The second installment in the omegaverse, this wonderful story follows Ursula and her path to finding a pack. Ursula is a true friend to Daphne, originally her make-up artist with a friendship that blossoms into becoming best friends quickly in the life of fame. With Ursula down on her luck, life being tight in all of the wrong places, and her self-depreciating thoughts, Daphne signs Ursula up for a reality TV show on how to Build-A-Pack-Blind, hoping to force her friend out of the comfort zone she is rooted to and, hopefully, to find love and acceptance as a pack is built from strangers. There are several contestants and the novel is written from multiple POVs, with some overlap on conversations or major events, but mostly written to continue moving the story forward. It is a delightful read as you see the events through the eyes of Ursula, Teddy, Mavren, Lysander, Ash, and Ronan, our FMC and MMCs. The fresh perspectives and insights into personal backstories of the characters unknown to the rest add pertinent background information while helping explain character decisions and the reactions of the remaining MCs. The various perspectives make the story the most interesting, in my opinion, as you get a complete feel for each of the characters, making the story more complete. I felt a range of emotions reading this story, from laughing to crying, feeling for the MCs and relating to them in ways I wasn’t prepared for. Great read with wonderful world-building.
