Overdone..

Disappointed that this was over the top on how the heroine could not stand the h and vice versa. The h visiting his mistress on his wedding night was a big DNF for me. Don't care for this over the top angst read.

Seriously, you need to put down whatever you're doing and pick up this book asap and trust me it will give you scrumptious time with everything that makes a book spicy and piping hot.

Oh how I devoured this book. I had to get up super early the next day but did I give a daymn?!...Nope... I read this one non-stop, late in the night because the book is that freaking amazing.

Francesca hates that she's to be married off to Don Barone as she loves another man. But her family has already arranged her marriage and as they are also in dire need of protection, she can't really back off from this marriage.

But after the marriage, Francesca hates how her body burns with desire for this man who's supposed to be so ruthless.

We see Francesca doing her best to irk Valentino and doesn't even let him near her. But what truly shocked me was the man that is Valentino Barone.

Valentino Barone is a man of honor and loyalty and his word is his bond. He's the head of the family and a very dangerous and extremely powerful man who's called "Silent Night" for a reason as he alives people who have wronged him so quietly and without an ounce of emotion.

But when it comes to Francesca, Valentino is such a Heart-melting, sweetest, most considerate, kindest and loving man.
The patience that man has, truly astounded me as he took Francesca's childish attitude at times and other times, rash whims, totally calmly and he always did his best to show his devotion to her.

I'M SCREAMING HERE RIGHT NOW, WANTING A HUSBAND LIKE VALENTINO BARONE BECAUSE HE TRULY DESERVES "THE HUSBAND OF THE YEAR" AWARD.

The way he calls Francesca, "Mia Piccolo Perla" and also the way he ordered everyone to address her only as "Signora Barone".... Oh My My.... I was a freaking Melted Mess😻😻

I'm betting that anyone who reads this book will go absolutely crazy for Valentino. But sorry ladies, I have already claimed him as mine.
I can't tell you the number of times I wanted to take Francesca's place because he's truly the most amazing and devoted man who you could ever read about.

We have lots and lots of ANGSTY TIMES that were like molten lava for the way the wild emotions flowed while Francesca and Valentino battled it out.

Their marriage felt like a ground of both irresistible burning love, Hot 𝖫𝗎𝗌𝗍 and constant battle of trust.

The number of times this book made me go crazy over their arguments and the emotional turmoil that was happening, were so many.
But I loved every freaking second of it.

There were so many misunderstandings and jealousy filled anguish and the subsequent consequences, which was one of the main highlights that had me turning the pages like crazy.

There is also family enmity and land dispute and fight for power and domain and Valentino is a Warrior King who handles it all smoothly only for his wife to bring him to his knees.

THE INTIMATE & SPICY TIMES WERE SO FIRE AND DELICIOUS and honestly so many scenes felt like they made me feel the seduction that was going on the pages feel so real that I was reading them atleast two or three times and then gasping over all the Intensity and Red hot Passion that Francesca and Valentino shared.

I seriously can't recommend this book enough if you love delicious spice filled chemistry but also something that will make you want to throw your Kindle with what is happening on the pages; A book that will equally melt your heart and your...ahem...melt your P@nt!3s too..🥵🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The story was sweet, beautiful, charming and definitely a page turner. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a sweet romance (with a hint of dark😉).
I loved valentino and his loyalty even while belonging to the mafia world. Female character was also very nice and challenging the MMC every step of the way😌💪.

I am bawling my eyes out over here! Oh, the emotions... This was a sexy read between two very argumentative people who push and pull so deliciously I couldn't put this down! This was some great writing, expect drama and there are a few triggers, one of them made me tear up. The chemistry between these two...they are on fire for one another but are both so stubborn!

He married her for what she thought and they didn't realize how the other really felt.

Those were some harsh words he used on her. I'm sorry, but that sentence alone I wouldn't have taken him back past more groveling. That was the worst...wow. Aside from that, I agree with her for some things. He is dangerous, does dangerous things and has a past that gets shoved into her face. Considering she never knew how he really felt...I can't blame her for her doubts. He was better than most but even then, could have simply said he was a man of his word and didn't believe in stepping out. I get he was offended, but unfortunately that's how this works in his world and I leaned more to sympathy for her. However, thank goodness he was a good man with her. They truly do want only the other and it just broke my heart at the trials they went through. I'm happy they are back together but sad at their path and consequences. A very well written story with so many emotions!

