This book was so much fun, Wilde knows how to fully commit to the bit and make a "sentient object" romance seem entirely unselfconscious. It's going to live rent free in my head for the foreseeable future.

There’s a lot of negative reviews on this one and I understand why but this story wasn’t to be taken seriously from the get go and the author even warns readers ahead of time. Judging by the cover, y’all should know what to expect. I mean really😂 There was actually a solid story line there too regardless of how unrealistic this was. Give the author some credit lol.

I had the best time reading this story and can’t recommend it high enough for your Halloween TBR this season! This one’s for all my spooky ghoulies who love smut😉 you’re welcome!

I See You Pee…I See You Pee…I….got nothing. I really appreciated Holly Wilde’s efforts to develop some sort of a genuine story and plot ahead of the sexual encounters. Blackberry and licorice play, cummy gummies, references to butternut balls, and a litany of other holiday-filled sexual references, I had a good time with this one. Lots of a high-grade and entertaining sex with several lucky ladies and our lead monster, ManCandy. Brought me back to Carlton Mellick’s Cannibals of Candyland a bit. I fear that this set up a particular dynamic where I will become overly enthusiastic around candy moving forward. Is that so wrong? Holly Wilde, this is on your head. And if I ever need to be bailed out for any offenses like that, I call on you to be there for your fellow author. But, this was a good romp, best suited for fans of erotica and monster fetish business.

Argumento no hay mucho, lo justo para desarrollar una historia tradicional de Halloween.
Dos historias principales protagonizadas por tres Jack O'Lantern y por ManCandy. Divertidos hallowpeen y cummy gummy....

Lo único que no me ha gustado es el despliegue de vocabulario como rellenar mi pastel, regar mis crisantemos... cringe.

This was just as goofy and ridiculous as I’d hoped it would be. It’s set on Halloween night and there are 3 pumpkin headed monster demons and a monster made out of candy.

If you liked Layla Fae’s novellas, you’d like this one too.

It was entertaining and just what I needed today. There’s nothing like an absurd, smutty Halloween novella to get me out of book slump.

📖My Thoughts
Why yes, yes I did read this. Even though it was objectively terrible, I can't bring myself to give it a bad review because I knew what I was getting myself into. Sometimes you have to read the book for the memes, ok? I'm honestly impressed with the author's ability to work an autumnal pun in at every turn. The writing wasn't bad by any means and the editing was far better than some other popular books out there. Yes, it was terribly cheesy but incredibly fun to read with friends.

⚠️Triggers
The amount of puns used is probably the most triggering thing about this book. The book does also include kidnapping and some very explicit sex scenes.

🌶️Spice
This didn't have your average kind of spice. It had a latte spice. (A lot of spice? Get it? Yeah? Ok whatever, I did my best). The first major scene is with three pumpkins boys and a girl. Was it three? For some reason, it ended up feeling like another pumpkin boy slipped in there somewhere. I couldn't keep up. The next scene is with another female character and the ManCandy monster. Honestly, I really enjoyed the pumpkin boys more and felt like we got a little more lead up to it for me to really get into it. ManCandy felt sugar rushed. (super rushed..No?)

I'm shocked with what I'm about to say..... but I enjoyed this little novella. Was it my normal cup of pumpkin spice latte? Nope. Was it spicy? Surprising erotic, yes lol. Did it make me giggle the whole book? 100% This was a trip, let me tell you. I actually read this for a book reading challenge and someone suggested it.... ROFL I'm sorry I'm still cracking up at this one.

Long story short, it's Halloween and on a full moon, if you whispering a saying 3x (you know the drill), rumor is a demon will come and make you disappear. So of course, what does Asha do? She says it... thinking she'll either prove the urban legend false or find a missing Samantha. What goes down is an orgy with three Jack-o-lantern men... YES, you read that right...

Then Asha's friend also unlocks a different, but related, urban legend and she stumbles upon ManCandy... yes, he's a sexually charged man made out of candy. Look I'm not clever enough to make this up. Go read it.... if you dare.

Here’s the deal. I thought that there wasn’t a chance in hell that I’d rate this higher than 2 stars, yet here I am rating this 3. I’m just as surprised as you are. I haven’t read many holiday sentient object novellas (maybe 10?), but this is actually the best written one out of them all. I picked this up knowing I was in for a really silly read, and while it definitely delivered there, this also had…some sort of plot? Surprisingly, the nicknames for the heroine were…normal? I’ve read weirder sh!t in regular romance novels. Give me ‘pumpkin’ and ‘boo’ in a Halloween-themed novella any day of the week!

If a plethora of silly gourd puns with a reverse harem of h0rny jack-o’lanterns isn’t your thing, why the hell are you even picking this book up?
