Sue Nelson Buckley grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2002.

When asked why she writes she'll laugh and say she can't not write. She's been telling stories for as long as she could talk and writing them down soon after she learned her alphabet.

Her first books published were two versions of the same story. The original version is a regular adult romance which was re-written as a young adult romance. Unable to decide which edition to publish, Sue decided to offer both in a dual version volume.

Her latest novel, Hiding in Plain Sight makes you wonder which is worse, the evil aliens out to get them or the High School drama queen.

I have to admit I'm a little biased on this book. It was my first foray into writing Young Adult fiction and I quickly discovered how much I loved this genre.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

This book was my first read by this author. I liked the character development and always love a local setting. It really does enhance the connection to the story when we can recognize the locations. I liked the story and found it to be unique. It wasn't something that I couldn't put down but I did want to see how things ended for Kathryn and Jake. It's one of those stories that ties itself up in a neat little bow at the end. I prefer a bit more of a twist or surprise at the end but sometimes a pleasant happy ending story is just what we need. I worried that Kathryn would be killed and that's how they'd end up together. Still not sure how it all came about with him being regenerated but again...sometimes a happy ending is needed.I would definitely read Sue again.
