The second in series was every bit as good as the first, with Denny really growing on me as a self-deprecating, modest sleuth who just keeps finding himself in the wrong place.
While Murphy's book follows the general cozy "rules", I do appreciate the little nods - like acknowledging that frequent murders in these tiny towns are an unusual occurrence.
An enjoyable, page turner of a read, highly recommended.