She always knew the life she was born into, but she hope to escape it for something different however, when she found herself walking up the aisle, she realized there was no escape. He is the dark and brewing mafia Dawn who wants control of the land her family owns. But the land isn’t the only thing he wants, he wants her body and soul. They definitely have the enemies to lovers thing going on strong in this one, it is a constant push and pull as these two figure it out. There is a secondary thread of mafia family drama going on that intersects with their romance. They get hot and bothered really quick, leading to some steamy spice. Lots of miscommunication and misunderstandings on the road to find their HEA. The character development is good. You have a strong sense of who each of them are, the families they come from and what motivates them. The intensity of the push and pull keeps you on your toes.

A dark mafia story that will make you frustrated and swoon at the same time.
Valentino Barone and Francesca Barbieri got married today in an arranged marriage to help the Barbieri family’s financial situation and to be protected. Valentino is the Don Barone. He is a relentless person and Francesca hates him. She loves another, or does she really? What Francesca doesn’t know is that Valentino is highly and magnetically attracted to her. The ups and downs and the accusations, mostly on Francesca’s part, are way off the charts. One big secret is kept by Valentino that Francesca will never know, or will she? The steam is off the charts in this book, and so is the action. Trust is a major factor in any relationship. Can they ever have full trust of one another? Revelations come to light on both their parts. This book is filled with anticipation, but will put you on edge at the same time. It’s also filled with lots of emotion. It’s a book I truly enjoyed.

This is a great push and pull between two people who are aiming for different endings to their story. A litany of misunderstandings and deliberate acts of sabotage has our hero and heroine butting heads constantly. Francesca is sassy and stubborn, refusing to see the real man behind the Mafia Don, so much so she puts herself in danger and almost destroys them both.
Another great dark love story from Georgia that will have you rooting for one then the other character as the tide changes throughout.

Fight Me Little Pearl is a fast paced, enemies to lovers, forced marriage story and my first read by this author. It's Francesca Barbieri and Don Valentino Barones story and it's an intense story. Danger, chaos, deceit and secrets all play a part in their journey. Francesca, to me, for much of the book seemed like a spoiled rotten little girl but somehow she grew on me a little by the end. Valentino is ice cold when he wants to be so between the two personalities and all of the seemingly miscommunications I didn't think they'd find their way back together. But, this author spun a story where everything fell into place just as it should. Fight Me Little Pearl is a lengthy read but well worth it.

Valentino is exactly the type of book boyfriend we all swoon for. He’s dominant, powerful, possessive and dirty talking.
As for Francesca, I enjoyed her tenacity, sassiness and strength.
Their story holds some secrets, danger and a whole lot of passion.
So if you’re looking for a story that is inviting, captivating and alluring, you will be very delighted with Valentino and Francesca’s remarkably enticing and beautiful story.

Francesca is from a mafia family and has been set to marry Valentino which she doesn't want to do. Valentino loves the fire he sees in his bride to be's eyes and has no intention of letting her go. Once Francesca let's herself talk to Valentino instead of always fighting him she sees that there is more to him. Its not long before things change between them. However, outsiders want to split them up and cause problems between them. Will the trust issues become the downfall of their marriage? Can they find a way to stay together?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Fight Me Little Pearl is the story of Francesca Barbieri and Valentino Barone. It is an arranged marriage between two families, each who get something but at what price. He is a dark, intense, magnetic, and dangerous Don of the Barone family. Her family is in danger after her father dies. So she enters into an arranged marriage to keep them safe and financially secure. But she does not want to marry Valentino, as he hates him with all she has. But she does what is expected as does he, because he wants her but also what she brings to the marriage. These two have an intense attraction but also a love/hate relationship so get ready for a roller-coaster ride of a journey to their HEA.

If only her body had the same message as her head. He will convince her to be his in all ways. Theres secrets revealed. Suspenseful and intriguing edge of your seat read. Their chemistry is steaming. They both have thier demons and feelings to deal with, ie: second guessing themselves and mistrust. There are misunderstandins and misconceptions that lead to the trust issues. This is dark, dangerous and a deliciously mafia alpha. Drew me in from page one to end and kept me wondering whats happening next. Great read.

We are taken along in the life of Valentino and Francesca. You are glued to the book from the first page. In order to protect her family, she finds out that marrying Valentino is the best way to keep them safe. Neither of them are happy but despite the bickering and squabbling they try to make something of it. But when feelings come to the surface, things get heated. Just when you think they have finally given in to their feelings, a fateful event happens that can throw everything they have achieved and are busy building together into disarray.

