Apocalypse Mission I: Chaos, War, and the Antichrist

Rate this book
Unbelieving siblings. A mysterious package. And a series of prophecies that will change their lives forever.

Aurora Carter thought she had it all figured out—running her pottery business in the quaint town of Grand Marais, Minnesota. But when her long-lost cousin Drew, a devout Christian and investigative journalist, sends her a package with a cryptic warning, she brushes it off. Little does she know, Drew's murder is just the beginning of a chain of events that will shake her beliefs and lure her into one adventure after another.

As she delves deeper into the package, Aurora discovers that an angel had given Drew a series of prophecies and missions that must be fulfilled. But these missions are not meant for Drew—they are meant for Aurora and her unbelieving brothers. And with each mission comes a new danger, leading them down paths they never thought possible.

But as God's judgment looms over the world, what will the prophecies foretell? And when the Rapture leaves the siblings behind, what role will they play in the coming Tribulation?

For fans of spiritual thrillers like “Left Behind” and “This Present Darkness,” this gripping novel will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

**************

The biblical signs are being fulfilled daily. Half the people embrace lawlessness, disorder, and the ideologies of demons. The world turns not to God but to immorality. Churches everywhere abandon the Bible and preach apostasy. Depraved and sinful hearts declare that right is wrong, and wrong is right.

It’s all preparing the world for the coming of the Antichrist and the seven years of Tribulation.

Mark E. Fisher’s two bestselling series of Christian end-times thrillers—Days of the Apocalypse and Apocalypse Mission—adhere to a Christian worldview. Both closely follow the biblical end-times events prophesied by God in the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Matthew, Revelation, and others. And sometimes, characters from the second series will interact with characters from the first.

Mark wrote his first twelve pages at the age of ten, complete with drawings of a prairie fire, Indians, and a stampede. More recently he’s authored books of epic fantasy and historical fiction for the Christian and the general market. Mark E. Fisher’s eighth novel begins a series of Christian end-times thrillers based on the book of Revelation.

At various times, he has welded rails for the railroad, inspected glass in a glass factory, given checks to welfare clients, and programmed micro-code for IBM. He has helped plant a church and is active in Christian missions. He and his wife enjoy traveling with recent visits to Japan, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ireland, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Sometimes, on his travels, stories seek him out. Once a month, he plays guitar in the church band.

Mark's latest series of Christian end-times thrillers, DAYS OF THE APOCALYPSE, became an Amazon bestseller. The fifth and final book in the series is published in April, 2024.

Prior to this, Mark wrote three novels of Christian historical fiction set in ancient, Celtic Ireland. DEATH OF THE MASTER BUILDER, set in Renaissance Italy, followed and was written for the general market.

Mark has also published an epic high-fantasy series, The SCEPTER AND TOWER trilogy for young adults.

Appears to be a great beginning to a very strong well written series. After reading another author's series I greatly appreciate that words are spelled correctly and profanity is left out this book
I'm anxiously looking forward to the 2nd book of this series.

Another great end times novel!

I was eager to read this book and I was not disappointed! His previous novels were head and shoulders above most of the drivel I have been reading lately. They are biblically accurate without being totally predictable which is a hard combination to pull off. The characters are relatable and not the stereotypes too many Christian novels fall into. It reads like a adventure and not like a Bible study with just enough extra padding to qualify as a novel. I loved it and can't wait for the sequel to come out!

Great Book!

I totally enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put it down and binged read it. And just this morning I learned that Apocalypse Mission II will be out April 1st. That's only 12 days from now. Mark Fisher writes along with what our Bible teaches about end days. I'm so glad that I belong to Jesus Christ and believe that by the time these things are happening...I will be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Very good book about end of days...🙏❤️

I liked the start of this series a lot better than his previous one.
There were still things I did not quite agree with,
but by and large it was well written, and had lots of scriptures,
Biblical content, etc. (Yeah!),
was clean, ( no swearing of explicit sexual scenes etc).

It was pre-trib rapture, yeah again.
I am looking forward to the next in the series.

You had me... before the UFO's.

I was enjoying the book for the most part, although it jumped around quite a bit. Then you had to add in those "UFO'S"! Maybe they play a part later on, I'll never know because after about 30 more pages I couldn't deal with the jumping around and the spaceships any longer, and I abandoned ship. Sorry.

Apocalypse Mission 1: Chaos, War, and the Antichrist

This book is a great end times adventure story. Nothing is impossible with God. Just as The Bible has foretold, the followers of Jesus were taken from the earth, and evil took over. In this book, God shows how He is all powerful.

Great new series...it is hard to find good, well-written fiction novels that have a foundation in scripture. Series like these help those who have a hard time grasping the book of Revelation and help them visualize how things may play out. I think that is a great service to society. Thank you, Mark E. Fisher. So excited to read the entire planned 7-book series!

I love these books!

I am so happy I found this series. I loved Mr. Fisher's first series and this book has not disappointed. You just can't put them down. They broaden your understanding of the end times that, I believe, we are living in. Now, on to book two of nonstop action! If you are Christian, or not, you've got to read this series!

More exciting Biblical times

Fisher has done it again. He is using the same framework as his prior end times series with mostly new characters on a mission. They drag their feet, but Jesus is working miracles of belief in them. Fast paced…can’t wait for the next installment!

Emotional

It was hard to put the book down. It was reminded and encouraged to know that Jesus will return for believers and we will see him face to face. But, also we are reminded to share Jesus with others who don’t know Him.

Good read

I read the other books in this series. This novel fits right in. The story makes slot of mention of Aurora putting her hands on her head. Otherwise it is a good storyline

Good Read.

Good story line. Starts off kind of slow but picks back up. It's cool how the family slowly becomes believers after certain things happen.
