Really loved this book! I was amazed by the author’s ability tell such an intricate and suspenseful story from an unreliable narrator’s point of view. The characters are interesting and well developed, the mystery is captivating and difficult to guess, and the narration is concise and witty. I’ve contemplated the larger (human trafficking) and smaller themes of this book (broken window theory) regularly while reading. All in all— 5 stars to a book that was extremely well-written, surprised me, and made me think, written by my favorite author ;)