Even though it is not the life she wants Francesca has agreed to marry Valentino to protect her family. She is willing to fight for the man she wants but now she finds herself fighting her attraction to her husband.

Valentino is a powerful man who is used to getting what he wants. He wants the land that he will get when he marries Francesca, but he also wants her and is about to show her the only man she belongs with is him.

The chemistry between Francesca and Valentino is fire. She challenges him at every turn which only makes him want her more as he shows her that despite the circumstances that brought them together he is her everything.

I really liked the book, but didn’t quite love it.
The storyline and idea were great, and executed well. There are a few small errors that an editor should have picked up on, but not too distracting from the book.
I much preferred the character of the mmc to the fmc, as she seemed a little too immature and naive at times, considering the world she grew up in. Some of the things she did as a character seemed inconsistent also.
A few ideas and points of dialogue seemed a bit ignorant on the author’s part, but again, not enough to distract or take away from the main story.

This riveting story had me all caught up in Francesca and Valentino. To protect her family she marries Valentino, and it starts their path. At first Francesa fights him at every turn thinking that she is in love with someone else but the more she and Valentino battle with each other the feelings begin to form and soon things are coming together for them but when an unfortunate accident happens will they lose all they have been building together.

This book was beyond amazing. Francesca is from a Mafia family and Valentino wants to marry her. Their communication is terrible and they end up hurting each other over and over, but they do get a happily ever after ending eventually. I felt so connected to Francesca and Valentino, I was cheering them on the whole time I was reading. Secrets create twists and turns that make this book something truly special. Loved every minute of it.

I could not put this story down, it's a great story, Georgia Le Carre is truly talented, the plot is strong, it's back with a little of everything, emotions will be all over the place, nothing about Francesca and Valentino's journey was easy, they went through a lot, many ups and downs and twists and turns. These two were fierce, intense, a strong pair with off the charts chemistry, it was sizzling, they were good together.
This is a great story, I'd suggest reading it, Georgia Le Carre did a wonderful job on it.

This is a well written mafia romance with strong characters in Francesca and Valentino. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with an enemies to lovers arranged marriage filled with ups and downs and a smokin hot chemistry. She kept me turning the pages with the intense storyline with all the twists and turns along the way. Loved an recommend this book.

Valentino fell in love with Francesca Barbieri from a distance because he knew she hated her deceased father and all things Mafia. It is rumored that she inherited the valuable Terra de Barbieri so Valentino made a deal with her Nonno to marry her to gain control. When she is kidnapped, he rescues her and keeps her locked in his mansion until his minions plan a splashy church wedding. Their fights and misunderstandings wring the reader out. This book has an excellent plot, is well-written, and well well-edited for a very enjoyable read!

This is Francesca Barbieri (Mafia daughter) and Valentino Barone story. She is being forced to marry a bridegroom whom she hates and vows to end the marriage as soon as she can! But something unforeseen happens, she is now fighting her attraction and desire for him! Their chemistry is tangible! This well-written, page-turning, enemies to lovers, mafia romance is filled with angst, drama, danger and secrets.

A dark mafia enemy to lover romance that had all the right feels! The push and pull between the MC's blew me away, literally so much angst i was on the edge of my seat wondering who would crack first! I love the stubborn and strong willed female leads that really push all the MMCs buttons and this was full of it! Valentino was possessive and all consumed by Francesca - brilliant story!!.

This is an entertaining, dark mafia, forced marriage, romance book that holds your attention captive from beginning to end. The storyline is intriguing, suspenseful, and dramatic as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with depth to their personalities and steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.

Valentino and Francesca have a marriage that includes a lot of things - family drama, other woman drama, and mafia drama. But it is also about a couple who have so much love for each other in a world with so many forces pushing against them. A romance with lots of push and pull, but plenty of love and steam too.

Don't judge the book by the cover

The picture of the MMC on the cover is the worst one I have ever seen he looks like he's a 19-year-old drunk. I almost didn't read it because of the picture. However the book was not bad good riding a fairly good story. The MFC was kind of ditzy. The book did drag on to get to the hea. It was not bad but I will not save it. Please author change the cover picture.

Francesca was born into the mafia and had hopes of leaving it with another man. She is forced to marry Valentino to protect her family. Valentino is used to having whatever he wants in life as he's the Don of the family. He not only wants the land that comes with Francesca, he also wants her body and soul as his wife. The pull between this couple is everything in this story.
