This was absolutely spot on!

Fear can be crippling, and so often we're the last to see it. I love how Warren & Minirth move so gently from explaining the behavior of children to showing us how to explore our own dark closets. Know that if we don't outgrow our own childhood, we remain as overgrown children, and we WILL pass that on through the generations. (There, I've said it so much more crudely than they.)

And know this, that perfect loves drives out fear. For there is no fear in love...

It's a great book for helping children overcome their fears. Addressing underlying fears every child feels can be viewed as preventative medicine. If your child's basic fears are not allayed, they will eventually surface again and again in various disguises. Unhappy adults can often be traced back to unresolved fears of childhood. Eye opening book.
