Earth has flooded, and the godkind sleep.

I think what bothers me the most is that this was told entirely from Torin’s perspective, not Rune’s. Unless Torin is the one who doesn’t have to choose between Rune and, I’m assuming, Bekkr, I don’t understand why it had to be told from his perspective.
Everything is about her, but we’re kept apart from her and her thoughts and motivations why? Because the author likes Torin? Will the next book be from her perspective and the third from Bekkr’s?
It’s well told, interesting and engaging and I will be reading the rest of the series, but as a romance reader I have expectations so the POV left a sour taste in my mouth.

Love it
This book capture my attention and had my imagination going wild with this imagery and detail, like all her worlds Ms. Fletcher create in her books. Get this book and I can't wait for the next one.
