this book is about an experimental island that has a bunch of different dinasours in there. and a bunch scientist go to the island to check it out and make sure its safe fo tourists and all that junk...its not...the dinasours get loose and cause havoc on the island. they kill a couple people. get some food. and overall the dinasours have a party while the humans are in distress, and eventually get off of the island

I loved all the Jurassic park books. I read them before the Movies. Some parts are slow and it was hard for me to remember some of the Scientific aspects but the story was entertaining and well thought. I really enjoyed them.

this book is very exciting after all it's about dinosaurs but it is very interesting

Only about 3/4 of the way through the book and I already know what I knew when I opened up the cover: not as good as the first. But at least it's better than the movie. Anyway, the plot is predictable, the "bad guys" die, at least one of the good guys dies, both of the kids come out alive, and there are dinosaurs! everywhere! The book plays out like a horror movie with breaks in between paragraphs in an attempt to create suspense.

Other than that, I was able to get through the book because at least Crichton can create a few characters who are somewhat believable.
