I was kindly given an Arc copy and would like to thank the author. I would say the storyline and the idea behind the book are very promising and could make up for a very good narrative but the style and some mistakes will need to be fixed up in order for that to happen. I think that after a good correction and maybe two more writings a new potential could be achieved. Everything works with time and patience and I would like to congratulate Blue Winter for allowing us a window to her mind and a vision on maybe a good future ahead of her.

Author Blue Winter’s mafia story is filled with forbidden drama, much of it coming from Mia and her involvement with her ex-Jamie and her new love interest, Romeo. The story has some dark and serious themes, especially those involving Mia and Jamie. Though it is a mafia story, I felt most of it is centered around Mia and her ex’s relationship and her challenges dealing with it. The dialogue between the characters sometimes felt forced, which impacted the fluidity of the story. The Epilogue was a lovely closure.

I was given an arc copy of this book for an honest review.
This book definitely needs a lot of help. The plot was okay but the book itself self was all over the place. It would jump from first person perspective to third person and it was constantly repeating things over and over again. Or the same line would show up multiple times. Random characters would should up out of no where with no context like you are just supposed to know who the person was.
It almost felt like a teenager wrote this or an AI generator.
Keep writing. You’ll only get better from here

This book kept me hooked from start to finish! The dark mafia storyline was intense, with just the right mix of romance, danger, and emotional twists. The author did a great job capturing the raw emotions, including anxiety and resilience, while still giving us moments of hope and connection. It's not your typical romance—it's gritty and gripping, but that's what makes it so memorable. Definitely worth the read!

I struggled to get through this book, I felt as though there was a lot of information missing in the scene.
I feel the scene transitions are very clunky and not seem less..
I think with a bit of work this book could be amazing 😍
I also found Romeo talking in Italian then for it to be translated straight after odd ..

I am a arc reader for this book.
It was really hard to get into the story and trying to finish the book.
The story line is amazing but it feels like there is some informations missing sometimes in between chapters or even paragraphs. The Italian to english and sometimes the English to Italian was confusing at times.
This book has great potential but it needs a lot of work.

First, I'd like to say how beautiful the cover of this book is!!!
Mia is a very strong woman. The abuse she endured from Jaime was unbearable, yet Romeo helped pull her from that abusive place in life. Jaime is a total a-hole. This read contains some spicy parts.

Exciting, Romantic, possessive and also full of violence.
The story was sad , twisted and also romantic

This is an emotionally laden read, so do check the trigger warnings.
A fast-paced short read, filled with abuse and healing and twists and turns I didn't see coming.
While Jaime was the villain of the story, he was written in such a way that I didn't see exactly how much of a villain he really is.

This is 1st book in series. A mafia with a bit of Sister's bff story. Mia had been in an abusive relationship, and that pesky ex Jamie can't seem to get it. And then Romeo comes along to win her over. He would do anything for her-love that!
I do prefer more of a possessive alpha type in my mafia stories. This may be a nice start for those who are just starting to branch out from regular romance into something more. The story is fast-paced. Maybe adding more details to character build and flow the story a bit more. It does have a lot of spicy scenes. Which you will enjoy 😉.
Due to the nature of some of the storylines, please see trigger warnings as there are some heavy subjects in the story.

No matter the negative reviews i very much so honestly enjoyed this Mia wanted life for the riches again but wasn't sure if she fit in anymore... I instantly disliked Jamie I thought he was a douche but when she gets with Romeo I loved his character in time Mia will heal from the abuse and pain Jamie has cause and they end up with children together but does Jamie stay away for good ?! There is work to be done. The story line is very good but the way it’s written needs some work for sure, I love the dark romance and the way the characters come together. But I did get confused a few time trying to figure out what was going on and the random time jumps…. Keep writing I can’t wait to see what you’re up to next!
