This little novella was EVERYTHING—pure serotonin in book form. The way Wes sees Liz?? I MELTED. Screaming, crying, smiling like an idiot the whole time. It’s short, but it HITS. The banter, the feelings, the kiss—chef's kiss perfection. I swear I need the WHOLE book rewritten from his POV, like YESTERDAY. Wes is the blueprint, the gold standard, the dream. Lynn Painter, you absolute genius, how dare you give us just a taste?? I need a full-course meal of Wes thoughts and Wes love. 5 stars, no questions, no notes, just MORE WES PLEASE. 😭💗🫶🏼📚💫

​ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Soft and silly and short, but still heart-melting fluff of the pinnacle moment of their relationship, where we get to sweeten the deal by getting a brief glimpse of Wes' heart.​ 🥹 Once again never beating the allegations that Libby had his heart long before she realized hers already belonged to him. Order is restored when it is just the two - exactly how he likes it - and nothing screams sentimental than a confession in the rain - even if it's them sitting soaked in the car, waiting for ​car assistance.​ 🩷🤍

As much as I would love for Ms. Lynn to re-release the entire book with Wes' perspective, I'm glad we're getting a few glimpses of selective but noteworthy scenes between the two, reminding me always why their chemistry won me over.​ 🌟
