This was one of the best finales I've ever read! I love how Beswick managed to combine all the characters and bring them together in the most natural, unforced manner.
Also, for a novel that centers around a great war, this one is hella emotional, so approach with caution, for you'll be sobbing over a few of your favorite characters.

My only gripe with the series initially was some unlikable characters. Little did I know, that just paved the way for a well-earned payoff of character development in the latter half of the series.

An epic conclusion filled with heartache but with a bright ending. Characters are given satisfactory endings but I hope to see more from them in the future.

Seemed like a rushed cheesy ending but I was kind of expecting that so that’s okay. Nice to finally see all the characters together and their storylines wrap up. 3 stars.

The final hammer falls in the second half of A.P. Beswick’s epic crossover event. A War of Chaos and Fury - Part 2 has the monumental task of delivering on the immense setup of Part 1, and for the most part, it succeeds beautifully. While the book suffers from some whiplash-inducing pacing issues as it races to tie up every loose thread, the sheer quality of the action and the deep emotional resolutions provide a highly satisfying end to the saga.
If Part 1 was the slow march to war, Part 2 is the explosive explosion of conflict. The battle sequences are some of the most creative and visceral in the entire series.
The absolute standout moment of the frontline chaos is Ulrich’s necromantic return. It injects a thrilling, dark energy into the conflict, shifting the tactical landscape of the battlefield and giving fans a genuinely hype-worthy moment of dark sorcery.
The emotional core of the finale rests squarely on Laith's shoulders, and his resolution is handled masterfully. After the agony of watching him compromised by the god of chaos, seeing him finally shed the suffocating soul of Rhagor is a massive relief. Beswick grounds this high-fantasy exorcism in raw human emotion, making the moment Laith finally looks upon his daughter's face the most poignant, tear-jerking beat of the entire book. It is a beautiful, earned redemption arc.
The handling of the ultimate antagonist duties provides one of the most interesting talking points of the finale. Having Morgana become the final vessel feels undeniably rushed. Dropped into the narrative at the last minute, the transition lacks the organic, slow-burn setup that Beswick usually excels at, making it feel like a sudden plot contrivance to shift the chess pieces into position.
Despite the forced execution, what this twist actually means for her character is fantastic. Given her tragic backstory, transforming her into the ultimate vessel gives her arc a fitting, dark, poetic justice that ultimately works in favor of her long-term legacy.
The primary element holding this book back from a perfect 5-star rating is its structure. The pacing is all over the place. The narrative fluctuates wildly between breathless, hyper-speed combat and abrupt lulls as the story panics to wrap up a dozen different character subplots. It feels less like a smooth, marching crescendo and more like a series of brilliant, explosive sprints with erratic stops in between.

Now this... THIS... is what I'm talking about. This book takes everything that the previous books set up (especially the last book), the world, the characters, all of it, and brings it together. After sitting on it for a bit, this is definitely my favorite of the six Levanthria books simply due to how well it made the whole series feel earned and worth the journey I took.
The world building has always been a stand out in these books, and it is utilized in very unique ways here. The plot as well was very intriguing, and had some twists that I didn't see coming. The character arcs wrapped up in ways that felt very earned, and it genuinely felt like anyone could die at any given moment.
One of the biggest stand outs for me was the villain: Rhagor. In the last book, he wasn't all that interesting to me. Just a big bad who wants to rule the world and a reason for all the characters to get together to stop him. But there are some interesting things done with him here, with one specific scene that is still playing in my head for how incredible it was. He's not a crazy in-depth villain, but he became more of an interesting character by the end.

Wow. That's all I can say about this book. I've had my issues with the previous entries, while they were good, something was always holding it back. This one didn't. This was an absolutely perfect ending to the series. My only, and I do mean only, complaint of the book, is the holding back of killing more of the characters. With how the series built up, and how impossible the stakes were, it seemed like the author let certain characters live because he didn't want to kill them off and upset readers. I understand, but there is really not much of a reason on why some of them survived. They just did.
Besides that, I loved everything about it. The majority of the book is the final battle/war. And it was so cool bouncing between all the different angles and seeing what was happening where. And also, all the hints and "visions" throughout the series being realized in a way I didn't expect until the end was a nice touch. I'm incredibly glad I gave this series a chance, and kept going after I wasn't fully convinced after the first couple books.
After the ending, and the "Afterwords" at the end, I'm excited to see what comes next, and hope something actually does come next. It sounds like that's the plan, and I'd love to keep exploring this world.

By far Beswick’s strongest tale so far, filled with countless pages of action and, at times, hyper-violence. The majority of characters that he brought together for the epic finale to his seminal series were well-fleshed out and developed. Many of their plot points felt fairly well-concluded, with only a handful of characters leaving me wanting more. There were some twists near the end which really took me by surprise, but it was mostly satisfying many of the threads that had been left hanging throughout the narrative.
As ever, I don’t think his writing style has quite achieved the very height of what he’s capable of, but I’m looking forward to see how he continues to develop this as an indie author.

