the time I close this app, I’ll have forgotten it.

This book gutted me in the first several chapters! It was so heartbreaking that I wondered if I could power through the rest with the emotions that were running through me. I am SO GLAD I stuck with it, it was absolutely worth every emotion. You will be cheering for the 2 main characters for different reasons, and cheering them on as they grow.

Tommy had love, and he had dreams of being a rock star. When he wasn't sure he could handle both, he dumped Angie right before his band hit the big time. While Angie was devastated and left behind, Tommy was living his dreams. Then, they both had big life events. When Angie had been left behind, she moved on and found love and marriage. Tragically, her love was stolen from her and she was left to raise her child alone.

Tommy was living his best life and ended up in a shotgun wedding scenario. While Angie had found love and contentment, Tommy was roped into a loveless marriage with a miserable woman who ended up leaving Tommy and their son alone. Tommy returned to Braebeach after the band was broken up, and the story really settles in from there. It is definitely a slow burn to reach a happy ending, but worth it.

While there is lots of drama and stress in this book, there is so much growth, chemistry, yearning and fantastic characters to love. I'm really excited to see where the next book takes us.

This is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. This story is a sweet second chance romance. I'm not gonna lie parts of the book at the beginning had me in tears and were really emotional to read. My heart broke for Angie and everything she went through. I completed felt her self of loss and dispair.
This is a second chance romance which deals with the issues of grief, family, learning to rebuild your life and rekindling love that you thought was lost forever.

Angie and Tommy have a past. During the summer they were together but while Angie wanted something more Tommy just wanted something casual. So Angie makes the decision to leave.

Fast forward and Angie is now married and pregnant and Tommy is realising just what he missed out on by letting her go. Now realising the mistake he made Tommy now has to watch while Angie lives the happiest life with her husband.
Until one accident changes everything.
Now Angie finds herself alone and pregnant and the person there to help and support her is Tommy. As Tommy steps into the role of being a support to Angie what will happen when old feelings start to resurface again.
Is there ever a right time to find love again? And is this the chance that Tommy and Angie need to finally get their happy ever after.

Love and Fate is an amazing second chance at romance between a rockstar and the girl he loved but pushed away due to his insecurities. This romance has everything you could ever want in a story, from an exciting rock band with cool members to love and loss and, of course, regrets for decisions made throughout life. I love that there are so many great lessons to be learned from the characters in this story, and they most definitely do, some good and some bad outcomes but in the end, love will always win out. You get to experience what life is like for parents in the music industry and how there must be a deep-seated trust between both parties in a relationship to make things work and be faithful. There are some deeply sad parts in this story, but those must happen so that the characters may experience the life lessons that come with these rough patches in life. This book was well-written and kept my interest the entire time I was reading it. I am so excited to find the first book and see what I missed out on by starting on book 2 of this series. Happy book hunting my friends! Give this book a read, you won't regret it, it's an amazing example of fate winning out in the end.

Tommy and Angie went their separate ways right as Tommy's band, Koolum Law, is taking off. Fast forward and one is married (on the verge of divorce) with a young son and one is widowed taking care of her own child. The two reconnect and build a friendship where they can lean on each other for emotional support. Underneath it all, they are being reminded of why they loved each other all those years ago. However, dealing with a crazy ex, people out to make a quick buck, and a past filled with many emotions creates quite the hurdles to overcome.

I felt for these characters. Angie has been through so much and has grown and persevered while trying to heal. Tommy's dealing with his own troubles...bot in his marriage and with his band. These two rebuild a friendship that is stronger than anything they had in the past. I found myself immersed in their story and couldn't put it down. They are dealing with adult problems that make you feel like they could be someone you know. Can't wait to see what this series has in store next.

This is a second chance at love full of tears and laughter. Tommy Graham was about to hit it big with his band Koolum Law. With Tommy about to hit it big he feels the right choice is to break it off with his girlfriend Angie Knox. Years pass before the two run into each other again at the wedding of Angie’s best friend Calle. Tragedy strikes right after the wedding and Angie’s husband is killed. Tommy is there for Angie over the next few weeks and he starts to catch feelings for Angie again even though he has a girlfriend. Tommy ends up being trapped in a marriage with Chelsea. Their marriage is far from a fairytale. Tommy finally has had enough with his cheating wife and he files for divorce and takes his son Ozzie back to Tommy's hometown of Braebeach. Could this be Tommy’s chance to fall in love with Angie again? Did he truly ever stop loving her?
This book was AMAZING! I cried, I laughed, and most importantly the author had me feeling like I was a character right in the middle of the story!!

I missed the first book so I started this then stopped and read the first book and then re started this and man what a treat that was !

The first bit of the book was tough and I very nearly put it down but I’ve got a serious case of FOMO so I pushed through ( the life of a bookworm 🤷‍♀️🙈🥰📚)

Tommy and Angie were an item before he and his band hit the big time and I felt quite bad for her and then he still asks her not to weigh him down with guilt ?! What a chop !

Chapter 1 picks up 5 years later ….Angie is now married and Tommy has to reign in his thoughts at Calla and Ash’s wedding …..he let her get away …

Time and life moves on and Tommy is now a single dad to a real cutie named Ozzie but with a messy divorce looming over him and the band in a mess life isn’t fun at the moment .

