The five-star unraveling of my life.
Devon Donnelly is a former British secret agent with ties to clandestine organizations. He’s also the proud new owner of The Manor at Winslet, and the host of my wedding from hell.
It may be a wedding, but there will be no marriage.
It all started six weeks ago when my world turned on a dime. Or, since I’m a Madison, it turned on a cool billion.

I have no one to save me, but I have a plan…
Dish up revenge with a side of spite.
And stay alive.
What isn’t a part of my plan is Devon. When I ask him to deliver a message to the devil waiting at the altar, he has no idea the disaster he’s about to step into. Our past and present becomes laced into one—in and out of the sheets.

Beautiful Revenge

If you've read any of BA's books, then this probably isn’t anything new to you. As usual, we’ve romance, suspense, instant attraction, forced proximity, a bulldozer MMC, and a strong-headed FMC. 🤭 I've read the same setup in most of her books, but am I really complaining? Absolutely not, I still devoured this book like my life depended on it. 😂 I couldn't be bothered even if I finished this at 1:30 AM. There's just something about her writing style and storytelling that kept me hooked time and time again, and this one's no different.

We've got Harlow (29), the no-show bride, and Devon (40), the manor's owner where Harlow's wedding was supposed to take place. She jilted her groom at the last minute, but this had all been planned from the start. She needed everything to go smoothly and perfectly because there were more important matters at stake. Devon was Harlow's temporary bridal assistant, stepping in after he let the original assistant go. He was the one who delivered the news to the groom and became her sort of guard and made sure no one could reach her.

That said, after everything went down, Harlow decided to extend her stay at the manor. The problem is all the rooms were booked for solid months, and no vacancy is available. But since Devon found her intriguing (and attractive 😉), he decided to invite her to stay with him at his penthouse. He thought it would be the least he could do for her after everything she went through that day, and cue forced proximity. 🤭

Have I mentioned Insta-something? Because, ngl, these two went from 0 to 100 in a flash. 😅 Was I surprised? Not really. Like I said, I've read this setup one too many times, but I'm still going to eat it up anyway. 😁 I think they were only roomies for less than a week before they added the "benefit" part in the equation. 😂 They were hawt, okay? I guess older men really knew what they were doing. Add in the accent—have I mentioned he's British? 🤭 Anyway, they were good together, even with the quick progression in their relationship/situationship.

Then we have the suspense. Tbh, a lot of things were happening at the same time, and it got a bit all over the place for a while. 🫣 There were just so many connections between their past and present that had my head spinning at one point. Also, if readers are looking for some heart-pounding action, they won't find it here. Everything got resolved way too quickly, and most of it was anticlimactic, to say the least. 😶 I'm a bit bummed, but I realized at the end of the day, the bad guys/gals got what was coming to them, so at least things turned out alright for the MCs, and they finally found some peace.

Overall, I loved it. I think I could only count on one hand the books I didn't enjoy from this author. She's an auto-read for me, and that's still very much the case. Anyhoo, now I'm excited to know more about the next couple. They were already introduced here, and I want to know more about them. 🤭

Book info:
— Age gap (11)
— Forced proximity
— Romantic suspense
— Small town
— Loss of loved one (from cancer, past)
— Billionaire heiress x Former Spy
— Instant attraction
— Roomie with benefits 😉
— No cheating, OW, separation
— Minor OM (she was supposed to get married, but the OM only appeared once after the failed wedding)
— No V (h - said 6 weeks, H - no info at all)
— HEA (5 yrs later, married, and with 2 girls)

I'm so freaking excited to get a new series by Brynne Asher and Beautiful Revenge did NOT disappoint! Right from the start, I knew something big was going to happen and the pace just took off. I love when a book immediately pulls me in.

I love getting to know so many new characters and even seeing a few we've already met in other series. So much happened and all I can say is I want more. I'm already itching for book two!

I listened to the audiobook and loved the duet narration. Samantha Brentmoor is one of my all time favorite narrators so I was happy to learn she was part of the duet. James Joseph is new to me and he did awesome. I highly recommend the audiobook version.

