They are acting for the world, but as she gets to know Alex, she's no longer sure if they are just acting. And she starts to understand some things about the healing that must take place in her life.

She is editor in chief of Women's Review of Books and on the creative nonfiction faculty of the Solstice MFA Program at Pine Manor College. Loved it!

I started this morning and couldn’t put it down. You feel all the emotions in this book; love, glimpses of emotional and physical pain and the fight to redemption. You get a small understanding how destructive the wrong person can alter your life not just in the time you are with them but the years following. Not all can overcome but we hold out hope we can.

Phenomenal read!!

I absolutely loved this book! So well written! I laughed, I cried, I chewed my nails! I went through every emotion while reading this extraordinary novel! Way to go!!
