“Show me what it’s like to belong to Death.”
wow, this book was exactly what I needed! I have never read anything like this before and it intrigued me. although it was very heavy at times, I think it was written so beautifully. the relationship between Lena and Kellan was everything. I feel like they are the perfect balance that each other needs. wait i’m not done. the SPICE?!?! like okaaaaay Kellan🤭🥵 I feel like Kellan was a sweetheart but when he would have his way with Lena, the beast came out😅 I seriously did not want to put this down when reading. and omg that ending though?! I was really not expecting that. I knew this was going to be a five star read for me. i’m so grateful I was able to ARC read this🖤

Yes, Yes, Yes !!! This book was everything I didn’t know I needed. I love a good shadow daddy romance, and this one was amazing and so very hot 🥵! The pain and emotions going through Lena broke my heart, yet she overcame so much and powered through it all for Kellan. I hated everyone that Lena surrounded herself with and what they put her through. The plot twist that came in this book had my mouth wide open on a gasp. I was so invested into this story yet didn’t see that being the way things went. I absolutely loved everything about this book and I wish I was able to give it more than 5⭐️’s.

This has got to be my favorite KM books to date. It was so different from her other books, but I absolutely loved it.
Going into this, I knew it was heavy (self harm, suicidal thoughts) so please make sure that you read the trigger warning on this one. As heartbreaking as the story was, it was also so beautiful. Our FMC has such an infatuation with death. She craves it, and somehow, she ends up falling in love with it, which I thought was pretty poetic.😭
And we LOVE a shadow daddy 😮💨😮💨
I felt like even though this book had a lot of really heavy moments. It had some really good ones too. AND SOME VERY SPICY ONES😮💨
Without saying too much, I absolutely fucking love the way that this book was tied up at the end. I was not expecting it but it worked SO perfectly I wouldn’t change a thing. I just love those two 🥹🖤

Woah, I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. First time reading a paranormal book and it was actually good and not cringy in any way. The plot was interesting in a good way. I’ve read the authors other books and she always adds so much depth to her characters that I love!

KM Baker is such an amazing storyteller and evoked all the emotions while also adding in spicy when necessary and not over the top that overwhelmed the story. I love this book and hit all the feels.

this story was very different from a lot of stories i have read and never did i think i would have had so much interest in something written like this!
The ending was PERFECT. I didn’t expect that plot what so ever and i feel it tied the story all up so well.
Lena, had a very troubled life, she is at her end with everything she has had to deal with until she meets kellan.
his protection over her is everythinnnng!
& i can see why he’s a “shadow daddy” ;)

What an emotional read.
Ironic that death makes her feel alive….

This book felt so raw and almost as i it was speaking to you. So many relatable issues.
I had so many emotions reading this, I am so glad Lena and Kellan got their HEA even if it was an unconventional one.
Lena was pushed to her limits over and over again, alone, tired, and with a longing of some type of happiness.
I loved how Kellan was there for her, supporting, reassuring her and making sure she knew that she wasn’t alone any more. And who doesn’t love a shadow daddy who’s shadows like to play
I love Kiley’s books and I can’t wait to see what is next from her.

This was so good. I especially didn’t see the twist coming.
I felt so sorry for Lena she seemed so sweet and nice and everyone pooped on her from a great height. So what if she had kinks they are nobody’s business but her own.
Go Kellan for fighting for what he wanted. I loved that he was going to defy God and the Devil to get his girl.
I had a LOL moment when Kellan thinks he’s being cleaver and sneaking back into the apartment via the bathroom for her to be on the toilet. I really loved that part. Maybe be a it made them seem normal.
Part of me wishes it had been a little longer but then everything that was needed was their I just thing I wasn’t ready to let them go.
This was my second K.M. Baker book and I have loved them both.
Highly recommend but check triggers.

You can’t go wrong with a shadow daddy! The way Lena was broken will absolutely break your heart but she pulls herself together for Kellan and it’s the most beautiful thing, EVER!! The plot twist in this book, 😳😳 I didn't see it coming, but it tied everything together perfectly!

Exceptional, exquisite, raw, emotional, captivating….these are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing this book. This is by far more than a 5 star read. The intense, raw emotions that Lena has to go through are so relatable. I honestly felt like this author stole a page from my journal. Kellan was a breath of fresh air and I loved seeing how his and Lena’s story developed. Gosh this book will definitely be living rent free in my head for a very long time!

This book was fantastic! It does cover some VERY heavy topics though, so don’t let the short length fool you into thinking it’s an easy read because it is DARK! The twist was a huge shock! If you can handle the triggers, then definitely give it a read!

The only reason it got even 2 stars is because of the spice. “Shadow cock” are you serious. I busted out laughing. As a person who used to SH, I can feel like that the feeling conveyed by Lena was right but seems over done at times. The “bullying” could have been done better. Someone is gonna call you a slut and you’re gonna cut yourself? Yeah, okay 🙄. Get dragged across the floor with your hair by your dad all because you didn’t ace a spelling test in 3rd grade then we can talk. (Oops on the lore dump but be for real)
Shadow daddy was over done too. Overly aggressive and she liked it? Hmmm. Where the red flag guy on TikTok? It definitely had potential but didn’t quite reach it.
To those who liked it, good for you. I ain’t yacking your yum. Just not my cup of tea.