Oh my gosh, this book absolutely blew me away! The mix of tension, emotion, and that spark between the characters that only Brynne Asher can give me, was exactly what I wanted. Her writing always feels real and raw, like I’m right there with them through every look and bad decision that somehow makes sense. I couldn’t stop reading/listening because I had to know how it would all shake out.

May be a black-and-white image of street

I loved how the heavy moments were balanced with genuine heart. The intensity was not done in an over the top way, just the kind that made me feel every bit of it. By the end, I was a complete mess, in the best way, grinning, teary eyed, and ready to hit replay just so I could experience it all over again.

The narrators in this audiobook were phenomenal! Samantha Bretmoor and James Joseph were hands down the best I’ve ever heard. From the very first line, they didn’t just pull me into the story, they ripped me out of real life and dropped me right into the middle of it. Every emotion, every pause, every breath felt alive. It wasn’t just listening, it was experiencing the story as if I were standing beside the characters, watching it all unfold. This duet performance was cinematic! So vivid and powerful I could see every scene play out in my mind. Truly, this wasn’t narration, it was art.

I miss Brynnes older books😭 It's unfortunate that her newer ones have lost the spark that the Killers and previous books had. It was just the same drama over again, and nothing interesting happening. Barely any action or tension. The story was boring and the relationship was boring. It had a lot of potential too which makes it even worse 🥹

Before I even talk about our main characters, I just have to say I absolutely love how Brynne Asher can weave past characters into a current story and never have feel like too much. I often find myself quickly tired of a series or author when so many characters pop up from past books to the point I just feel confused. But with these characters and the way they're written in so flawlessly I never feel that way. And a new reader would have no problem coming into this world without reading the previous books, which is always the best.

Now on to Devon and Harlow...I loved them. The slow burning build of tension was done beautifully and had me devouring this story waiting for that spark between them to finally ignite. Their chemistry was just amazing and the push and pull between their different personalities had me loving them together. Every scene with them had me feeling chaotic in the best way. Wanting to know all their secrets, but also wanting more of the build up, it was all very well written to keep me entertained.

Overall, the pacing with the twists and the secrets was captivating and the romance was a perfect blend of danger and love. I really enjoyed this story and it came at the perfect time for me to take my mind off of real life at the moment and truly sucked me into the world that was built.

4.5 Beautiful Revenge Stars!!

Beautiful Revenge is the first book in Brynne Asher’s new “The Manor” series.

We’re introduced to Harlow Madison, the “American Princess” who abruptly cancels her wedding, after finding out she’s been betrayed by her fiancé, now with her life in jeopardy she sets out to make things right, but first she must make her beloved father safe and to do that she’ll need help.

Enter….Devon Donnelly, a former British agent (think 007🔥) turned luxury resort owner of “The Manor” at Winslet, whose reinvented life of forced retirement gets complicated when Harlow leaves her fiancé the altar….with Devon’s help. Now Devon is entangled in Harlow’s life’s more ways than one!

I loved the supporting characters, along with some old friends from her “Killers” series that I’m sure all BA’s fans will appreciate! Beautiful Revenge delivers a thrilling and satisfying read for fans of romantic suspense. If you like your romance with aghast, a smart & gutsy heroine, a broody hero, and imminent danger you’ll definitely enjoy this one!!! Looking forward to the next book!!!!

First, count how many mentions or appearances there are by people you KNOW. Trust me, you’ll enjoy this game. Because while this seems like a large world, it’s also not, if that makes sense.

Second, buckle up and enjoy the ride. The shocks, the anger, the danger, the betrayals, the angst, and the love that two people never saw coming for them? It’s all a fantastic journey from wondering the who and what to uncovering that last secret. All the while, the friendships and the loyalty and the love grow. And I want more.

I already know we’re going to see a few of these new faces again. I also know that a certain employee is likely to star in their own story. The question is, will it be the brother, the small-town guy with a past, or the next Brit who comes to visit? I honestly can’t wait to find out!

