Tyrant was exactly what I was looking for! An great, quick read that moved well and had some hot, smexy times thrown in. I thought the two MCs worked well together and enjoyed their happy ending.

Great first book

This is a great first book to a series I loved every minute of it love books like this and it was sweet with naughtiness mixed in along with blood shed much needed to end her nightmares loved it

Blair could tell by the look in her husband's eyes that she was going to die. She may be leaving with just the clothes on her back, but she knew she had no choice but to find a way to escape.

Blair's only breathing room was when the librarian let her stay as long as she liked reading. Escaping into romance novels that had nothing to do with reality. She knew it was all a lie, but she needed the escape and used the restroom for bathing before hiding again on the streets.

Her parents had betrayed her and married her to a monster. There was nothing she could do for them now, but she planned to return for the one thing that mattered to her.

Tyrant was on his way to Vegas to see his favorite band, but as his Harley was heading out of town, he saw a woman walking on the side of the road. As soon as she hears his bike engine, her thumb is pointing in the air. He knows he should ignore her, but stops anyway and is shocked when she gets on the back of his bike, willing to travel across the country to a concert with a stranger.

He didn't know why she was running, but he was determined to protect her with the weight of his MC brothers behind him.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book is action-packed from front to back. When Tyrant wakes up after a drunken night celebrating after the concert, he finds his travel companion has disappeared. A travel companion leaving with a souvenir... a wedding band that matched the one on his finger.

Tyrant and Blair have tons of sexual chemistry and Tyrant is determined to find her when she disappears from Vegas. He knows she is running from something and he is determined to find her before she gets hurt.

This book is full of danger as Blair barely escapes the cult leader who has made her parents into people she no longer recognizes. But she is determined to rescue the one thing she treasures above all else and to get her vengeance for all the horrors she has suffered at the hands of the cult leader - her husband.

If you like MC romance then you will love this book. It is action-packed, full of danger and smoking hot... with a helping of vengeance on the side. Highly recommend.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Tyrant and Blair) TYRANT follows the building relationship between our story line couple. Chris ‘Tyrant’ Knight has tickets to a concert in Las Vegas but none of his MC brothers are free. On his journey to Nevada, Tyrant picks up a stranger, a hitch hiker with no place to go, the woman with whom Tyrant will fall in love. Blair is a young woman, on the run, away from a dark and controlling past. Blair left something behind, something she is desperate to reclaim as her own but a weekend in Vegas ends with Blair ghosting Tyrant, and in the ensuing aftermath, more than the MC is looking to reclaim our story line heroine. I have been patiently waiting for another book from Sapphire Knight. She did not at all disappoint with this one. I absolutely love MC books that bring complete opposites together. You get that and so much more from this story.
Sapphire kicked this series off with quite a bang with this book. Tyrant is the VP of the Kings of Carnage MC. He has tickets for a concert in Las Vegas. He takes off and while out riding he sees Blair trying to hitchhike. She does not appear like the type of woman that should be on the side of the road hitch hiking. So Tyrant does the right thing and offers her a ride.
On hold because that is where this adventure really starts. These two end up spending quite the time together getting to Las Vegas and once in Las Vegas. Tyrant starts to believe that this girl could be the girl that he wants to spend more time with. But something spooks her, and she takes off.
Tyrant finds her and brings her back to the clubhouse where he finds out the real truth about Blair and her life and what she is running from.
Will Tyrant be able to protect her and make her one and only wish come true or will her past step in and take everything away?
Sapphire did amazing writing this storyline. These two characters have such a great story to tell, and it comes out on every single page. There was suspense, emotions, and love all wrapped into one amazing story.
Highly recommend and cannot wait to read any others that come out for this series.

Tyrant is the VP of the Kings of Carnage MC in Alabama. When he heads to Vegas for a concert he runs into Blair, who is homeless and on the run. Her situation is dire and she is living day to day trying to outrun her husband and leader of the cult she escaped from. Unfortunately since her family is also a part of the cult there is no one she can turn to, she even had to leave her child behind. When she takes up Tyrants offer for a ride she doesn’t’ expect to end up in Las Vegas and she definitely doesn’t expect to wake up married. So when Tyrant wakes to find her gone he can’t sort his feelings but he knows he needs to find Blair and find out her secrets once and for all.