A fitting end to the series.
Good old-fashioned good triumphs over evil — exactly what you want from a finale like this.
That said, for a series built and developed over several books, the ending did feel a little rushed. I found myself wishing for just a bit more space to let the story breathe and to give the characters the send-off they truly deserved.
Still, the series as a whole has been a joy to read. The concept of weaving traditional folk stories into a modern fantasy world is clever, fresh and full of heart. It’s a great example of how old myths can find new life in contemporary storytelling.

Great conclusion to the main story! I’m definitely going to be catching up on the side stories to fill in the gaps and learn more about the world.
I know the author said he did his best with keeping the chapters in chronological order and it was ok but I think it could have been improved upon. The writing has improved significantly since the first book which was interesting to see while reading the entire series.
Overall I enjoyed the series and the world, it was different enough that I enjoyed it a lot.

So it all comes down to this... Congratulations A.P Beswick, what a journey and what an ending!
It must have been the week for finishing off series for me and it was with a little apprehension that I opened the cover of what was to be my final journey into Levanthria. With every book AP's writing style has developed, the characters made richer and the story more and more intriguing. This final instalment has a hell of a lot going on so the pacing is pretty much flat out from the start, pages fly by in a blur & while there are multiple POV's happening simultaneously, AP handles it so well that I found it easy to keep track and to switch to each characters role in the grand finale.
I am so glad that I took a punt on AP Beswick, these books have been really enjoyable, original and fun to lose myself in. I highly recommend the Levanthria Series & would add to read the Tales of Levanthria books, especially A house of powder and plot (It fills in a gap in the main books story).

This was the exact ending that I was hoping for, if I was going to make a complaint, the only thing I would have liked would have been more of my two favorite characters; Morvin, and Gregor. They did show up and it was glorious but the books in this series are so short there was definitely wasn't room for them, Beswick needed the entire book to wrap up the main characters. I can't understate how satisfying this ending was. I mean every character, even Morgana, had an amazing ending. I have a feeling this will be a series I revisit often.

Outstanding conclusion to the Levanthria series. The final battle played out as one would have suggested. I wish some aspects were longer and that certain characters had more of a role, considering how certain chapters were dedicated to them. But nevertheless, the book ended concluding the story and honestly…since the world was so great….wanting more (although true story is clearly wrapped up). One thread could be explored and I hope the author chooses to do so in the future.

This is a satisfying conclusion to a great series! I loved how all the characters came together in the end. The author balanced the roles of each well and brought satisfying conclusions to the arcs for each character. Also, The world building in this specific book of the series was my second favorite in the entire series (coming just behind A Stone of Destiny and Despair). All in all, he lands the Levanthria series well in this book!

Noooooooooo! It's over and I'm sad about it lol BUT he has another series and this one ended off where maaaaayyyybe one of the storylines will tie in to that one?? *sigh* I wish this one was longer... and had... more. Lol. It was 6 or 7 books, BUT they were all relatively short.
This is definitely a series I would enjoy again. Especially since there were sooooo many characters and all the stories tied together, but I sometimes forgot names and didn't realize right away. 😆

This definitely wrapped up all the pieces of the story and all the lines that finally merged together. I’ve spent the last year reading this series and I’m sad to see it end. I always hate to see favorite characters die too. I’m am happy with the way it wrapped up for sure. It was much more action packed than the first part.

The author’s writing definitely improved from the first book in this series to this one; however, there were still aspects of it that simply weren’t for me. This story was pretty good, but there were far too many perspectives within the story. Because of this I never felt fully invested in any aspects of the story and there were several things that I think could have been expanded on.

This series sounded good and started well but then it just became a story that held my curiosity but it was kind of lame. Clunky dialogue and only a few characters that made me care for them. The rest , were always whining and almost over acting. Lots of dumb one liners lol.

A phenomenal end to the series. All of the side books have come together. A favorite character of mine that I thought was gone came back for a bit. Others that I hated had a surprisingly good redemption arc. I like the way the series was wrapped up. Some might not be happy in the ending, but I was. Hoping the spinoff series with Veil of Stone is just as good!

I was an little disappointed in part 1 of A War of Chaos and Fury, but after delving into part 2 I realize a lot of it was the build up. Part 2 is full of action and so much loss. I am upset that A.P. Beswick killed my favorite character even if it was necessary. There are always casualties of war.

What an epic conclusion to this incredible series! We have made our peace with the dead, we have cried for them and we have rejoiced with the living.
I feel like each character had their story told and this final book was not rushed although a lot of action is packed in it.

This series really knocked me off my feet. I was enthralled with all of the interconnecting fables and deeply appreciated the way it all tied together. No stone was left unturned, and it was very satisfying to see it through to the end.

A good ending to this series. Although I don't think Morgana should have been given any form of forgiveness no matter her petinence.

What a great ending....the entire part 2. A full circle moment, epilogues of characters, and I know the 3rd book of Gregor is out so that will wrap up his story (I think)....all around great world building and fun. Love it.

This conclusion wove all the previous threads together brilliantly. The author has clearly grown into his writing style, and has vastly improved from his first book to this. This book was well written fast paced, keeping you interested throughout. Some characters you love, and some you hate.