I’m very disappointed… the Killers series is my favourite book set ever and I also enjoyed her other books so I was really excited about this title but unfortunately I couldn’t even finish this book. From like 60% I was just skipping pages waiting for something to hold my interest but just got to 84% and dnf.

It’s just sooo boring and despite the fact that there’s so much drama going on in Harlows and then Devon’s live I just couldn’t be bothered about any of it, I don’t know why but just nothing holds my interest and also the way both of them deal with everything it’s just ridiculous… Devon calls Ozzy or his sister and Harlow calls Chrissy and that’s it, every issue is solved this way and every phone conversation is the same I just started skipping them after third time.
And about the main characters… they have no personality all it is to them- they are rich and Devon doesn’t like his business and Harlow is rich and doesn’t like to waste food.
There is nothing exciting about their relationship they just had sex after 2 days of knowing each other and that’s it they together there’s no chemistry between them they don’t even have time or energy for sex most of the time😂 boring and uneventful.
I wanted to give it a chance but it was really hard and it was only getting worse and less interesting.

** Audio Review **
What an addictive, wild ride! Beautiful Revenge by Brynne Asher was a suspenseful and swoony romance that had my heart in knots and on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I couldnt get enough of Harlow and Devon’s witty, delicious banter and tension filled situations that led to the most delectable intimate moments. This is definitely a new favorite from Brynne Asher!

Samantha Brentmoor and James Joseph perform this audiobook in duet-style narration. This was the narrator pairing I didn’t know I needed because both did a phenomenal job with their accent work and various character voices! I’m in awe! Samantha’s expressive, lively voice perfectly captured Harlow’s spitfire, devoted personality as she protected her family and gave into the temptation that was Devon Donnelly. James’ performance showcased Devon’s tainted, tortured soul turned observant, confident hero brilliantly. Plus, both narrators created a steamy hot undeniable chemistry between Harlow and Devon that simply made me melt.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small town romance with a hot broody former operative, an American princess of sorts, shady future husbands, wedding cancellations, missing fathers, Diner gossip, new suitemates, dangerous encounters, snarky banter, airplane steam, stepmom intrusions, secrets about the past, home renovations, a jaw dropping climax, intimate conversations, love declarations, and a HEA that is the sweetest revenge, then you will love Harlow and Devon’s story. I always look forward to more from Brynne Asher.

This was the first book I have read by this author and it certainly won't be my last. Devon and Harlow's story was fast paced from the very start. So much mystery and intrigue and I loved all the twists and turns that I never saw coming. I like how the epilogue went ahead 5 years so we could see what things looked like in the future. I am very much looking forward to the next book around the manor.

From the minute, Devon and Harper meet, you can feel the sparks.

I highly recommend this. It was a five star read for me.
I also did the Audible on this because when it comes to Samantha Brentmoor, how could you not?

The Manor at Winslet!!

Talk about explosive. We start out with a bang and it gets more intense with every page.

Harlow Madison is a runaway bride but without the running. So many secrets and plots come to light.

He held me there like I was a feather he plucked from the air to make a wish on.

Danger is Devon’s middle name at least it used to be before his life was turned upside down.

“Will you make me two more promises?” “I’ll move mountains for you.” Her first stipulation isn’t a surprise. “Don’t try to control me.”

The Britt & The American Princess are proof opposites attract.

“Promise you’ll make me feel alive.”

This was an exciting, steamy, sweet, fabulous read! Devon & Harlow are both BA in different ways & I loved them!!

I love the way this is written. There's a mystery as to why Harlow is making the decisions she does, and at some points you might start to doubt what's really going on. But this author does a fantastic job reeling that back in & the twists are just... well, I really enjoyed where they went!

Devon is smoldering & swoony in equal measure. Harlow is kinda hilarious sometimes & I love that she's not as stuck up as ppl assume. 😄 She just does a good job appearing that way when needed. And she is SO SMART! I love the way both her & Devon's brains work.