Angie isn’t having it easy either and Tommy is a friend when she needs it most , I really kept my fingers crossed that they’d find their way to each other 🥰

All I can say is be prepared to time hop , keep your Kleenex on hand and make sure you have an ample supply of comfort food and drinks 🫣😉

Love and Fate (A Braebeach Rockstar Romance) by Loriana Cappello. This is the 2nd book in the Braebeach Rockstar series and I highly recommend reading the 1st book before this one. In the 1st book Angie is left by Tommy when he hits the big time with his band and event tells her not to make him feel guilty. What a jerk and in this book is set 5 years later and Angie is married and has moved on. Tommy is also a single dad going thru a very messy divorce and the band is not in a good place. When they meet up again the old feelings come back and Tommy doesn't plan on letting Angie go again. Angie is pregnant with her husband but he is not good to her at all and when she finally gets the courage up to leave the one person there for her is Tommy. Will she give him the second chance he so desperately wants? This is a slow burn, second chance romance and it will hit all your emotions! Tommy's ex is a horrible person and I wished bad things on her several times. Be sure and read the 1st book before this one to get the best experience with this book! Can't wait for the next!

I was very excited to see this author had published another book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series, so I immediately picked this up and dove right in. This is a compelling exploration of second chances, heartache, and the complexities of love. We get to follow Tommy, a former rock star who returns to his hometown, and Angie, the woman he once let slip away. What results is a heartfelt journey of redemption and rekindled romance.

This story expertly balances the emotional turmoil of both characters. The chemistry between them is palpable, making their slow-burn romance all the more rewarding. The author deftly builds tension and depth, allowing readers to witness the growth of both characters as they navigate their intertwined lives. While this can be read as a standalone, it will certainly whet your appetite for more from this series. The mature content is handled thoughtfully, adding depth to the relationship without overshadowing the emotional core of the story. If you’re a fan of slow-burn romances, this book is a must-read for you!

Love and Fate A Braebeach Rockstar Romance by Loriana Cappello 5 Stars

Tommy Rock Star Dummer makes it big but wants to enjoy being in the light so he makes a decision he will regret in the future.

Angie is the one that got away and moved on with her life when Tommy dumped her for the big time. When a tragedy happens will she be ok? Can she continue with the desire to live?

Will there be a second chance at love?

Oh where to begin???? Do I start with the life altering gasp I had in chapter 2?? Or the are you serious moment in Chapter 6?? The second book in the Braebeach Rockstar series has me in all kinds of emotions. I could not put it down. This book has love, shock, tragedy, regret, scandal, hope, pettiness, tension - will there be a second chance? OMG, I can not wait for the next one! Where will the next journey take us? I would give more stars if I could 10 out of 5! Thank you for the intense and emotional read Loriana!

Love and Fate is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series by Loriana Cappello. This is a angsty, slow-burn, second chance, rockstar romance with single parent’s element, challenges, family, friendship, chemistry, drama, tragedy, heartache, emotion, and more.
Angie and Tommy have a complicated past, their teen/first love burned bright, but life tore them apart. Both move on with their – then tragedy strikes, and heartache leaves its mark. What does the future have in store for these two- will their past feelings bubble to the surface once more? Can they open themselves up to the possibility of love, risking their hearts for their second chance at love? Will the challenges they now face be too difficult to navigate?
As I have noted before, Ms. Cappello has an easy and inviting writing style that made this an engaging read.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Loriana Cappello!

This book is written very well. A little disclaimer for those who might feel like it’s not for you, with the settings being in New York and also England, most of it is written in the British version of English. That being said, some things you may not understand what the meaning is or how the wording is written. This is a romance book, but a clean one with very little spice. Now on to the storyline. Tommy is the drummer for a band and reconnects with his college girlfriend, Angie at his bandmates wedding. Of course Angie is now married to Scott and expecting a child and Tommy is with Chelsea. From the get go I really despised Chelsea, her manners and selfish nature just made my blood boil. In the end though, because I’m not going to do any spoilers, fate had a way to change the directions of a few lives. Overall a great book to read.

Love and Fate: A Braebeach Rockstar Romance (Book 2) (Braebeach Rockstar Romance Series)

I can usually get a feel for a book pretty early on. This one caught me off guard. I didn't expect to cry at all, but definitely not before chapter 3.

Tommy and Angie's story is not a fast paced story, this one takes a long time and several things before they get their happily ever after. But it was well worth the wait for them.

I couldn't imagine having to start my life over after being with someone for so many years. But both Tommy and Angie do it while making it look fairly easy.

Definitely didn't like Chelsea and feel like she got off too easy, hoping karma comes for her soon.

Please let Max be the next one of the boys to fall. I have a good feeling about his story and I can't wait to see if what my mind is coming up with is close to what happens.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and now the second one has similar themes with different characters. This one focuses on one of the other bandmates of Koolum Law, Tommy and his breakup with Angie as the band was gaining success. Now as he has come back to Braebeach, his situation has changed now as a divorced single dad. With a different mindset that life hands him, his love for Angie has never faded. Yet her situation has hardened her as she struggles to raise her son and keep her business going. Tommy comes in as a shoulder to cry on but those old feelings quickly emerge and they start questioning their motives with one another. The story goes from where the first ones leave off then zooms into the future where their story takes place. Some love never leaves even in the most dire of situations.

Love and Fate is an epic rock star romance! Tommy Graham has the bad boy rock star vibes in spades! By the time he gets his act on track he is trying to raise a son, juggle his career, and be there for his friends.

Angie is an amazing heroine! So strong and strong willed. She feels like she has to do it all and tries to do it on her own when the chips are down.

“Forget the complications, Angie. Forget who I used to be and look at the man I am now.”

Rock star, second chance, EMOTIONAL… (I was definitely Bawling by 20%)… this story has it all! Love and Fate can be read as a standalone but is the second story in the Brae Beach Series and book 1 (Strings Attached) is also an amazing rock star romance!
