When the sun sets and darkness consumes the bayous of Southern Louisiana, a world comes alive that can neither be confined nor adequately described. It’s a place of ancient magic, filled with the music and laughter of a people who spend their lives in self-imposed isolation, cut off from the rest of the world and its trappings of modernity. Time passes with the slow progression of the moon across the sky, and ancient spirits whisp their way through Spanish moss and across the mist of waters infested with predators from another era. The alligators and snakes may believe themselves to be the deadliest creatures in their flooded kingdom, but the creatures’ violent reign in the wetlands pales when compared to the evil of greed and deception the most dangerous creature on Earth brings to the swamp.
Chase Fulton and his team of covert tactical operators have faced darkness and stood toe to toe with unspeakable evil in every corner of the world, but they’ve never drawn their swords against an enemy whose tentacles were so deeply laced throughout modern civilization as the foe they must defeat in the watery realm that time seems to have forgotten.
Join Chase and his unstoppable team of operators as they battle a new enemy unlike any they’ve faced before. Feel the heart-pounding action and taste the fire the team unleashes to restore and protect the people who want nothing more than to live their lives the way they have for centuries. There’s never been a chase like The Creole Chase.
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap Daniels has taken a slight departure from his normal International Intrigue to deal with an issue in Creole Country. His Creole dialect is enough to keep the laughter at the forefront as he explores the Mystery at Cajun Kenny LePine’s hometown involving his kinfolk. Chase gives the option to the Team to not be involved but they are - all in. As Cap takes you in one direction and then presents the unexpected……… you will be thinking “ What did the Snail 🐌 say to the Turtle 🐢? The fun is reading to find out as Cap does provide the answer!
Thank you for looking at this REVIEW that intent you find Interesting, Informative and HELPFUL! 😀
Cap Daniels you did it again! You let another masterpiece of a book fall out of your uncontrollable mind and land on paper. This one had me quite confused at the beginning but you put it all together into a book I couldn't put down! Thank you for another outstanding story sir! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a very happy new year!🍾🥂
Every time I think you can’t do it again you prove me wrong. What an action packed fantastic book. I was surprised at the start of the book then I was locked in the grasp of the story. Soooowell done. Thank you Cap for another great story. It’s Christmas Eve so it was your present to me. Thank you. And Merry Christmas
As much as I enjoyed this storyline and the continuation of the new characters development it once again ended to abruptly and conveniently. But, I love the series so much and put aside any other book I'm reading to read this first, so I'm obviously still enamored and enthralled, just a 'lil' less this time.
I literally have read every one of Cap Daniels books. And, I cannot wait for the next one of his books to be a product of his creative mind. This book is the same league as the others….outstanding.
Cap Daniel's takes us to new and interesting places in his stories. Creole Chase is set down in the bayous among the Creole people, where Chase comes across all sorts of mysterious circumstances, and it is not clear who can be trusted. Skipper, the tech and research expert for the Team, wants to join the Team in the field this time. There are plenty of other twists and turns in Creole Chase, and mistaken identities. It will keep you guessing. You can read any book in the Chase Fulton series in any order, but I recommend reading the series in order. They are all excellent. This one no less than the others. Enjoy it, I did.
After reading more than 30 of Cap Daniel’s books this is probably the best one yet. Enjoyed all the new characters and the old ones. Can’t wait for the next. Definitely a fan of his writing style. Doesn’t include pages of unnecessary descriptive filler about the scenery. Doesn’t have characters unrealistically carry weapons with no ammo in the chamber so they can dramatically “rack a round” in the chamber to intimidate their foe. Nor does he unrealistically have the hero close one eye to improve his aim before shooting a weapon from his foes hand. At least he keeps it real.
Cap just keeps getting better with each book. Near the end of this book he mentions Disco doing an angel flight, I have a feeling Cap has a few of those with his name on them. I know from his face book post be did a few to help the victims of the hurricane in North Carolina. One other thing I love reading is his author's notes it's interesting to see how be writes his books and how he changes different changes in the story as he writes it . Fantastic. I can never wait until his next one comes out.
This one is def off the regular path for Chase and crew, but still a great read. Our guys are on home turf embroiled in something they don’t understand for their beloved “Big Earl”. It’s an interesting turn of events that doesn’t come together til the end. Kept me flipping pages and loved it. Daniels never disappoints! A master of his craft, he has kept this series interesting, fast paced and wanting to read more. An amazing achievement in the literary world and has proven once again why he is one of the greatest!