😍😍😍

Brynne is back at it again and working overtime to give us the goodness of her words and characters. With Beautiful Revenge comes an expanded world that introduces us to a whole new group of amazing characters, as well as glimpses back at some of our favorites from The Agents and The Killers series.

Summary:

Harlow Madison has lived almost all her life in the spotlight. If anything, she was pushed, kicking and screaming, into the public eye and raised with the eyes of the entire world watching her. She’s become used to the feeling of eyes on her and attention she’d rather not have. But the attention and eyes are about to get a whole lot more tense when she purposefully turns her fairytale, billionaire nuptials into a wedding from hell. It may be a wedding, but there will be no marriage at the end of the day. It all started six weeks ago when Harlow’s life seemed to implode in an instant, with one email. She’s not only been planning and preparing for what the world sees as the wedding and billionaire alliance of the century, but also an epic escape. Harlow’s in trouble and everything is at stake. Her family’s company, legacy, and even her life. With no one to save her, she comes up with a plan. She’ll hopefully get to live while dishing up revenge. What wasn’t a part of her plan was Devon Donnelly, the reluctantly retired MI6 operative turned businessman. Devon has no idea the disaster he’s walking into when Harlow asks him to deliver a letter to the devil waiting at the altar. Suddenly, both their pasts and presents become entangled, in more ways than one. Harlow's demons collide with Devon’s ghosts and lives are at stake. Family secrets are revealed. And ground zero is The Manor.

I really enjoyed this first book in a new connected series. This book had a little bit different of a feel than Brynne’s other books, but still firmly Brynne’s voice, if that makes sense. I felt we got all the steamy romance and suspense of Brynne’s writing with an added mystery element. Harlow was not at all a damsel in distress despite being an heiress and socialite. When stuff went down, she didn’t wait for anyone to save her, but instead went about doing what she had to, to save herself. I loved her strength, smarts, determination, passion, and loyalty. Even scared and not having a clue about what she was doing, she stayed strong. Devon was a Donnelly to be sure. He had all the qualities we loved about Bella and more, just in a male version. I loved that Brynne expressed his unrest with the unexpected direction his life took, and how he was coping with those feelings. I loved more that we saw him come to terms with what happened, and saw him moving on from that, maybe still with feelings of longing, but not settling for less for his future either. It was more that his passion, loyalty, and love for his career switched to the new career path he had chosen. As a couple, I had my doubts that Harlow and Devon would be a good match. I honestly couldn’t see it at the beginning of the book. Lol. They were complete opposites, both in situations they had never imagined themselves being in, with danger around every corner. I should have known not to worry, though, when one of my favorite authors is creating the characters. Harlow and Devon had sparks and not only from chemistry. I enjoyed seeing them butt heads a bit at the beginning, learning about each other, and eventually leaning on the other in ways they never knew they were missing. Those sparks also made their intimate scenes that much more anticipated and hot. In the end, Beautiful Revenge was a great read, that kept me engaged in the plot and mystery of what would happen next and the promise of learning why characters were making the choices they were. Supporting cast cannot be bad when we are given a bounty of new characters to slowly get to know as well as quality time with our old favorites. The connections in this book are top-notch. The plot was plotting and I was here for the added mystery, and trying to work out why certain choices or actions were made. We are also left with a bit of mystery at the end that will have us tying Brynne to her keyboard in order to get it back to us ASAP. That said, I did guess one of the mysteries pretty early on, and had an idea about another one, so neither had that “big reveal” quality I think would have added more excitement. This isn’t anything that took away from the story for me in any way, and I don't know that anything could have been written differently to make it more of a reveal. I mention them because one of the elements’ resolution wasn’t as big as I thought it would or could be. With the air of mystery and buildup, I felt the culmination could have been bigger, and considering the players involved, maybe should have been. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my time with Harlow, Devon, and their rag-tag bunch. I’m looking forward to more books in this series and already have my wishes for who comes next! ♡

Absolutely EXQUISITE, Harlow and Devon are a BLAST!!

