Lanie Jordan writes stories. Sometimes her characters drive her crazy, but then she gets her revenge by making their lives more difficult. Fictional payback is fun.

Amelia has a curse on her family. If she does not save the love of a chosen human, she will forever be cursed without love herself. The problem is, the demon is trying to steal the love of the ex boyfriend who cheated on her so Amelia doesn't really want to help him.
This is a light, entertaining Valentine's Day story for fans of paranormal romance. Amelia is miserable at losing her boyfriend and not impressed that she has to save him from this demon when part of her wants him to suffer. She is not exactly the smartest girl in the world as you'll see when the plot gets to where they discuss his cheating. Doh! Stupid dumb girl alert! I liked the cute wee demon that was chasing them around and there was a sprinkling of humour. The story was well written enough to amuse and entertain. A decent short read and I'm probably going to try more by this author.
LOL, if I'm not careful, my review is going to be longer than this book seeing how it was only 23 pages on my e-reader. I guess I hadn't realized it since GR didn't list a number of pages. It wasn't long enough for me to like it more than an "it was ok."
But the book was too cliche, to predictable, and honestly Amelia was kind of annoying, both in the way she told the story and her actions. I guess I liked this book enough. It kept me entertained for a good 10 minutes.
This is a refeshingly sweet story in a dark kind of way. The voice is wonderful and clever. I guarantee you will love this read. Quick and cute and very well written.
It speaks to the younger crowd but the voice is so entertaining, it is to be enjoyed by us all.
Short and cute. Could have had more padding in terms of backstory and secondary character development though, but I thoroughly enjoyed the narration and the injections of humour. A nice gem of a read!