-- Endless is definitely not my typical read. This is my first ghost daddy read and my first read that was this type of dark. There were parts in the book where I could understand what the fmc was going through. I know what it's like to be b--lied and having almost no escape from it. Endless definitely made me take several breaks because my heart just really went out to Lena. I wanted to reach into that book so bad and just hold her and tell her everything will be ok 😭 knowing that there's people who struggle with this in real life just breaks my heart and I just want to say it's okay to not be ok, you matter, your mental health matters. Kellan, aka shadow daddy, is what got me through and knew there was going to be a light at the end of this tunnel. He is the sweetest mmc, and ugh, I just love how much he loves Lena and how he loves her exactly the way she is flaws and all. Kiley just did a beautiful job with this book despite it being heavy emotional. It is worth the read without a doubt. K.M. Baker never seems to disappoint.

Lena has gone through so much in her short little life, that I feel no one should ever go through some of those experiences, but damn no matter she is still so brave and strong and my does it show. Even though sometimes I feel this all stems from the people she puts herself around, hence why her mental health is affected so dramatically, it could all be changed with some life choices.

Kellen, aka the Grim Reaper, is honestly the nicest and most understanding person ever (very surprising, lol)! He was most definitely someone I did expect when first starting this read, but omg, he is one of my favorites, and I’m so happy his path managed to cross with Lena.

And omg, his devotion to her is just beautiful! He was never one to judge her and I think that was something she really needed in life and with a person in general, plus I feel it also helped with her opening up and changing for the better. Cause everyone has always judged her before getting to know her and/or letting her open up, so when Kellen came in, it was like a breath of fresh air (Ironic for the grim reaper lol). Overall, I feel that Lena was meant for so much more and better things, but with that, I also think she was meant to be his from the start! Okay, back to the story, K. M. Baker did a phenomenal job at accurately portraying the reality and struggle around mental health. Her writing brings the fictional world to life in such a way that I can physically feel the various emotions of the characters. Her descriptions always create a vivid sense of place, mentally transporting me into the story.
I usually don’t follow the authors chapter playlist because I feel like they don’t go with the chapter at all, at least so of the ones I’ve tried before. However, this playlist is perfect and really sets the tone for what’s to come 🤌

Seriously so good! I binge this book in 1 day while I was sick. All hail the Queen of Dark! K. M. Baker is one of my favorite dark romance authors. Her writing is phenomenal! I don’t know how she does it, the ebook was only 164 and it felt so full and complete.
If you like your spice spicin’, your content warning list thick, and something that is going to make you question your mental stability when your newfound kinks, then I highly recommend this book and any other book by K. M. Baker 🖤

I was very excited to read this story, but sadly it wasn’t for me.
This story is a heavy mental health representation for self harm and su!cide, so please please check the warning list.
Overall the story is wonderfully written, however i found myself loosing interest about 1/3 of the way through and the huge plot twist around 65% just kinda pushed me over the edge.
Lena faces things that leave her feeling alone, hopeless and emotionally vulnerable, and battles with her mental health and su!cidal thoughts.
at the beginning of the book she attempts to take her own life, and this is how she ‘meets’ Kellan, the angel of death.
A few years pass where she’s been gliding through life, going through the motions and her boyfriend sets in motion a life altering event that leads her to re-face all those things she felt before.
Lena and Kellan are a wonderful representation of a completely consuming love.
but she is, yet again, left alone to feel abandoned while being bullied, to overcome her intense emotions. To choose life.
this is where it got… difficult for me.
i don’t feel as though Lenas character really developed enough in the storyline to have faced such a difficult decision after everything she’d already been through. It just felt like there was more to her growth that should have been explored and/expressed. And then the huge plot twist happens and it almost just felt like everything was happening so quickly and was being wrapped up without extending the story too much.
The spice was definitely spicy, though!

I had the honour of reading this as an arc read and loved every second of it
This book is very dark, with very triggering material. Please read the trigger warnings before jumping in to it.
Lena is a very troubled young woman who has had a hard life and has found solace in harming herself, to be able to feel something other than the never ending worthlessness that she constantly feels
When she realises that her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend, it tips her over the edge and she tries to end her life
Two years later we return to her life, where she is at university, still struggling to cope and in another relationship what doesn’t treat her properly, but when her boyfriend shares a shmex tape of her around campus, she can’t carry on, and starts hurting herself again
That is, until she meets Kellan, who unbeknownst to her, is the grim reaper. He takes an instant interest in her, and quickly becomes obsessed with wanting to make sure she survives. They both feel an instant connection with each other, but she doesn’t know who he is and what he does.
Their relationship blossoms, but what happens when she finds out who he really is?
There is a HUGE twist in this book that I didn’t see coming and it really knocked me sideways.
I loved this book. It’s hard hitting, intense and incredibly well written. The spice is fantastic, especially when Kellan is in his true identity, and he blows Lena’s mind

How tragic yet beautiful is this story!!! KM has done it again with another phenomenol read 🖤🖤🖤
Lena, she has endured so much in her short life. She is so brave and she shows how strong she is constantly. I think that she has surrounded herself with the wrong people and that has affected her mental health dramatically.
Kellan, also known as the Grim Reaper is surprisingly kind and understanding. He's not what I expected but I am so happy that he crossed paths with Lena.
The plot was beautiful. We see Kellan coming for Lena and then Lena's world once again shift. Kellan's devotion to Lena was amazing. He never once judged her and made her feel like herself maybe for the first time in many years. Lena, I personally think she was meant for more and I think meant to be Kellan's from the beginning. The twist was something I didn't expect but it made so much sense and added to the complexity of the story.
I commend KM's respect whilst writing a story that deals so heavily with mental health issues.