Harlow and Devon are a fun time in Brynne Asher's Beautiful Revenge!

The Narrators Samantha Brentmoor and James Joseph have the best banter throughout Brynne Asher's first Duet Romance Novel, and I had the best time!

I will admit that I was slightly confused during the first couple chapters where I'm used to going back and forth from female main character to male main character from chapter to chapter, but with Beautiful Revenge as they go back and forth as they speak you do have to pay a bit more attention, but it was a BLAST!!

Harlow has shown up at Winslet Manor with her supposed soon to be husband, Albert Humphries, and we are plopped into the wedding rehearsal with everyone except Patrick (Harlow's Dad), and her birth mother. Albert is blathering on about how if she hurries up then Janie, her step-mom will slither back to Manhattan where she belongs.

Harlow has been without her real mom since she was thirteen, and now she's been without Patrick for some time too, as he suddenly fell ill, and she's only had Janie to keep her company for this little while. When Harlow heads back to the dressing room things suddenly take a turn, and she announces she'll be staying a while at Winslet.

When Devon is trying to explain to Harlow, quite honestly the most beautiful woman he's EVER seen that they have absolutely ZERO ROOM at the Winslet, Janie comes barging for the door trying to get in and screaming that Harlow has to fix the situation and marry Albert at once! In the middle of their disagreement over the fact that Harlow says she will NEVER be marrying Albert, Janie gets a phone call informing her that Patrick has gone missing!!

At that point Harlow informs Janie that she better fix the situation, and find Patrick otherwise she will notify Stonebridge that Janie was the one that was in charge of him, much to Harlow's dismay, and that Janie is the one who unfortunately has lost host him! So Devon stays to see if he can help Harlow figure out where Patrick might be. He is, of course, enamored of Harlow, who wouldn't be? She's GORGEOUS!!

Devon isn't just the Owner of the Winslet Manor, he's a former MI-6, hiding out in the United States because his sister Isabella's cover got burned during a operative therefore burning his cover at the same time.

Anywho, it doesn't take long for Devon to figure out exactly what is going on with Harlow and why, and to basically threaten her on their first walk around The Manor. But things haven't gotten REALLY exciting yet! There is so much more that happens, and by the time the FINALLY end up in bed together it felt like a dang century had gone by!! I promise you if you're listening to it on Audible or just reading the Kindle it is SO HAWT your own ears will turn red! I was listening to it and beginning to feel uncomfortable, I needed speakers I swear. 😍🥵 That scene on the plane is just lavish and about as ki*ky as I like to get on Audible, WOW!!

That is definitely NOT the end! I absolutely was NOT prepared for the three gunshot wounds on the tennis courts (everyone is fine!) or the scene between Chrissie and Jett Cross! I could not keep up with all the back and forth between the Donnelly's and Harlow's Dad, and MORE.

Y'all are just not prepared for all that goes down at the Manor, and Grandma's house. All the different voices between Samantha Brentmoor and James Joseph, I never would have thought they were all the same two voices, it knocked me out of this world!! I have not been so impressed by one of Brynne Asher's Audible books in years, I'm absolutely speechless!!

What a start to a new series! I just finished book 1 and I’m already counting down the days to book 2!

Beautiful Revenge is everything I love in a Brynne Asher romance read — intense, addictive, full of heat, danger, humour, and emotion, with characters who leave you with a book hangover like no other. This story had me hooked from start to finish and reminded me exactly why Brynne will always be one of my all-time favourite authors.

Harlow Madison is a standout heroine. An American heiress whose life implodes when she reads an email that wasn’t meant for her, just weeks before her wedding. One that has her questioning everything and changes her life, setting her on a collision course with a broody handsome Brit and a path of revenge. She’s fiery, brave, and determined, and instead of falling apart, she comes back fighting. Her strength, vulnerability, and sense of humour make her impossible not to like, and watching her take control of her own story was one of my favourite parts of the book.

