This book might make you wanna throw it across the room by the end of it…. In the best way possible!
This was a quick and easy read for me. A page turner! You are lead to believe something, then it pivots and you believe something else right up until the last page!
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fast paced thriller that leaves you guessing until the very end!!!
Holy smokes, I did not see that coming. This book is a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ must read, can't put it down, intense keeps you guessing type of book. I thought I had it all figured out but heck No, BAM hits you right in the face, I hope there is a book 2 coming out cause I need to know what happens next. Wow, Whitney's writing is amazing for sure, you think you know and then a twist pops up and changes it for sure. It is a slow burn at first but after like chapter 5 or 6 it picks up and doesn't stop.
This book was a little slow leading up to the event but once it picks up this book will have you guessing who done it till the last page .
Three sets of couples go on vacation together to Fl. Things seem to be going good for the most part ‘till one of them makes a decision that will cost them their life . The fall out will have you guessing and wanting more .
Weeeeelllll Whitney has done it again! With the shock factor! I cannot believe more than one person had secrets!! The ending was not what I expected and I had two people in mind for who did it. I will say I was definitely right the first time!!
Another great thriller from this author! The beginning was a little slow for me but once it picked up a little less than halfway through, it really sucked me in. This follows a group of three friends and their husbands who go on vacation in Florida. The friends and marriages are so diverse that it really makes for a great storyline. One friend goes missing and they end up finding her body. Now it’s all about finding who did it.
I had my theories throughout this book. None of which were true. The ending had me shocked. I would have NEVER guessed.this book does leave off on a cliffhanger that will leave you begging for book two!
This book was everything I didn't know I needed! Kept you guessing and speculating the entire time. I thought I had it figured out ... but the last 2 pages really took a turn and surprised me. Will be reading more by Whitney!
This book was excellent! Amazing character development and so, so many secrets. Murder, mystery, infidelity, romance, and thrill!! I’ve loved everything I’ve read from this author. I wanted to scream at a few of the characters in this book. Great work, Whitney! ❤️
You know how there's a character type that you just love to hate? It's different for each of us, but this one is mine. The one who you think is your best friend. The one you trust implicitly. The one who you just KNOW will respect your family, your marriage, your home, your values... When you're a conservative, demure woman, she is your compliment. The "yin" to your "yang". In this story, that's Maya. Sure, she has obvious "flaws". She rubs people the wrong way because she's one of "those" women- strong-willed, selfish, a little hateful (but in that cutesy 'that's just Maya' sort of way). She's unapolegetic. She flirts with e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e, even though she's married to the absolute sweetest guy in the world! So when she goes missing during a vacation with two other couples , who do you suspect? Her husband (always the first suspect, right?)? Her best friend? A secret lover? The thing I love most about this author's writing is her character development. I literally hate Maya. I'm glad she's dead. I'm definitely more of an Amelia. And the killer? Good luck guessing, folks, because even as I re-read, I still didn't see this one coming.
First let me say I can really see Whitney’s growth in this book from her previous books like Maggie. The editing is better, word choice and usage are Improved too.
Secondly, Maya maya maya what a life you lead, so many secrets so much nastiness in your wake.
I’m not gonna lie the who dun it toward the end of the book had my head reeling so much so that I literally thought it was 3. Different people none of whom were the one in jail for the crime.
It was a wild ride for sure that actually left me with questions even though we got some answers.
Like I said overall I enjoyed this book solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and while there was certainly spice elements and eluding there wasn’t much explicit so for that I’ll give it 🌶️🌶️.
Looking forward to more by this author I think next will be last fix.
I’m still trying to process the ending of this book. Lol! In this story we encounter Amelia her two friends and their husband on a vacation trip to Florida. What nobody knows or didn’t want to accept is that Maya is not so much as a good friend, but she was still very loved. However, she brakes Amelia’s heart, not once, but twice. Either way she couldn’t confront her friend due to some events that occur that had everyone on edge. What I didn’t expect was that Maya wasn’t the only one with secrets. 😱🫣 If you want to find out the series of events that occur in this story and discover hidden secrets I suggest you grab a copy. There’s a whole lot of drama, insecurities, secrets, suspense and mystery.
I could not put down Maya’s Secrets by Whitney Mayoral! The story begins with 3 couples going on a vacation getaway to Florida and let’s just say a hurricane comes through and destroys everything! I loved all the twists and turns and wish there were more pages to keep turning! I hope we have a part 2 on the way and I won’t say what I think the title should be because I don’t want to give any spoilers! I would definitely recommend this fabulous read by Whitney Mayoral.
OMG! This is her last book of the year! And as I suspected after reading all 4 of her books from this year, she hit this one out of the park! I did not see that ending coming... She had me guessing throughout the whole book! Strong start and stunning finish! Bravo, Whitney! Way to finish out your year!
*SPOILER INCLUDED* Oh girl. Sit back and enjoy this review because I am UPSET. I gave you 5 stars because wow phenomenal book . I wanted to give you 4 but realized it wasn’t fair because I was upset about finding myself wanting MORE . The twists and turns toward the end was outstanding, you outdid yourself. The only thing I would want more from this book is I need to know how Amelia did it, why she did it, and I also found myself needing to know what caused Parker’s change in behavior. I’m thrilled he changed but I just cannot pinpoint what the change was . I would also accept a second book *HINT HINT* can’t wait for your next book. You are growing as an author and I am so happy to be on this journey with you . <3

I absolutely loved this book , definitely recommend... It has many twist and turns and so many dirty little secrets spice is light but there and the ending was a shock to me . Kept me entertained the whole way through.
I mean I just can’t with this author! I have not picked up a book of hers and not be able to put it down. This book is a great thriller and you are constantly questioning who done it. Every time I thought I figured it out the next chapter had me second guessing myself. It is a must read!!!
Wow!!! What an incredible story. So many twists. When you think you know what or who i Whitney’s writing makes you doubt yourself. The ending is mind blowing. I really hope there is a book 2. I have to know what happened.
I loved this book. The suspense had a little bit of a slow build up but I didn't mind. The story had me intrigued from the first chapter. I wish this book had a part two lol. I'm so proud of Whitney and the writer she is becoming! I can't wait to read some more of hers.
Talk about plot twists and momentary what just happens. Be careful who you travel with, lies, deceit and secrets always follow. This book will keep you on your toes thinking you have it all figured out.
