Shadow Slave Volume 8 Lord Of Shadows: In this volume, we see a four-year time jump in the story, and we find the protagonist, Sunny, separated from everyone he knows due to the events at the end of volume 7. In this volume, Sunny is trying to find himself again, and in addition to his point of view, we have other parallel perspectives, such as Nephis's, which was really fun to read, Cassie's, which was very interesting to follow in this volume, and also Rain's, Sunny's sister, whose point of view I also found interesting to read because the goal she sets for herself is quite difficult, but it was satisfying to see her achieve it. This volume didn't have as many action scenes as the previous ones; it focused more on character development, and I especially loved the development of the romantic relationship between Sunny and Nephis, which I couldn't wait to see happen, and when it does, it's really great. This volume ends with the promise of a bloody war approaching and sets the stage for the next volume to be epic, especially with the arrival of an absurdly powerful enemy. My hype to read the next volume is through the roof, and I'm going to start reading it immediately. I hope it's a great volume like the previous ones were.

I’m so happy. We have finally reached the romance we have been dying for since the first volumes. Sunny I’m proud of you. This volume was a lot more relaxed and chill compared to the others. Focused more on character interactions rather than just war. Really excited for what’s to come. I expect another thousand chapters of war 🫡

This was the most painful and at the same time hilarious volume I have read. I love how their relationship developed but it hurt so much that no one remembers him but has a recollection of him. Also, Cassie, I finally forgive you my girl. The length which you have gone through for Sunny is no joke anymore

This volume was a complete switch-up from the previous, and I absolutely loved it. One of my favorite problems with the story so far was the lack of mundane moments and developments outside of pure action, but this volume delivered all of that and more. The interactions Sunny had with members of the cohort and others following the result of the third nightmare were intense and at times made me feel Sunny’s grief. Last but certainly not least, Sunny and Nephis… I had my legs kicking in the air like a middle-schooler on a voice call. (That last scene!!!)

Review shadow slave vol 8 Lord of Shadows, chapter dibuka dengan vibes murung, dan rasanya sedih banget setiap ada momen flashback ataupun callback karena sunny dah jadi fateless dan dilupakan semua orang. Tapi gak cuma sedih, kita dapat romance yang sudah lama ditunggu sejak vol 1, sunny full aura farming and rizz, porsi penokohan buat rain makin gacor, bahkan setup untuk domain war nya juga mantap. Last but not least, setelah biasanya kita dapat pov sunny, skrg kita merasakan berbagai pov lain yang gak kalah asik dan menggelitik. Volume yang sangat amat relaxing setelah keseruan 3rd nightmare dan sebelum domain war.

Amazing, complete switch up from the previous volumes. I found it extremely enjoyable to see the characters interact in a more relaxed setting, with action taking a back seat. Volume 8 had me desperate to read the next chapters for the sake of the romance sub plot, something I never thought I would enjoy. Although I typically dislike narrative switching in books, it was masterfully done here. Of course there were a few slow spots, but the euphoric feelings the rest of the volume gave off, dwarfs any of the lows the volume had. Easy 4.8+

This volume was a nice change of pace, similar to the first time that I get to experience as reader about the real world and I truly enjoyed every moment of it.

I thought of it like a slice-of-life section at the beginning of this volume but had enough action to keep me from being hooked into the chapters themselves. The latter parts of it revealed some crucial details on not only the background story of the whole world but also the different factions that has ever existed in the world.

It was a refreshing volume to say the least.

This Volume was AMAZING. I loved the slower change of pace and just seeing what sunny is up too now as a Saint. It is so much more relaxed and really just lets you see what is going on in the world at the moment. Also seeing how Sunny is using is transformation to live multiple different lives at the same time is awesome and lets you see so much more of the world.

might be my favorite volume so far because of how long this slow burn romance has been building up, and for it all to come together makes this so good. of course, how he still interacts with his cohort despite being ripped from the world makes the build up so much more better when he gets to finally talk with his old crew.

Ahhhh, que hermoso libro, aunque es triste ver a Sunny tan solo y por lo que tuvo que pasar, la verdad es que fue muy emocionante ver su coqueteo con Neph, me sentí adolescente de nuevo.
A pesar de todo si se siente como un bajón después de la Antártida y la tumba de Ariel, pero eso sí, las risas no faltaron.
Extrañaba mucho sus burlas a Kai ❤️

Moc se toho nestane ale posouvají se vztahy, konečně po 1700 kapitolách...