If, like me, you’re Brynne Asher obsessed, you’ll remember Devon,as the British Secret agent from his sister Bella’s story, Scars. Devon Donnelly is everything a Brynne Asher hero should be — protective, intense, and powerful. A former British spy and now the new owner of The Manor at Winslet, Devon’s world collides with Harlow’s when he becomes her reluctant bridal assistant and unwitting hero on what should be her wedding day. Their chemistry is undeniable from the start, and the connection between them only deepens as secrets unravel and danger closes in. What begins as a deal based on lust, quickly becomes something much more — a love that’s fierce, all consuming, and built on trust.

This story has everything — sizzling chemistry, sharp dialogue, heart-stopping twists, and moments that made me laugh, swoon, and hold my breath. The push and pull between Harlow and Devon is pure perfection, and Brynne Asher once again delivers a story that’s gripping, heartfelt, and impossible to put down.

With Beautiful Revenge, Brynne has launched a brand-new series that already feels unmissable. Every chapter drew me in deeper, and every twist left me desperate for more. If this is book one, I can’t wait to see what comes next for The Manor.

I can’t recommend Beautiful Revenge enough — it’s everything you need and didn’t know you wanted, all wrapped up in one unforgettable read.

2.75 stars

Life has been stressful and busy but even so there’s no reason this book should’ve taken over 10 days to read so this is a very generous 3 stars round up… while I did kind of like it there was just way too much going on.

I also didn’t love the H being in hospitality, it didn’t really fit for Brynne Asher’s style. But yeah there were just way too many bad guys…the number of arrests by the end and there was still trouble on the loose 😅 ridiculous. The random “contract” that gets thrown in too 🙄 c’mon…there’s also an age gap but that wasn’t really discussed until late in the book. I just didn’t really love their transition from damsel in distress/property owner helping out to lovers. The build up wasn’t there because she was getting fucking married DAYS ago. I get that she’s been checked out of that relationship for weeks but it felt way too soon and obviously she’s not really in the market for anything after what just happened. There’s also some shit that’s a surprise at the end and very vaguely spoken about bc it’s more another characters situation and so I guess we’ll get the low down in the next book which is about them and they’re paired up with who I guessed they would be 😎👍 it’s Brynne Asher so this was an automatic read for me but not all of her books are hitting like I want them to recently 😪 in fact I DNF’d her release earlier this year so I’m sad about. Hoping book in this series 2 is better!

What you need to know:
- Protective, Mature, former British Intelligence MMC
- Smart, billionaire heiress, philanthropic FMC
- M/F
- HEA
- Forced proximity, adventure together
- Plenty of spice!
- NO miscommunication trope, NO third act breakup

Book review:
First of all, the paperback book is absolutely beautiful! I am so excited to add it to my shelf!
One thing I love about Brynne’s books is that the characters seem mature and make the best choices they can with the situation and information they have. At the same time as reading this book, I was also reading another book in a similar genre that was so frustrating because both the FMC and MMC were keeping secrets and making annoying choices that seemed so immature. Brynne’s characters have never made me frustrated or annoyed and I appreciate that so much! This book is a new setting with new main characters but supporting characters can be found in other series (highly recommend those as well). As the FMC and MMC collide, the mysteries in their individual backgrounds merge, forcing the characters together as they work to figure out the threats posed while developing feelings for each other. The story has plenty of twists and turns with big reveals that I did not see coming. The characters get their HEA but there are still plenty of mysteries to unravel. I am hoping we get to see the stories of some of the other characters that we meet in this book.

Audiobook review:
I love when audiobooks are performed in duet! Especially if one of the characters has an accent! The performers in the audiobook did an excellent job bringing each character to life and giving everyone a voice to fit the personality.

A page-turner from the first word to the last!

Brynne Asher does all the word things EXCEPTIONALLY well. That’s it. That’s the whole review. Go grab this book now, and just resign yourself to being unable to put it down until you’re done. All right, I fibbed. I can’t stop until I say that these are fantastic characters who bring plenty of intrigue and top-notch banter to the story. Make Brynne Asher a one-click author if she’s not already. You will be glad you did, because she never disappoints!

