A royal death no one expects. A royal crown changes hands. A royal tour that could end in tragedy.
Prince Alexander, heir to Valleria’s throne, has spent years preparing to be king. Now, as an unexpected death shifts the monarchy, it’s time for him to assume the throne. But is he ready?
Add in a heavily scrutinized royal tour to America with credible threats against him and his wife, Rebecca, the Royal Council doing everything they can to prevent his ascension to king, and a coronation becoming more complicated by the minute, and Alex wonders if he really is ready to rule.
And, as a health issue with Rebecca comes to a head, Alex is also forced to confront his ability to balance the life of a husband and king.
Come visit Valleria once again to see who takes the crown, who lives (and who doesn’t), and spend more time with Alex and Rebecca, along with all the royals.
This novel features a married royal couple balancing politics and personal challenges, a royal family that loves one another (even while they annoy each other), and a look behind fictional palace walls.
This is a standalone novel in the series with an HEA and no cliffhanger. Please look inside the book for full CW.

At the end of this book, the reader is invited, by the author , to read a short story entitled " Name " .
This review will also apply to this short story.
The author, who left her readers with the terrible news that Rebecca had lost her baby through the heart wrenching miscarriage , in the previous book about the Vallerian Royal Family as well as King Gabriel having a heart attack and the baby of the family, Ethan, a doctor in the Vallerian navy, having met Anda, an American actress for whom he has developed true feelings, to the point of advising his Father that she is the one for him, continues with this new step in the lives of Valleria's Royal Family
Very well written with a skillfully developed plot, this is the twelve book written on the subject that will affect the lives of the entire family and also touch on American relations and leadership with the small Country of Valleria.
It appears to me that I cannot give any snippet without revealing the entire story to the readers.
I will therefore state that I found this book to be one of the best written in the series with a series of events that capture the mind and heart of Valleria's Royal Family members followers. A page turner, I simply could not put the book down and rate it 5 Stars ++++++++++++ as well as highly recommend it.
However, the story does not end there as a short story is proposed to the readers after finishing reading Crowned. The short story is a master piece as it is separate from the main book ans touches deeply the lives of Alexander and Rebecca. I also rate this short story with 5 stars and highly recommend it.
Another great story from Valleria. Not too much to say because the spoilers are massive if you haven't read the series, but just know it picks up where the other books left off and features all of the family through a funeral, royal transition and lots of family news. Focused mostly on Alex and Rebecca, the others all make various appearances and the family story as a whole moves along significantly. Definitely not the book to start with, but if you've been reading the series (even if you've skipped a couple of the younger siblings) then enjoy this next step in their journeys.
Yip. I absolutely adore Alex and Rebecca, have been waiting for this instalment for quite some time. Love how the story is about them and definitely need a follow up book now please. However, I feel if any negatives there should have been more on Rebecca's mental health and not just gloss over it. But other than that please another would be lovely
