I was hoping book 2 would be better but sadly it’s not. I can’t get behind the whole mafia thing because the tone of the characters is very AAVO. I don’t know anybody that says mane but every male in this book does is crazy. The character development we missed because we kept jumping months ahead in the timeline. A lot of things were told instead of playing out in the book. Overall I’m disappointed, please be honest so the author can approve.
Page turner and action are my two favorite things in a book…this book has it all and then some. Amari, Amari, Amari…🤦🏾♀️ girl, why do you always feel the need to run like you doing a 500 meter dash or something? This time you ran right into the arms of the enemy..smh!!
On a sadder note, the ending got me in a chokehold and praying as I read book 3.
My initial impression was that I had completed the book, only to discover that it ended with "to be continued." Now, I eagerly await the release of book three, hoping that it will bring closure to the storyline. Despite this, I found the plot engaging and I am rooting for Amari. While some editing is required, the story is still easy to follow.
I’m so pissed off with this book ! SMH waited on this book just for it to not even make sense.. Why it ended on another cliffhanger is BEYOND ME ! This entire book felt rushed. I definitely feel like this could’ve been the end of this series, I mean what more could really add to this storyline ? There were so many inconsistencies that I almost stopped reading.
This book started right back exactly where book one ended loved that because some books start differently then after a chapter or two it would continue, but Madam Wise didn't come to play she did her thing again. Dom still being the man did what he had to all while he and Amari came together and worked as one. Amari needed to get herself together and take her meds and happy Dom was still holding her down with her illness falling heavy and hard for her. Wesley Rossi had beef with Amari grandfather and was doing whatever he had to in order to get revenge but now that Dom is on to him and discovering the snake in his on camp there was going to be spilled blood for all involved. Now Rock and his wife is a twisted pair, I think she did something to the DNA test because both men thought junior was his, but she's bound to slip up or Rocks gonna let it slip out causing more furry. However Dom should have told Amari when she asked instead of putting it off, and she has to stop running when ever she is faced with a dilemma. Can't wait to read what happens next hopefully Amari and her baby are fine
MADAM!!!! Why did you do this to us???? First things first, the wedding scene looked beautiful! I’m soooo glad Britnee & Khiser pulled through. I’m glad Channing calmed down some I wanna see how he & Britnee grow! Dom/Slaughta is forever bae! I’m pissed about the web he & Lana put Amari in! I’m mad she ran away but her intentions were good this time. Granddad needs to come on out so we can wrap this bull up lol. This was too much yet not enough ugh!!!!
The deceit was real through this whole book and I was here for all of it!!!… I’m so glad that someone showed up to rescue Amari from herself!!!… She played no games when it came to where she stood in front of another woman about her man and I was glad to see it!!!… Britt was ready to go to war for her friend and I was cheering her on too!!!… Book 3 me please because I was not ready for it to end, especially the way it did!!!…
Let me tell you something! The way you have taken over so many hours of my lifeeee!!! Was well worth it!! Honey you have a hit on your hands and I mean a Hit! This series is there one for me baby Madam wise did not miss a beat! Form the first book to the second and hopefully those after cuz baby waiting on the next book I can’t say that I will be patient but I will try!! You did your thang!!
Book 1 had me all in, but the pacing and something I can't really put my finger on had me kind of skimming this book. That running Amari was always doing had me feeling some type of way. Lana was definitely on her BS and I want to know if that baby really Mom's. I know there was a DNA test, but there was no in depth description about how it was done. The betrayal in this book was unforgivable.
This book was so good! After all the twists and turns in the first book, I was surprised that this one had even more shockers. The second book left us with a cliffhanger just as big as the first, and now I’m racing to get my hands on book 3! The author does a fantastic job of keeping the suspense high and making each twist more surprising than the last. Highly recommend this series if you love a story that keeps you on edge!

The story would be an excellent read if it could stick to the details and storyline. Even in the first book, it seemed to start going all over the place and the details started to change. It becomes hard to get a good grasp of the timeline, some major details change mid story and then it just becomes a little rushed. It has potential but I don’t know. I don’t like leaving things unfinished so I’m gonna read the rest of the series.
Part 2 was just as good as the first book. The drama is enough without being too much. I was about to sick of Amari in this book. The author's depiction of a mentally ill person was questionable. I really wish authors would talk to medical personnel when writing scenes that involved hospital stays or all things that deal with doctors. These recovery times, illnesses, and symptoms be so off! I like Domo, he seemed like a nice guy.
This is just too much!! Just too too much!!! I don't know where to begin. Domonick is smarter than I thought. Cause if you didn't tell anyone she left, how did your brother know? Why does Rocco feel they can pick up where they left off? Will Dom save her in time? There's just too many questions! Madam Wise has me sitting on the edge of my seat!
🙄 made it all the way to the end for this to have a book 3. That was unnecessary. Amari is so hard head and I see why that Monae voice in her head be operating the way it does..she runs every single time something does go her way. She didn’t even give Dom a chance to find her she just decided let me try to take myself out.
It’s gets better with each story. Dom was wrong for not telling Amari what was up with Lana crazy tail, I’m mad because all Amari does is run, like I get you need to clear your head but you run away every time now look at the situation you. Pisssed at Roc like how could you betray Mari like that!! Slaughta needs to come out and play
So much is going down...lot of snakes in the grass...I need my girl back on her badass shit real quick...her and monae need to come to a joint understanding and unleash that cray cray on the world...not each other...Dom bout to paint the town read with vengeance...and I can't wait
It’s got potential for greatness if the storyline stayed consistent
This is a great confusing story. The timelines throw everything off being all over the place. Not only that some vital details change between book 1 & 2. I’m continuing because I’m invested I just hope book 3 is more consistent
I’m so tired of the to be continued books that take forever to come out. I loose interest and forget what the story was even about. Honestly I’m over this story anyway it’s just unnecessary drama. This is where I stop reading. Not a fan of this author
I'm so loving this series. There's a lot of drama in it, but it's so good. I want more of the funny banter between Britt and Amari. I want her and Dom to be one, move as one, and nothing separates them anymore.
Omg no Amari im so mad at her that she let the voices win she was doing soo good. I hope that dom saved her in time and that there was no trauma do there unborn baby. I can't wait until that gets Giovanni and Wesley Rossi and end the war
I just want to know what that grandfather did to cause so much trouble. He wants to go into hiding and he supposed to be the big dog. I know that life has its lessons but at what cost? Slaughter is about to tear Italy up about his wife. I bet you Lana baby is not even his.
Cnt believe plum would try n take her life, knowing she pregnant omg please let her and the baby be ok Dom got that BDE, and baby I’m here for it, cnt wait til part 3!!!!
When you say on the edge the whole time? I'm loving this series, slaugtha love for Amari (plum) and her love for him. Their spiritual connection. Can't wait for three. I will be stalking for the next one lol
How bad is Amari? I can't wait for the next book. Madam Wise has been added to my favorite authors! Read this series you'll love it. I don't want to say too much and give it a way. 10 stars.
This book is every bit of 5 stars, I loved it kept my attention from beginning to end. I'm trying to give our little plum some grace but lord she is stressing me out. I love this.
Oh my gosh! I've gotta read the next one like right now! This left me hanging off the cliff in the wind honey! I hope Dom makes it in time to save his Plum. Great book!