• THOUGHTS:
I have zero words. It took me forever to write this review, I was mindlessly staring at my phone. I love Brynne's books so much! Every new book is my favorite, but then I think, oh thats like saying I have a favorite child. You can't decide. I am always left with book hangover. Brynnes books are ones I can reread and never get sick of them! its like rewatching Friends.

Gah Devon Donnelly is the perfect grump. Harlow is the sweetest sunshine and matches him in every single way! His dead pan to her oh sweet comebacks that have the perfect amount of ohhh dannnggg. Harlow is smart and cunning, she is a straight-up baddy! Devon you only know bits and pices if him. But understanding him fully and who he is as a character, of course he is the grimpy brit, obviously he is former MI6. but he has snark, he is tentative, and he is oh so protective! Together Devon and Harlow are another perfect couple that was captured and given life through a talented writer. But its not just the MC that holds your attention, its the plot of the story, the setting and the side characters that keep you captivated and hanging on to every word. I highly recommend Beautiful Revenge, it takes you on a pretty epic roller coaster. The chemistry, banter, passion and thrill are all wrapped up and delivered flawlessly with Beautiful Revenge. So basically another epic novel that I have come to love with a Brynne Asher story. I highly recommend, quick go get the book

Brynne Asher, you absolutely nailed the start of this brand-new series, The Manor. What a wild ride Beautiful Revenge was. It’s a suspenseful romance with sharp wit, betrayal, and tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. Harlow was such an incredible FMC with a backbone made of steel. And Devon, this man, with his stalker tendencies (IYKYK), broodiness, and protectiveness, had me completely falling in love with him. Beautiful Revenge had me hooked from start to finish, and I can’t wait to see what Brynne Asher has in store for the rest of the series.

Audiobook
Samantha Brentmoor and James Joseph gave a fantastic duet-style narration performance of Beautiful Revenge. Samantha Brentmoor is quickly becoming one of my favorite female narrators. And James Joseph’s accent was simply captivating! Every time he uttered the word “Baby” in that British accent, my love for him grew a little stronger.

I always like Brynne Asher's books. She creates lovable characters and settings that you want to be a part of. This book was no different, and it was nice to see a crossover from the Killers series, as that was for sure a great one! There was a lot going on in this book, and maybe I read it too fast, but there were some connections I didn't quite make. It didn't hurt the book for me though and I'm looking forward to the next one.

blown away

Samantha Bretmoor and James Joseph brought this book to life with their incredible narration. I was so excited for a new series and it absolutely did not let me down. The chemistry, tension, and spark between the characters are magnetic. I did not want to stop listening or reading. I was completely hooked.

The storyline is gripping and keeps you on your toes the whole way through. I cannot wait to see what comes next.

I love a good romantic suspense and Brynne Asher never disappoints! I combined listening to the audio and reading the book. Both were excellent. Devon was a great hero, alpha, sexy, protective and possessive. Harlow was also a fantastic heroine! She took her future into her own hands, was extremely strong and smart. I loved these two together, the perfect pair. We get some good romance, scorching spice, lovable side characters and a good suspense plot. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Safety:
- No OW
- OM: in the beginning of the story h is about to marry OM. It was already her plan though, to leave him at the altar.
- No cheating
- No separation / no third act break up

5 Stars is not enough

A few books after I finish reading it I go back and re read it again. Brynne Asher did it again wrote a book that has you hooked from the start. Devon & Harlow are such an excellent couple who find themselves in a bad situation. If you're a fan of BA books you know her books have the best suspense that has you always in the edge of your seat. Twisty as a Corkscrew

How many tropes can an author fit into one story? Read Beautiful Revenge and find out. Apparently more than you can fit clowns in a tiny car. It’s crazy! And just as amazing. You’ll get your money’s worth with this Asher-Extravaganza. A really nutrient dense novel. Enjoy that high energy!