Chase is in the bayou trying to imitate a couple of Discovery channel shows!Things happen like always and bad people start popping up all over the bayou's! The team makes a plan and begins to get the bad people under control! However, the actual story is more interesting than my condensed version! Cap has a real winner on his hands again!. I look forward to th 30th entry in this series!
I was a little skeptical at first since this was a very different genre from what the team usually does but it was very good. It took a little while to develop but was worth the wait. So many things happening at once. When the action started it never slowed down. I love this series and Chase and his band of misfit toys. I can't wait for the next one. Well done Cap.
This was an outstanding read. Great use of so many of the crew. Gator is playing a bigger and bigger role each book. As do the "girls". Amazing how different each of the women are on the team, and yet all but Penny played a role in this story. Nice work...I am ready for the next one.
Ok I’ve been hooked on Cap Daniel’s, since I read the first book in the Chase Fulton series. I just finished book 29, and hope the next book is released real soon. Wha I can tell you is the Chase Fulton series is the best I’ve read, he makes you laugh on one page then cry on the next, while you are sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for what is next.
Here it is and chase and crew are in the Louisiana bayou chasing snakes alligators and bad peoples its not a dream but all of this comes at their wanting to help friends indeed great story looking for the next installment. Ciao from Bobbie and I pure Vida God give us the help we need....
The gang heads to Louisiana this time for some personal work. But as usual, they find more than expected. Bayous, gumbo, and alligators are the appetizers for the main course of guns, helicopters, and nastiness that usually follows Chase Fulton. This was a good read.
A terrible book! Set in rural Louisiana, the author mocks the way of speaking of the local people and portrays them very negatively. The story is a mixed-up search for the origin of body parts found floating in a bayou but the story ends inconclusively with mysteries unresolved. Not a book worth spending any more time writing about.
Let's say this every time, but every book gets better. And all the stories are so much different than the last story. That they're always so enjoyable. Boy the last few books every one of the team has been beaten up one way or another. I really like the new person on the team.
I read several different action\adventure series and this is the one I can't wait until the next episode comes out. It has everything you want in an adventure series and I thoroughly enjoy reading it and am really bummed when I finish it and have to wait for the next one.
Chase-ing Gators and 'gators, Cajuns, water moccasins, murdering mobsters, in planes, boats, Hueys, from one big ship down on the bayou! Only in the world of Chase Fulton and his band of super heroes. Thanks, Cap, for another wild ride right at home with old friends for a brief break from our worlds.
Cap Daniels just keeps getting better. Book 29 in the Chase Fulton series has twists and turns that the reader never sees coming. And, unlike many heros, Chase is not omnipotent, but a human being who has the same self doubts as the rest of us at times. I can’t wait to start reading number 30 in tge series!
The Creole Chase is another exciting Chase Fulton adventure. Cap takes the reader on a wild ride through the bayou in a story with lots of action and twists. A great read.
If you have not read this entire series go back to book one. Cap Daniels writes in a way that makes you feel like you are there watching the action. The characters he develops are easy to root for.
Cap never fails to deliver another exciting, intense, nail biter......I so enjoy the brillant plot development and story line..... I eagerly await the next chapter in the Chase Fulton saga. Welk done, keep em coming!
I.got so engrossed in this story ... First, I read it straight through, couldn't put it down ... and ... Second, I feel.like I just returned.from vacation down in the bayou ... Great read! Thank.you!
The Creole Chase: A Chase Fulton Novel I have read Cap's entire Chase Fulton Series. It's a great series! His characters are well-developed, and the stories action-filled. Reading each book is like watching a movie. On more than one book, I stayed up until the book ended! Reading Cap Daniels is better than watching a TCM classic!
One of the very best, hands down. The kitchen is still messy, dusting still needs to be done. In other words, this book will cause you to get behind in EVERYTHING. Don't say I didn't warn you.
This another Outstanding Book in the Chase Fulton Series. I found it hard to put down, easy to follow and a very exciting. I will download Book #30, The Calling Chase, when I finish this review.
Just like all of the earlier books, this has lots of action. The big difference is that the “family “ continues to grow along with some hilarious events. I’m positive no one will be able to finish this book keeping a straight face.
The 29th fabulous book by Cap Daniels in the Chase Fulton series. I hang on the edge of my seat with every book I read. This series is beyond description. It is wonderful. I'm worried about coming to the end of this series. What will I do?
