There's been an accident at Santa's Workshop. He needs to desperately replace what he lost at the North Pole. This Christmas horror story will make you think twice about being on the naughty list.
A good twist from coal in your stocking if you've been naughty this year. This would definitely make kids think about being naughty or nice. Some short stories, like this one don't need anything extra to get a great and fun point across!
This is a sure hit and not to missed during the Christmas Season! I have given this story 4 Naughty 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Stars!!
A great concept! This would make a fantastic full length novel. The horror story of what happens to naughty children. Too short just when it got good it was over!
This is meant to be 23 pages, but it's not. The actual story is maybe 9 or 10 pages in total and then the rest of the file is promo guff for other stories by the author.
Glad I got this as a freebie on Amazon, I'd have been very upset if I paid for it.
The writing needs editing, it's passive and full of adjectives and adverbs that clutter the already short story. Nothing really happens, there's zero character growth or development, very little outside of some basic scene description and filler content.
Do not recommend and wouldn't look at other works by this author based on the writing inside this one.
I totally dig the idea of this story. However, to me it didn't read as a short story... more like the beginning of something bigger that the author just decided to never finish... I would LOVE if the author decided to create a complete novel along the lines of this storyline. Definitely, my kind of tale.
Here's a VERY good, short story: Checking It Twice by Melissa L. Webb! When I read it, I actually hoped for more, but alas, there was none...
Have you any idea what Santa would do if there was a shortage of elves? What if there was a shortage of elves, close to the Christmas deadline? This story answers such a hypothetical. It's the story of a boy who finds out first-hand when Santa's gotta do what Santa's gotta do.
Written with an air of mystery, this short is sure to please- especially the ending. I honestly wished there was more. I guess I'll have to see what else Ms. Webb has to offer! On to the next read!
Synopsis:"There's been an accident at Santa's Workshop. He needs to desperately replace what he lost at the North Pole. This Christmas horror story will make you think twice about being on the naughty list. Christmas horror short story."
My Review: This is something a little on the darker side for those who may not be so in the Christmas spirit. It was a very short read, and I would have loved to have had more back story and even more after as well. It is an interesting take on the elves and the naughty list, one that my have those naughty kids rethinking their actions.
This book is far from 23 pages. It took all of a minute to read, was probably 5 pages. The "story" is about how elves are found for Santa's shop. There was nothing entertaining, or informative at all. The story wasn't developed, and don't ask me what age range it's intended for... Not for adults, and if it's made to scare children I have a feeling they would be as unamused as i was.
Free for the Kindle. A quick 3 minute read that is a Christmas story NOT for kids. Tells what really happens to naughty children and it isn't getting a lump of coal. Glad I didn't pay money for this.
This very short story has become a holiday tradition in my family! It is a quick cautionary tale about just what Santa does to punish naughty kids (hint, it isn't lumps of coal in their stocking). We read it to one another each year. Again, it is very short, but quite creative and fun!
Ahhh! Fast read and it made me think twice about elves. Interesting idea. I will have to try to think happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts :)
