For over a decade, Alex Toles has walked the fine line between shadow and light, working within the fringes of National Intelligence to expose the roots of The Collaborative—a covert organization of military, political, and corporate leaders whose true agenda remains shrouded in mystery. A recent attack on Poland’s power grid and simultaneous assassination attempts on the American president and German Chancellor have sent shockwaves around the globe, escalating tensions to a boiling point.
Now serving as the Deputy National Security Adviser to President Candace Reid, Alex is more vigilant than ever, with her wife, Cassidy, acting as the president’s press secretary. As they navigate the treacherous waters of global politics, Alex works beside her old adversary-turned-friend, Claire Brackett. Together, they unravel a web of deceit stretching back over seventy-five years—a conspiracy threatening their lives and the fabric of global stability.
The stakes are raised higher with the reappearance of Cassidy and Claire’s enigmatic father, Jim McCollum, whose past may hold the key to stopping The Collaborative once and for all. But as Alex delves deeper into the secrets that could secure their future, she must also balance the growing demands of her family with the ever-present dangers of her profession. In a world where allegiances are fragile, and enemies lurk in every shadow, Alex is reminded that, for some, Concealment is the ultimate weapon.
Concealment is the gripping eighth installment in the Alex and Cassidy political thriller series, where espionage, family, and loyalty collide in a high-stakes battle against an unseen enemy.

I love this series! But I missed El and Claire with the kids. We don’t see too much of them in the book. Also, Rose. I guess I really missed that tender side of Claire. However, the book had a lot of twists. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Nancy Ann Healy has added another story to her captivating series featuring Alex and Cassidy Toles, again entwined with President Candace Reid and First Lady Jameson Reid from her By Design series.
The story presents both the everyday and the extraordinary lives of the well-framed lineup of biological and found family members — set amid the intrigue, spycraft, and clandestine machinations under way to amass global political and economic power.
Healy does well writing characters you become invested in and plots that consume you. At the back of Concealment is the suggested reading order of all the titles in the two series. Start at the beginning of the first book and enjoy the adventure.
This series of books just gets better each time. The characters are real they are like a part of your family. Nancy has made them lovable and that they are a real family with kids and every day problems. The character are just trying to understand what their fathers have started and what the purpose means. They have chosen careers to help them with there journey with all roads leading to DC to help the President with world wide spying and just trying to stay alive to help save peoples or the world. Can't wait for the next book
It just ended, no warning, nothing. I was enjoying this one so much and now I’m gutted. I love these books so much, the drama, mystery, deception and everything else that happens just keeps you on your toes. Add in the intertwined families with the humour they bring and it can’t be beat. I can’t wait for the next instalment, be that an Alex and Cassidy book or a By Design book.
Another action adventure for Toles and gang. This one had me on the edge of my seat, not able to put it down for long. So many more questions arose, and I will be impatiently waiting for the next book. I love the family theme throughout the books. I enjoy seeing both By Design intertwined with the Alex and Cassidy series. There is always so much going on. I look forward to more books by thos author.
If you want a thriller with characters that you’ve grown to love, admire and laugh with, and a storyline that keeps you on your toes, then this series is for you.
Another great installment of the Intersection series! I must say I’ve enjoyed Claire’s character development throughout these book? I wish Alex’s intelligence was highlighted and or spotlighted more. Anyway, great book!!!
I read the first seven books and then went straight into it. I struggled halfway through on who was on whose side, but I knew it would come good in the end and it did. Another amazing book by Nancy
I really like Nancy's work. Her characters are fun, but they can turn the switch to strong and empowered when needed. The continuing story of espionage and intrigue will keep you reading into the night.
Continuing the story of Alex, Clair, Dylan, Cassidy, Candace, and Jameson and all they are involved with. Multinational intrigue and plots abound. Nancy can twist plots with the best of them. I recommend reading this book.
Great to catch up with all the characters again at the Whitehouse. Found this story quite spread out and ended flipping through some pages. Felt like you were reading one of the previous books again.
This series started our amazing, but the last few books have been redundant talk about the past and how everyone feels about it, with very little actual movement on the plot.
I love these characters and the cross over story line. So much that’s relatable to these days and the pure love shown in this series is overwhelming. Thank you NAH
