ClaireI’m snowed in with the man whose family has been my enemy for years. And he’s looking at me like I’m the next deal he’s going to close.

He’s arrogant, infuriating, and devastatingly handsome. The moment our hands touch, I know I’m in trouble. But when the power goes out, and the heat between us flares, I realize this billionaire might be more dangerous to my heart than my cause.
Can I resist him long enough to uncover his secrets? Or will I lose myself in the enemy I’ve vowed to destroy?

Ethan
She’s the fiery lawyer determined to bring down my empire. And she just walked into my mansion—half-frozen and dripping with attitude.

Stuck together in a snowstorm, she’s all barbs and fire, but those sparks are starting to catch. Every touch, every look, ignites something I can’t control. She’s meant to be my enemy, yet here she is, sharing my bed, and making my heart race.

But can I trust her with my secrets? Or will she destroy me before I can convince her to stay?

Claire and Ethan are supposed to be enemies ,their families do not get along but when a fast blizzard comes along and traps her into a forced proximity situation with the opposition they both shift their position . Their beliefs as they get to know each other well as acting on impulse and urges as well . They dispel with myth and see the truth. She walked into his mansion half frozen to death and not able to catch a breath so he does what any Good Samaritan would and brings her indoors. She’s all barbs and fire and there’s desire there too ,he can feel it.Sharing his bed with his family’s sworn enemy is one thing but when she starts to make his heart zing ? She’s soon gonna need a wedding ring …but I guess they’d be eloping since the family feud and all . . Find out what happens in this intriguing short story with plenty of glory .

Welp, it was a short story alright, and it seems I do not like short story romances. I want more development between the characters and their storyline before the enemies start their romance and announce their love to each other and their families & colleagues. It was a quick read for me when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. Easy, predictable storyline. If you’re looking for something light and fast with a familiar arc, it might work for you..but I think I’ll stick to longer romances where the build-up feels more earned.

A nice quick read with a Hatfield and McCoy vibe.
Enemies to lovers, a family feud and a sweet resolution tied in a shiny bow.
It moved fast, a little choppy to get to the relationship, but it worked considering how short this novella is.
An enjoyable read with a surprisingly well thought out moral to the story.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a good quick read. The writing does seem a little simplistic and predictable but it has a decent storyline. The pining is slight but enough to keep you going. There is only one spicy scene but it is a short book.

This is a great book for those who are trying to get their reading goal reached and like a little spicy romance.

This was a fast-paced novella packed with interesting content. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it pulled me in - I finished it in under an hour. Because it’s such a short story, I did miss some deeper character development, but the overall execution was still really solid.
The enemies-to-lovers dynamic, paired with the found-family element, gets a quick history rundown that helps fill in some of the backstory.
A solid 3 stars from me - if this had been a full-length novel, it easily could’ve been a 4.

This is a very good romance book by Kiva that starts out with an eye-catching cover, and the storyline is very engaging all because of the wonderful characters about Claire and Ethan. This short read is a 5/5 stars and everyone will LOVE reading it.

Addicted to the Unthinkable is a heartbreaking yet beautiful love story that stayed with me long after I finished. Kiva Hart captures the kind of raw, messy emotions that make you believe in love even when it seems impossible. The connection between the characters is intense, vulnerable, and unforgettable. Their struggles and sacrifices pulled at my heart, and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way. This isn’t just a romance—it’s a journey of healing, passion, and the kind of love that changes you forever.

I received an ARC copy and this is my honest review

A little too quick on making the reconciliation believable, but not overwhelming at the same time. Spice? 2/5

This was a cute, quick read. I enjoyed it. Two people from different families, grew up as enemies. Caught in a storm together, they learn what they thought they knew about each other was wrong.

Ok

It's an okay book but not a lot of depth. Not sure that I am a big fan of the short stories as I like more to my story. The concept is cute though.

Addicted to the Unthinkable is a quick winter read that snows in Claire and Ethan, who are from feuding families. I loved how all the assumptions and family history are tied up neatly with a HEA in the novella.

MCs are from two feuding families. Surprised by a snowstorm, Claire arrives at Ethan's mansion. Influenced by the old feud and her family's narrative, Claire shows prejudice and distrust against him. Being snowed in and having an attraction, they finally have a chance to get to know each other and find out all about their families' dispute. With new information and their romance, they must stand against their parents and a hometown.