I really liked this book. I have to admit I wasn’t expected the surprise marriage but it worked really well with the storyline and advanced the plot in a way that connected the first part to the second part. You also get a sense of the type of person that Tyrant really is under that touch exterior. Also if you love an unapologetic and morally grey Alpha MC MMC then Tyrant is your book. The pacing was great, it didn’t drag on too long before Tyrant figured out Blairs issue and the resolution was extremely satisfying. I only wish the book was a bit longer. Entertaining and Steamy MC book. Worth the read.

A swoon-worthy biker meets a fleeing ex-religious cult member, and they learn what love is all about. It's sweet, hot, spicy, and a good read!

Tyrant, VP for the Kings of Carnage Alabama, is true to his name with his brothers, not the sweet thing he picks up on a road trip to Vegas to see his favorite band. Something about her calls to him and brings out his protective side. Blair is hiding out after escaping a religious cult, homeless, and living rough every night. Tyrant makes Blair feel safe despite their size difference and his intimidating scowl. The concert lowers their inhibitions, and shots imbibed result in a wedding certificate proclaiming them as husband and wife. But there is one slight problem, well two: Blair is already married in the eyes of the cult, and they have her daughter. Tyrant isn't about to let his wife agonize over how to get her daughter back and be rid of her other false husband. He will claim her in every way possible and show her how much he treasures her.

Tyrant: Kings of Carnage MC VP is the first book that I have read by this author. (KOCMC) This series is written by various authors.

Before I get started with this review I have to mention the “Warning” I Loved it! If I had read the warning first I would have chosen this book to read. You should check it out especially if you have TW’s. The warning is full of personality and spitfire! Thankfully I am not easily offended, at least not by books.

This is Blair and Tyrant’s story. There is a little insta-love happening here. Which I do believe can happen. I am living my own insta-love romance.

I don’t think that Tyrant was much of a tyrant until towards the end of the book. He offered Blair a refuge in which she needed badly. I was happy that Tyrant knew he needed to protect Blair from her previous life.

I think you will need to suspend reality but then that is what romance is about.

I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Tyrant and Blair’s story.
Tyrant is VP of the Alabama Chapter, and he has tickets to a concert in Vegas, and while on his way there he comes across Blair hitch hiking. Blair is homeless and on the run from a monster, and she is haunted by demons. Blair agrees to go with Tyrant to Vegas, but what happens there does not always stay there.
This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family dynamics, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, forced proximity, opposites attract, challenges, and love, which leads to a spicy, and entertaining addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

A gripping story!

Sapphire Knight has hit it out of the park with this book. Blair and Tyrant meet under unusual circumstances and without knowing one another embark upon a road trip adventure. He doesn't know she is running from something and she doesn't know he is in a motorcycle club. Yet they find a connection that leads them to a night of drunken intimacy. When Tyrant wakes up she is gone and he discovers they did more than sleep together the night before and he doesn't remember any of it. This couple shares steamy passion when they find their way back to each other. I really loved the entire creative idea that went into making this book what it is.

Loved it!!

Tyrant is your typical big grumpy biker who doesn't need a woman hanging off his arm, or so he thinks. The minute stops on the side of the road to offer a concert ticket to this sprite of a woman and she wraps her arms around him, has him thinking. He wants to know all about this woman who he can tell is hiding from something or someone. He's not even sure if her name is Blair.

Tyrant & Blair

Tyrant is the VP for the Alabama KOCMC and is a grumpy alpha. He meets Blair walking down the road and offers her a ride to Vegas with him to see a concert. Blair is homeless & hiding from her cult leader ex. Like they say what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Can these two people find love. Thank you Ms Knight for writing this book. I read your books and are never disappointed.

I'm kinda between 3.5 and 3.75 stars for this book. Parts of it were good but others were a bit wooden and slow. Also there are a lot of typos and errors. I would also point out that it's a really bad idea to throw flour on a fire to put it out, flour is highly combustible (the greatfire of London started with flour. Overall a decent enough story, just needed a bit more development in the plot and the characters.

It's been awhile since I've read this author and I always miss words by her, especially when she goes dark and gritty like this.
This book did conflicted me though... while everything was answered/tied up, it felt rushed in parts, the lower page count than I'm used to by this author probably didn't help either.
If you want a quick dirty read, this is the book for you.

That was crazy!! How can her parents turn into psychos like that? Damn!! Paybacks a bitch!! It was really good!! Tyrant proves himself 2 her in ways that he told her and she might of had doubts but they changed real fast. When shit hits the fan they will do what they must but can life go good 4 them or fall apart? Read and find out. I loved this book.it was really good!!
