5 STARS!🌟
As a true fan of dark novels, I want to say that this is extremely, absolutely my topic!
Oh, and the twisted plot....such twists and psychological triggers just make you constantly be in suspense and think, WELL, WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?
From the first pages, I already understood that we will not have everything easy with the main heroine Vivien Walker (by the way, one of the best strong heroines that I have read recently). My beloved little heart!❤️ That's what the unsurpassed and incomparable Devil of New York Christian Caine calls her.
Girls, there will be a special place on Olympus for this man! The way this cold-blooded killer takes care of his girl is incomparable!
A little SPOILER!
At one point he simply cuts off the tongue, and eyes, mercilessly deals with the offender, and at another moment he dances with Vivien in the dark because she may have a nervous breakdown (so much to go through, how could she also break down).
Despite all the losses and problems, Viva (for short) holds on like a real queen and proves her place in this hierarchy of betrayal, corruption and of course the mafia.
Let's talk about the most important thing - LOVE!
This couple is forever in my heart! You know that feeling when you want to experience these emotions again and again. That's exactly what I feel when I read about the love of Vivienne and Christian. No matter what happens, and no matter how difficult the path is, HE WILL ALWAYS FIND HER.
The chemistry between the characters is extraordinary!
And what can we say about how Christian says:
"You're really bad at hidind, dear!"
AAAAAA this is a dark romance girl!
"Today you will be my own whore!"
WHYYYY???? I just can't...it's so hot I need the air conditioner. NOW.
P.S. You won't be disappointed in the hotsexy scenes!
To avoid giving too much spoiler, especially about the catfight, I'll just say that it's worth it. And speaking of the ending, I CRIED ALL THE TEARS. I've never felt so bad for Vivien like I did then!
I'm waiting for the sequel because I really want to find out all the answers to the mystery and read the next love story of Stephanie and Cassian.

This was AMAZING!
I have so many emotions and thoughts, so I'm sharing with you.
Where to start.... well this is definitely a dark romance novel.
If you're expecting obsession, passion, a little stalking and of course dark secrets - it's in here! With each chapter I read, was immersed more and more in this world. First of all, the main events take place in the mafia family Walker (money, dirt and secrets). I don't want to spoiler too much, because then it will be boring but I will say, Vivien Walker is my heroine! 😘 Gosh, she is as beautiful as a mafia princess can be. Strong, strong-willed and so cool that she will kick your ass in no time! She is simply Incredible!!!
Secondly, girls!!!! Christian Caine! Mother of God!!!! My baby! I just want him as a husband! I just want him!!!! Aaaaaaaah! morally grey hates everyone but HER 😍 (I know, I know 😩). We all deserve a man like Christian in our lives! My cold-blooded killer!
Definitely five stars ⭐️ and I'm waiting for the second part because I want to know the whole truth and be in this world again! This is the place where I want to stay. You know when you want to dive into the pages of a book? This is it!
And what an epilogue!!!!! I cried, I laughed, I was angry and I was in complete shock. It's all here!

By the end I thought I would cry out my eyes until I died.
That's how my review of this story begins.
Oh, that was so good 🫠
I was hooked from the first lines of the story. This man, Christian Caine, stole my heart, exhausted by dark novels. Such a man must stand somewhere between the Devil (that's what they call him) and God (for how much he loves the FMC).
So, should be start from the main line:
The story tells us about the Walker family. William Walker owns a construction empire and thus controls the criminal world of New York. As they say, there are two sides of the coin. His wife died long ago, his eldest daughter was caught in a shootout and also died, and his heir is his youngest daughter Vivien Walker. PS. She is so sassy giiirlll.
Vivienne is so reluctant to participate in the mafia life that she tries to distance herself. But it doesn't work, and she has to play her role (we all have our masks). 🎭
I can't tell you how much I love this girl! I haven't seen so much courage and fortitude in a long time. She's been through so much crap in her life that it would drive me crazy. Do not want to spoiler here about all her traumas but you need to know that some scenes will be so hard to read.
Everything seems so simple and clear that it becomes boring. But, no. The plot has so many twists and secrets that you don't have time to follow and just sit with an expression on your face like "What?" 🫢 “WTF” and “I kneewwww it was” 😮
I won't let you forget that this is a dark novel 18+
So you will find here all smut and blood !!!
